Wow,, this debate ends up them vs us and I'm surprised someone didn't bring up the war of 1812-13-14 or the civil war were many died. No one wins in a war and I wish MAN would learn how NOT to get into one if possible.

Since most of the world is at war with the Muslims or should I say SOME called terrorists, isn't it natural for one to think at first? Of course, it could be hired Muslims working for the CIA like Bin Laden was to expand the war in the ME to invade, destroy and conquer and I could be wrong but did u think a plane would fly into the tower in NY? It's a very nasty world we live in today.

Do any of you agree, that if people do a job that could be life-threatening, a high salary is granted , especially the military OR are u one that say, well, u decided the occupation so live with the danger?

I just read an article that stats to defeat ISIS, certain countries should be helping like Russia and the leader of Syria may have to step down, so the fight would includes the rebels fighting in Syria. Putin expose to the G-20 Summit, that some of those countries are giving financial aid to ISIS and showed pictures of the oil smuggling ISIS is doing. I have read in other articles that Iraq has pictures of US planes dropping supplies to ISIS on several occasions, is this true, maybe, maybe not. Doesn't the countries that went into the ME to fight the enemy of the day, have a responsibility of helping the people? What NATO and the USA NEED to do is send boots on the ground, 100,000+ and take out ISIS once and for all because even thought the President of the US doesn't want to, which I can understand, there's no choice now, it has to be done because what ever they are doing isn't working and it would go on forever. Are u saying that if one is PM then automatically respect is theirs, even though there was a lot of questionable activity going on during his era? Harper lost that respect, as did some of his MPs and that 's why the voters wanted him gone, as the song says. Only time will tell if Trudeau will keep that respect or lose it as Harper has done.

Since u didn't link your remarks I'm not sure which speech u r talking about but the one I heard , Trudeau was telling the G20, what Canada has done in the past and what he thought the future may be concerning immigration. On the other side, Harper did tell the G20 how they should run their countries economy, did he not?

Didn't Russia kill more ISIS members than NATO, in the short time Russia started bombing. It's still a mystery why NATO countries can't get a hold of ISIS but Russia did more damage to them in a short time.

BC, u have a lot of things to say about Canada in this topic but what about the USA, one of the super-power nations with a military weapons and why have your country stopped ISIS? The US has more soldiers than ISIS yet u can't stop them.

All these "attacks " are just like the other wars the world has seen. We attack them and they attack us, its just a different style of war and the European countries are more open to those attacks. I really can't see how all this is going to end unless someone throws a nuke in the ME, and I hope it doesn't come to that.

Researchers have been looking into how water and gas can run any engine and not put out any toxins in the air. Why do some of u go the them vs us debate, when the topic is on Ben Carson, who should be looked upon with some respect because of his life story, especially growing up un Detroit during the 1960's when some of that city was on fire and vilolence was every were. Carson was able to get an education which sent his life where he is today. Just a reminder, if Canada's economy get going and becomes strong, the interest rates will go up and many with mortgages and loans may be in big financial trouble, which would affect the economy depending on the number of Canadians in financial trouble.
