  1. Thanks, but I don't run your links. Oh, and btw, I told you to PM me the location of the topic/post you were wanting a response to. Posting it here is trolling. Therefore, you can continue to b#tch and complain about not getting an answer.
  2. Let me give you a clue...when an opinion piece starts off with a lie it's pretty safe to say the rest can be tossed out. This is no exception. Nobody believed Stephen Harper was "scary". That was a rightwing narrative used to make him seem harmless. Nobody believed anything would happen immediately. Over time, healthcare will be weakened, I believe. Civil rights and military draft? Where did the idiot get that from? Oh yeah, the lies. I forgot. He has no friends or family who thought any of that shit.
  3. This topic is only a couple days old. If you're pining over points that were not addressed someplace else then you're welcome to PM me the location and I'll either respond or explain why I am not. Put asside the immature rightwing tactics and be professional.
  4. That's embarassing to all Canadians. It's ignorant attitudes like those people displayed that give us a bad reputation. I've heard the same anecdote about the USA booing the Canadian anthem when we weren't joining in Iraq. Who cares? It's not "hatred", it's booing at a hockey game for goodness sake.
  5. WHY IS EVERYONE OBSESSED WITH BUSH? CAN'T WE JUST STOP TALKING ABOUT HIM? LEAVE THE POOR GUY ALONE!!! HE'S ONLY GOT ONE ARMY FOR PETESAKE!
  6. Rightwingers have a difficult time with nuance. If a comparison is made, it's confusing unless the two things are exactly alike. Obviously Bush is not a homeless drifter and as far as we know does not slice up people, yes. However, the person you "read somewhere" might have been saying Bush commands a cult-like power over his followers. That is a fair comparison. He also claims the death and descruction he has sown was justified, when it clearly was not and was woven with deceit.
  7. What is this BUSH OBSESSION??? Maybe the fact that the little puke pulls all the strings has something to do with it. Just a guess.
  8. Oh, thanks for paraphrasing KK! You and him are both stand-on-the-side-of -road-shaking-fist-at-traffic types so it would have been hard for me to understand. I think this is fitting here: Tells it like it is.
  9. Well no shit. They're a bunch of rednecks. They're not ALL racist bigots, certainly.
  10. Your ignorance shocks me Really. Exactly what am I ignorant of here? Calling someone "ignorant" isn't an insult IMO, as long as you specify what they're ignorant about. I think I know why you left that part out.
  11. It's the majority opinion, here and down South. And since I posted this new information about bush releasing classified information for purposes of defamation have arisen. Just when you thought he had noplace to go but up, he goes down some more. Only my opinion. Don't be silly.
  12. What a joke. Will there be a weekly terrorist organization anouncment from now on? Harper is about 2 months away from showing up somewhere with a military jacket on. Gotta "support those troops" ya know. Cause Canadians sure aren't.
  13. Chuck Brodsky, wonderful product of the US!! http://www.chuckbrodsky.com/music.html it's the albumn at the top. Click on the little speaker beside the title. This link has a different section of the song...and is a better sounding link I think: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/cbrodsky3 And here's the lyrics: Liar Liar Pants On Fire Liar liar, pants on fire See you squirm, see you perspire Not a word you say is true There's never been one out of you Smoke & mirrors, bait and switch You and your friends are getting rich Picking pockets, pulling strings And other more dispicable things Liar Liar, pants on fire Preaching only to the choir Photo op in front of the steeple How did you manage to fool these people? Talk the lingo, dress the part Even put your hand on your heart Bomber jacket, emperor's clothes You can't even reach the end of your nose Liar liar, pants on fire Chain of command doesn't get any higher Orders come down from the top Punish the guy who pushes the mop Throw away the key and forget about bail The likes of you ought to rot in jail Guilty! Guilty of the highest crimes And the lowest ones at the very same time Liar liar, pants on fire Teleprompter, hidden wire Who's this G-d that speaks to you Who would authorize the things you do? Bend the rules, twist the facts Make excuses, cover your tracks Why won't you let anybody see The flag-draped coffins on tv? Liar liar, been found out Whistleblowers talked about How you classify & cook the books For the benefit of a bunch of crooks Great song, huh!? Guess who it's about?
  14. Oh, it's definitely not a government of PR!! There's zero public relations!!! What did you think of that Liberal GG btw? She read that Conservative tripe with class.
  15. Who blamed the policy? You're all over the place with your straw men Geoffrey.
  16. No, you cannot. Learn the law before you talk about it. "Liberals" are not labelling "speaking out against special interest" as hate speech. That's utter nonsense. The topic is about Garth Turner standing up to Harpers restriction on his MP's free speech. Twist in the wind if you like, but do it with a little accuracy please. I got that info from a police officer, he said technically anything anti-gay (or whatever other ethnic qualifier the law specifies) can land you an arrest with as little as a complaint from someone of that minority. Either he was confused, or you were. You would have to be a little more extreme than just "anti-gay" to violate our hate law. You'd have to actually incite violence, or incite hatred with non-factual methods. And religion is completely protected. A guy carrying a sign with a leviticus quote about putting gays to death was not convicted. Stop spreading misinformation please. I wouldn't have said it in the first place if it hadn't come from someone whos supposed to know the laws he enforcing. Well, now you know not to assume a policeman understands all of the laws on the books. That was a naive belief.
  17. Absolute nitwittery. "It could have been avoided" my a$$. The USA is going to do what it's going to do regardless of a few immigration changes or border measures. Passports at the border is mild stuff. The idea of building a friggin wall was floated!! What would you have said if that had gained traction..."Oh...if only the Liberals had....snif snif". Get over it already. What happens now is Stephen Harpers responsibility. Crying that it's already law so there's nothing can be done is piss poor.

  19. Did you read the article? Oh wait, that's always lacking in the rightwing reaction. It was a revenge killing. A soldier was killed in a roadside shortly before, and they burst through the door (perhaps after getting some "information" or perhaps saw someone run in the door...who knows.) spraying bullets. Just tell us straight out if you're accusing the girl of lying, mmmK? She lost 7 family members, is she now on an anti-US propaganda mission? That it?
  20. Gee, who should I believe....a ten year old girl or the US military? Considering they initially reported a road-side bomb killed these people and NOW admit they were all shot, it's looking like an easy decision. Time for them to leave.

  22. US withdrawal from Iraq = civilian casualties in the millions? Another Rwanda? Who told you that, Don Rumsfeld?
  23. What absolute and utter lying you are engaging in. Both of those events you are misrepresenting - knowingly I have no doubt. How do you manage to reconcile lies like this when the world is facing such serious issues? Here is the obvious truth, in such stark contrast to the lies you have posted: SHOCKER!!!A January 31/2003 memo has sufacedBush proposed painting US planes in UN colors to provoke an attack from Iraq, and thus provide an excuse for invasion SHOCKER!!!72% of American troops polled believe the USA should leave Iraq immediately or within one year. This is the truth. You peddle spin.
  24. Nothing wrong with making a plan. Conspiring about painting a plane UN colors to provoke an attack and thus provide an excuse for invasion.....there's something wrong with that.
