A new poll by EKOS on voter intentions in Ontario shows Mr. Eves' PCs have surged in popularity since August. 42% of decided voters declared they intended to vote PC, up from 35% in August while McGuinty's Liberals dropped from 49% to 43.5%. I believe the Eves has stated that he is in favour of some privatization (though he won't say that during the campaign as it will immediately cost him the election). I'm not aware of the specifics but if I remember correctly he was with Klein in lobbying the federal government to allow individual provinces to decide how to deliver their health care services. I saw they updated the CBC PEI votes website with your name in Parkdale-Belvedere. Pretty neat. The riding seems to have a popular PC incumbent, but nevertheless I hope you do very well, maybe even get ahead of the Liberal there. Do you have lawn signs or anything like that? Gugsy

There is a historical legacy that needs to be overcome and this is one way of attempting the level the playing field.

Hampton is likely a better alternative to the Tories than McGuinty.

I definitely think it should be amended so that courts cannot change laws without the consent of parliament, because essentially, that's what they've done with the same sex marriage issue. Shane
