1. I suppose, I'll keep my kleenex handy. 😁
2. The issue of Trump has degraded over time - it's no longer a major concern - maybe, that's why they've brought up and confessed that Trump brought up the 51st state! Trump issue is what made Carney go up in the polls. They want to bring it back to Trump issue! The polls must really be shifting to Poilievre's favor! 🤣
3. Conservatives closing in on Liberals’ lead in Ontario: Nanos I'm glad to see NDP getting some boost - which is bad for the LIBERALS. Monday night will be a very long night of nail-biting.
4. Canada’s top pollster David Coletto of Abacus Data recently revealed why he believes the polls are wrong and have been wrong throughout the entire election campaign.
5. Carney's going to sell out Canada.....and, we won't even know about it. BY claiming that Trump had respected our sovereignty in their conversation - looks like, Carney's trying to white-wash Trump! 🤣 Same old Liberals! That's what we're gonna get! Final nail on the coffin!
6. Politics' wheel of fortune. Right now - do you think Singh doesn't regret taking down the government in DECEMBER, while Trudeau was in power? Had he listened to Poilievre, and done it then............. NDP would've been the official opposition since the polls suggest the LIBERALS might've been practically obliterated. Singh waited too long.
7. Bottom line: Carney was wrong in saying Trump respected our sovereignty.
8. How do you take his word................if he's leaving out details? What happened to TRANSPARENCY? "The president says lots of things, but the essence of the discussion and where we moved the conversation to, was exactly what I said," Carney said during a campaign stop in Port Moody, B.C., Thursday. Carney said that while Trump did bring up the 51st state, he chose, at the time, to describe where the two leaders ended their conversation, rather than giving a detailed blow-by-blow of the call. In March, when Carney was first asked to describe the tone of the conversation with Trump, he said it was "cordial" and "positive" and that "the president respected Canada's sovereignty today both in his private and public comments." At the time Carney did not mention that Trump brought up the 51st state again, but according to two sources with knowledge of the discussion who spoke with Radio-Canada this week, the issue of Canadian sovereignty was, in fact, raised in the first part that March 28 conversation. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/carney-trump-51st-state-1.7517252 But, we were led to believe that Trump never brought it up, and that somehow it points to Trump's respect for Carney. Making it look like Carney is the best guy to deal with Trump. Leaving out that detail, was good for Carney's campaign.
9. Carney said Trump did not bring up the 51st State in his first phone call. Remember - the Liberal spin was that Trump have respect for Carney. Now - it's come out that's a lie. Trump brought up the 51st State. 🤣 Carney is good at evasion and spin. I don't know what the Liberals understand by the word....."TRANSPARENCY." Carney says Trump raised '51st state' during their call but 'the president says a lot of things' Liberal Leader Mark Carney confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump did bring up the prospect of Canada becoming the 51st state during their March 28 call, while insisting Trump did show respect for the country as a sovereign nation. "The president says lots of things, but the essence of the discussion and where we moved the conversation to, was exactly what I said," Carney said during a campaign stop in Port Moody, B.C., Thursday. Carney said that while Trump did bring up the 51st state, he chose, at the time, to describe where the two leaders ended their conversation, rather than giving a detailed blow-by-blow of the call. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/carney-trump-51st-state-1.7517252
10. And talk about being between a hard place and a hard rock! Lord help us if Carney wins a majority, since he can do anything! But if it's a minority - he'll be capitulating to other parties to be propped! Same Trudeau-esque saga, all over again.
11. They're not comparable. The point: we know the track record of the LIBERALS when it comes to costed plans and actual cost! Carney is very much part of the team that gave us the last deficit......that was nowhere near than the lower costed plan they gave before! It had ballooned! The Liberals don't care about guard rails when it comes to spendings. Carney is adding a huge amount to that. You bet, it will be even higher than that costed plan. The LIBERALS will stick to their ways. Carney was behind a lot of Trudeau's economic decisions! It's in the nature of the party! That's why we need change! A change of doing things.
12. Compare costed plans all you want. With the Liberals, costed plans are irrelevant! 😁 The point: we know the track record of the LIBERALS when it comes to costed plans and actual cost! Carney is very much part of the team that gave us the last deficit......that was nowhere near than the lower costed pan they gave before! It had ballooned! The Liberals don't care about guard rails when it comes to spendings. Carney is adding a huge amount to that. You bet, it will be even higher than that costed plan. That's why we need change! A change of doing things. The LIBERALS had been in the driver seat for 10 years. Look where they'd taken us! Carney will most likely win if the polls give the accurate projection. With TRUMP's trade - which could extend beyond his presidential years IF Vance - or someone who'll continue what Trump had done - becomes his successor. Our focus shouldn't be HOW TO, OR, WHO WILL NEGOTIATE with Trump. Trump has a vision for the USA he wants to fulfill. That's his focus. Ours should be, how to zoom FAST to becoming SELF-RELIANT! Self-reliance is the surest way to stand against Trump! Or, anyone else who threatens our sovereignty. SELF-RELIANCE, is our economic salvation. We can't rely on allies. Look at Europe - yeah, they're banding together to trade with one another! Because, it benefits them too! But nobody actually stood up to stand with us and speak against Trump's threat on CANADA becoming the 51st State. No one actually stood up to Trump to address it! Bottom line: It's everyone for himself!
13. Just like during the US election - I often scrolled down and read some of the comments below the videos. It gives me a feel of how the people are reacting, of which of the candidates' supporters are more enthusiastic and engaged. This video has had more than 1 hundred thousand views, and more than a thousand comments in just 13 hours.
14. Polls, response bias? - David Colletto Lisa Rait interview starts at 5:00 Former Cabinet Minister TORCHES Carney on CBC—Leaves Reporter SPEECHLESS
15. You bet, in reality it will be even higher than that! Haven't we learned yet? Banker’s Budget worse than the Drama Teacher’s
16. Hahahaha CBC is mocking Rebel News for selling ads. Well - unlike the CBC which is being funded by us, the REBEL NEWS has to sell ads to survive. AND, they seem, to be doing well! Lo - pretty soon......CBC may have to be selling ads too. Just like everybody else. How will you fare then?
17. Furthermore - let's face it. Even in the actual debate, are we really buying what the candidates had rehearsed for? What are we really waiting to see in the debate? THE "KNOCK-OUT PUNCH!" Same with the scrum, but this time it's candidate vs press. TRUE NORTH was able to deliver it with their questions.
18. Let's face it: Even in the actual debate - are we really buying all the rehearsed responses candidates give? What are we actually waiting for?
19. I don't really read the Rebel News - not for any reason other than it hasn't been a go-to habit - though I watch and use some of their youtube videos which are conveniently displayed. Therefore, I don't know if they have an editorial. I might now make it a point to go and check it out. I know that Ezra can be quite passionate and dramatic (he's been in the public eye for so long)............. ..........but it's his actual message that should be judged. Not his presentation. I'm big on FREE SPEECH. That's the hallmark of DEMOCRACY! CBC is trying to suppress FREE SPEECH, when it tries to exclude certain people who differs from their ideology from being able to express their views. That's what's happened with this scrum fiasco. Comier talked about free speech with Cochran in the OP's video. Indeed there is a limit to free speech.....but asking RELEVANT questions in a scrum - especially so when they're given passes to ask questions - isn't one of them. timer: 3:15 Cochran's response was pathetic! Comier had a good come-back: ...but for most people the press the press availability availabilities excuse me after is not the most important thing Look David - I don't particularly care about who asks the question.....therefore whether you're from CBC or Rebel News, is not something to get excited about or a main highlight to me. You're not part of the main event........and........... you're just a voice doing your job! Whether there's a scrum before or after the debate, or not, wouldn't take anything from the debate, which is the main event that people tuned in for. I want to hear questions that are different, especially questions that could get the candidate off-guard and hadn't rehearsed for. TRUE NORTH did it.
20. Ezra Levant hit it on the nail when he said, practically everyone today with a cellphone can be a journalist. If you record something newsworthy, and report it - that's news! I've seen ads on news channels urging people to record news they come upon, and submit it. It's a different world now, Michael. Barton and Cochran are so behind the times. Lol - they're getting clobbered by the likes of youtube and other social media. How many news items become so detailed when it's being recorded as it happens?
21. That's why Carney was stammering with these two questions by TRUE NORTH.......especially the second one, which he really didn't answer. He didn't know how to answer it without damaging his campaign or poisoning his relationship with Trump should he become the PM........but he clearly says there are two genders! You think he won't capitulate to Trump? Why do you think UK court has ruled clearly on the two genders? You think it has nothing to do with aligning with Trump? What the UK ruling on the definition of ‘woman’ means for same-sex spaces, culture wars and more The United Kingdom’s Supreme Court has ruled that a woman is defined by “biological sex” under the country’s equality law – excluding transgender women – in a case that is expected to impact accommodations for trans women in bathrooms, hospital wards, sports clubs and more. https://www.cnn.com/2025/04/19/europe/uk-supreme-court-biological-woman-intl/index.html The irony - Barton even explained it has something to do with the UK ruling on genders. And she says, it's irrelevant? DUH! 🤣 DEI is a big issue to Trump and MAGA. We'd seen it being imposed already in France, so don't imagine the likelihood of the same won't happen to Canada, or to Canadian companies. How the US Removal of DEI Programs Could Affect Canada While Canada has its own legal and social framework surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion, the developments in the U.S. may still influence Canadian businesses, policies, and public opinion. Here's how it might affect Canada: https://www.hirediverse.ca/blog/us-dei-removal-impact-canada Don't get me wrong. I am against WOKE. And although I'm not a feminist.......... I am very much for protecting the identity of women! BIOLOGICAL WOMEN.
22. Barton and Cochtan thinks the questions asked by True North is not relevant to the TRUMP issue. They're assessment shows that CBC has a very low standard when it comes to journalism. DEI is a big issue to Trump and MAGA. 23. Don't we do this too, something like in the USA? Remember the outrage when in the last US election, the LA TIMES which traditionally gives endorsements, had refused to give an endorsement to Harris. Editorial endorsement by a media like newspapers........they are usually done.....right?
