3,500 City of Ottawa Jobs to be bilingual
Leafless replied to Leafless's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
This is an outright LIE. You must be an idiot. There is no demand for bilingualism in Canada outside of the artificial discriminatory federal one. Quebec has no use for English or developing a bilingualism policy. Your just pissed off because the French language in Canada could NEVER create a demand for its language without FORCED discriminatory federal government intervention. -

Why don't you try looking up the definition of race? In my Concise Oxford dictionary, race= item#2, a tribe, nation, etc., Item#5, a group of persons, animals, or plants connected by common descent. #8, a class of persons etc., with some common feature. The emphasis concerning race, is not only on colour. Bilingualism does not divide anyone. But 'official bilingualism' does when it is sponsored by the government of the land, in this official multicultural society, that is supposed to represent ALL CANADIANS and not discriminate and divide on the basis of language and make it policy. The 'collective will of the citizens of Canada' was totally ignored by this 'federal official bilingualism policy'. -

And again I suggest if the federal government ever tried to accommodate French within the federal public service without the excuse French is an official language, then there would be an outcry from other minority languages demanding the same bilingual status applied to their language, as Canada is an official multicultural country. Regardless, in all probability the federal government would use no other language than the majority commercial language English in the absence of official languages. Yes, certainly. Quebecers have been complaining since day one for official recognition of their French language and culture and cries to recognize Quebec as a nation. This is racism. We are talking about a federal government 'official bilingualism policy that 'DIVIDES' on the bases of culture-'a component of race'. Learning a second language does not hurt anyone is correct. But if the requirement does not exist outside for instance of the discriminating federal government 'official bilingualism' then quite simply there is NO INITIATIVE to learn a second language, period. Most people would rather do other things. The private sector does provide bilingual services in cities like Ottawa where the city has a bilingual policy and the private sector caters to this. But then again there are fewer English jobs available because of this and English speakers suffer because of this , in their own majority English speaking city---unbelievable. No it's not, Ottawa's bilingual policy is just as discriminating and racist as the the federal one due to the fact fundamental collective rights of Ottawa taxpayers were ignored by city council who passed this bilingualism policy without the consent of city of Ottawa taxpayers. -

Injustices? I think it's just to expect federal government employees to be bilingual... the "Official Languages of Canada" law is silly. The federal government should be free to require whichever language skills they wish, provided they provide language training in public schools (which they do). Without the 'Official Languages Act, their would be no 'official bilingualism within the federal government and Francophone's would be dealt with in English or federal offices from within Quebec. You know as well as I concerning bilingual positions in the federal government, do not simply provide services to Francophone's, but providing a functional Francophone working class society within the confines of the federal public service. Where else in society would you get this discriminatory, racist, linguistic handling of a minority language outside of the federal government? http://www.ocol-clo.gc.ca/faq.asp?Lang=English#q1 -

You make a good point. They kind of did violate their law, which is a terrible law that should be revised (like many others). Yes, I wonder how the federal government will ever retrieve billions of illegally paid tax payers dollars, over the years and respond to the injustices concerning thousands of English speaking Canadians who were denied employment (and many who lost their employment with the federal government), with the federal government because of improperly implemented discriminatory and racist federal 'official bilingualism'. -
It's getting warmer and IMV it's not a natural cycle and I don't believe CO2 is the primary culprit. Graphs show population growth and global warming go hand in hand. How else do you explain the abundance of ski's for sale at garage sales with an average price of $20-$25. Everyone knows it's getting warmer but no one can prove why.

First of all I must ask you to read post #43. If you have read post #43, you should understand that this countries laws and freedom's have all been already or previously established by the British and given to us in the way of a constitution. This is why Canadians never had to fight for this country, as the fighting had already been accomplished by the British who won Canada. Now obviously you are asking the question, how possibly Leafless can consider the Charter a bad and racist thing? How can anyone possibly argue against Mr. Trudeau and his 'JUST SOCIETY'. The problem is BC-chick, 'just society' means the opposite of equal opportunity. It means the FORCING of equal outcomes by law, plan, program or financial methods. Quebecers were disadvantaged because of their language and therefore discriminated against, visible minorities were and are considered permanently disadvantaged and therefore discriminated against, homosexuals as Aboriginal are forever to be considered disadvantaged and discriminated against and other groups can be added to the list, there is no time limit. The one group that does not appear to be discriminated upon is the White English speaking Canadian who are now DISCRIMINATED against FOREVER because of their skin colour and sex etc. Therefore these forced racist, sexist, ethnic laws, fly in the face of our most fundamental principle and right, for ALL Canadians to be equal of every other person before and under the law which is now replaced with a Trudeau envisioned discriminating racist Charter group laws, that is not in accordance to our historic inherent legal principles, the same ones that have allowed Canada to prosper since it's beginning. Mr. Trudeau implemented and failed his duty as a responsible PM and implemented this Charter without the moral and legal permission of the collective will of the people of Canada, thereby spitting and laughing at the collective rights of the people of Canada.

Well, to satisfy your lack of understanding a technical view to what Apartheid is, notwithstanding the absence of your own definition, I will refer to the the Official Languages Act, Official Multiculturalism and the Charter as simply being PLAIN RACIST. Your intellect concerning Canadian history is extremely shallow considering you do not even know it was the British who won Canada on the 'Plains of Abraham' not Trudeau and his band of henchmen. British history and English based law, the Magna Carta issued by King John in 1215 AD and is the foundation of Canada's Laws and Rights is what we are talking about. Our Constitutional Monarchy whereby the King (Queen) is subject to the direction of the parliament of the people since 1649 and the beheading of King Charles. The King's death signified the Supremacy of Parliament as the supreme lawmaker and ruling authority although generations of struggle ensued before parliaments final supremacy was established. The Parliament of Canada represents our collective will as a people, as expressed through our elected representatives. The securing of our rights and freedoms took 800 years of sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears and a man named Pierre Trudeau spit on these rights and dictated his own. Many Canadians will always remember this as Mr. Trudeau being a traitor to the collective will of the people which was totally ignored and changing the face of the country to a Trudeau version.

The laws I am speaking of are with in the 'Charter of Rights and Freedom's'. 1.-Official languages of Canada, including 'official bilingualism' relating to federal entities-divide on the basis of culture -a component of race. 2.-Minority Language Educational Rights- again divide on a basis of culture, when Canada is NOT 'officially bilingual'. 3. Rights of Aboriginal Peoples of Canada-again dividing on the basis of culture a component of race. 4.- Equalization And Regional Disparities-again dividing on the bases of race and culture. Canada always did have a culture built on a thousand years of historical birthright of individual rights and principles. To-day with 'official multiculturalism' it provides racial recognition and provides generous funding for these different racial groups to promote their old world culture, fight racism, open credit institutions, arrange cultural festivals, print their own newspapers, retain their own languages and never ONCE be told to acknowledge and respect the the principle culture in Canada. This is racial and cultural divisiveness at its worst equating to government sponsored Apartheid. You apparently have no understanding of Apartheid. Or perhaps anything at all. And your statement that Canada "always did have a culture built on a thousand years of historical birthright of individual rights and principles." is so off the wall, I am still laughing.

How so? Laws the divide people by skin colour or race or ethnicity are no better than Apartheid.

I have no idea what you talking about.

There you go, Leafless assures you. So that settles it. Are you aware of Whites who live in subsidized housing, in some Canadian cities are being forced to leave by other cultures who declare, 'this subdivision is no longer White'. Surely you must be aware of of Black and Asian gangs in major cities that pull of every crime known to man, primarily against White's. Or are you simply misinformed and wish to remain ignorant?

For example? Right here in this country we have a multicultural policy entrenched in our constitution (the only country in the world to do this) that is racist against majority White English speaking Canadians. Our laws were originally established by common consent through our Parliaments, Federal and Provincial and by or courts reviewing prior court decisions. These prior decisions were called precedents, some reaching back hundreds of years. To-day with the Charter of Right's and Freedom's, we have Provincial judges and Supreme court judges acting as social activist overriding democratic decisions of our Provincial and Federal government thereby silencing the will of the Canadians expressed through their elected MPP's, MLA's and MP's. Unfortunately countries like Canada, most acts pertaining to reverse racial discrimination are hushed up by authorities, since in a country like Canada, these things are not suppose to happen. But they do on a grand scale especially involving Islamic terrorism, with Muslims in Europe and Blacks in the U.S. http://www.quebecoislibre.org/021109-6.htm http://www.adversity.net/policefire_2_chicago.htm

South Africa has a white minority, yet..... Yet what? Whites are being MURDERED and attacked in South Africa. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article....RTICLE_ID=27892

Before you can make a statement like that, it would only be fair to make a comparison to some other country where Whites were the minority and how they would be affected with the conditions you describe. Unfortunately there are no other countries of another race that harbour millions of Whites and therefore an accurate comparison concerning the scope of racial discrimination cannot be made. But I can assure you, Whites and or their English language, currently are discriminated against in many countries throughout the world, even linguistically right here in Canada along with individuals practicing outright or reverse racial discrimination resulting in the type of undesirable consequences you describe.

Probably because he feels like he personally has not accomplished that much selling 'unperfected operating systems' that are still not refined to this day. And he is basically bored with billions earned from what could be best described as 'borderline fraud' and simply wants to join the Hollywood crowd to somehow justify his material success. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/349309.stm

Canada told not to use term 'visible minorities'
Leafless replied to scribblet's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
What your saying is ludicrous. If you tag anyone with the minority label then all others should be tagged with the appropriate I.D. label also, i.e.: 1. Deaf person = part of handicapped invisible minority group 2. A Francophone= part of linguistic visible minority group 3. English speaking person= part of linguistic visible majority group 4. A Black deaf person= part of Black handicapped linguistic minority group 5. A White Francophone= part of White majority, linguistic minority group And the list goes on. Can't you see how racist this all is? For I.D. purposes, either vocal or written, for whatever official purpose, you call it for what factual information properly describes the individual and applies to everyone. -
The article states more than 'measuring particulate matter'. It also stated: "The Pacific storm track matters more, the Molina team notes, because it influences the flow of air, and tropical heat, all the way around the globe." Does this not directly influence so called global warming, something we did not know before? BTW. Before you go off the deep end and criticize people alleging they don't know what they are talking about, consider this. 1.- Oceans alone emit 90 Billion tons of CO2 annually. 2.-Decaying vegetation emit another 90 Billion tons of CO2 annually. 3.-Man emits 6 Billion tons of CO2 annually. AGAIN THAT NUMBER IS 6-BILLION tons of CO2. 4.-100 Million years ago there was 6-times the amount of CO2 in the air than there is now and temperatures were marginally COOLER than they are to-day. 5.- There is NO scientific consensus that suggest CO2 is responsible for global warming. So it looks like you are the one that does not know what your talking about and owe me an apology.

Canada told not to use term 'visible minorities'
Leafless replied to scribblet's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I think the U.N. is bang on, the term "visible minorities" is racist. Why would a country such as Canada display such racial disparity when in fact the country is 'officially multicultural' and is an obvious fact, the country contains a variety of races. There is no need to separate or label anyone on the basis of race. Canada freely chose this official multicultural route. -
You have three legitimate options: 1.- Charge more for your Canola. 2.- Buy shares in Becel. 3.- Produce and sell your own margarine. You should stop blaming others who invest large amounts of money to make money and then turn around and reap their rewards for little effort.

"Hide behind copyright laws to make a fortune." Is this not what copyright laws are for? I really don't know how you can call copying movies that are 'protected by copyright' and selling copies to countries of the world or for commercial use here in Canada, legitimate competition. I call it theft and the federal government should implement laws to stop this outright theft.
