Rule #1 in business - be profitable. It's a small percentage that at the end of the day won't even be noticed. Not sure which companies or sectors you're referring to but nobody is using Canada as an immigration hub. The US has enough immigrants for companies to support those low paying jobs and has the H-1B visa for non-immigrants in specialty occupations. Tariffs are simply a tax imposed by one country to another for goods and services imported....and has nothing to do with immigration laws.

Absolutely agree that having the knowledge of upcoming government regulatory, tax or legal changes gives a significant and unfair advantage for an investor. One thing that I've noticed when you get into so-called debates with idi0ts like you is that they generally keep trying to say you said something to get the convo as twisted as their mind runs. No, I never at all said ban most commonly owned guns. I got my hunters safety license at the ripe age of 14 and hunted and/or shot trap/skeet for a lot of years. Not my thing anymore but on the rare occasion we'll get out target shooting. So yeah, not an expert by any means, but I know enough about guns. If someone showed up with a pump action shotgun they'll get off 3 to 5 shots, which is all a typical shotgun will hold. That's what....
