  1. Ahhh yes, that trusted source of reliable and non-bias information....Rebel News. I read it every day, right after I catch up on news from crackhead.com This is nothing. If he did in fact hide his holdings this would have been on the floor of parliament in a heartbeat. Why no news other than on a no news site? Likely answer....he did in fact disclose all his real estate holdings but Davidson and other numb nut conservatives are bent out of shape because he owns 3 homes of significant value....in 3 of the sexiest places anywhere. Robertson is spot on when he says we need more homes built/supply to bring down prices. Only a fool, or someone who doesn't own real estate thinks prices should somehow be legislated down so all homes are affordable to everyone. That's not the real world nor will it be, and for where these properties of Robertson's are located...they will never get to a level that is affordable to everyone.
  2. 1) Not being out here that long, but long enough to see that you have id10cy down to a science. Congrats. 2) lol.... he was a teenager when he worked in collections for Telus, and then a conservative magazine. lol....that's practical experience for what??? Certainly not a prime Minister DF. Couldn't care less about Trudeau....he's gone thankfully. 3) The good argument is that he couldn't win his own riding for f*** sakes. He obviously didn't know how to run a campaign either. Losing a 27% lead....that is hilarious! So yeah, he's not even a capable party leader and will be looking for another vocation soon enough. Your other drivel.... nonsense you find on your off the main websites and not worth the typing effort to rebut. Try reading actual news and actual comments from those Carney deals with, like Canadian Premiers and Trump. But again, what are "all the massive lies"?
  3. lol.... What papers are you reading.... rebel news or other off the grid sites? Flattering Trump is simple posturing and negotiating. Carney's dealing with someone who has the temperament and mind set of a 9 year old and flattery will get you everywhere with him. If that's part of the posturing then so be it. I'll throw it back to you and say it's beyond stupid that you would want a career politician with no practical economic, trade or business experience whatsoever negotiating for our country and the time we're living in. That's a joke! Career politicians are the reason people here and every other country are f'n tired of politics....time for them to go and get people in the positions who can and know how to do things. I'll give you that.... it is a honeymoon right now (as it should be given he's only been in the seat for 6 weeks). The positive and why people voted him in is that he's a businessman through and through and is hopefully going to get us back on the right track. I have one hell of a lot more faith in him than I would if the other guy was somehow in the seat...
  4. Not fact... His approval rating continues to fall and he'll be essentially irrelevant before too long. He has an air about him that people just don't like and likely never will. Time for the CPC to find another face to lead them nowhere.... The Nanos poll also found Prime Minister Mark Carney dominating in rankings of “preferred prime minister.” Among Nanos respondents, 49.7 per cent favoured keeping Carney in the top job, against just 24.2 per cent who wanted to see a Prime Minister Pierre Poilievre. This is the lowest that Poilievre has ever scored in the Nanos ranking since becoming Conservative leader in 2022. The shift is particularly dramatic when considering that Nanos had Poilievre as a prime minister-in-waiting as recently as January. When the year 2025 began, the Tories were polling at 45 per cent to the Liberals’ 23 per cent, with Poilievre posting an all-time high of 40.5 per cent as preferred prime minister.
  5. So let's see..... One guy is a career politician that has never been in the private world of business or trade, and a very good argument that he isn't even a capable politician. The other guy is not a politician and has a proven track record in global economics, global relationships, trade and business. Will let you figure out who is who.... Curious of "all the massive lies"....which ones are those?
  6. The 1% difference in popular vote had little to do with PP and everything to do with Trudeau and liberal fatigue. PP wasn't, isn't, and will never be popular. He can try a new style of fashion, brush his teeth whiter, get a new hair style, or take nice lessons....it won't matter. The guy just isn't likeable....period. There's a reason he lost his seat. According to a new study by Ekos, Prime Minister Mark Carney now leads Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre in net favourability by 70 points. Net favourability of Carney sits at +36%, significantly higher than that of Poilievre (-34%).
  7. You're reading the wrong papers.... There is zero question that Carney finished hosting the G7 with nothing but positive reviews from the media, colleagues, and most importantly for us, Trump. Thankfully it's his first job in politics. Why would we want a politician negotiating for us? The vast majority of people want someone negotiating that first of all understands how to negotiate, and then understands global trade and business. Seriously....you want a career politician like PP negotiating for our future when the guy has never left the political womb and been in the real world his adult life. He knows nothing of international players or politics, nor does he know anything about trade or business. Carney's aura and business acumen are unquestionably top of class and we're fortunate to see come along when he did.
  8. Not sure what you watched but it's certainly not the aura Carney conveys. The guy is a seasoned pro with the self confidence and level of arrogance to match that Trump and other leaders can see, relate to, and appreciate. Look no further than Trump's comments of Carney. He's a great look for Canada right now, and will get a good deal for Canada when the time is right.
  9. What exactly are you talking about? Carney wisely said nothing as the idi0t babbled on about the G8. Looking weak.... be serious. He looked and is coming across as a more than capable leader, which is exactly what the country thought he'd be and why he was voted in. A true embarrassment would be watching PP represent Canada while looking like a deer in the headlights.
  10. No idea, but with a comment like.....Most sane people stopped reading at "climate action" - fair assumption don't you think (although maybe "far" doesn't fit...), knowing being oblivious to climate fact is part of the right ideology script.
  11. So it's only sane if it fits your narrative.... Typical of those on the far right. The climate "argument" is comical when talking facts and trying to rationalize with those who disregard facts because they don't align with their political views. Oblivious.... is a word that comes to mind.
  12. Old saying but as true today as then.... can't fix stupid. It's hilarious calling me a cultist..... seriously lol. I'd have to think with your far right views many/most would direct that to you. Coal-fired plants should be shut down. Absolute nonsense to think otherwise. Maybe look for the facts behind so-called liberal cancelled projects.... https://www.desmog.com/2025/04/16/no-canadas-so-called-no-pipelines-bill-didnt-block-these-16-energy-projects/ "Go die"..... you're telling me to calm like an adult lol. That's comment a 13 year old would use in the schoolyard. Weak.... real weak
  13. Encouraging massive invasion by illegal immigrants including known violent gangs is a ridiculous comment. Who, when , where has any Democrat publicly welcomed mass numbers of illegal immigrants and violent gangs to their city or state? There is no single legal definition, but sanctuary states generally restrict their agencies from sharing information with federal immigration authorities or holding individuals in local custody based solely on immigration detainers. This often involves preventing state and local law enforcement from assisting in federal immigration enforcement actions like detaining individuals based on immigration status. That applies to both democrat and republican represented sanctuary states and cities.
  14. And yet here we are.... a 4 time liberal government. Time to get over it, again.... Check your facts about "soaring interest rates"....which we don't have, and "sky-high inflation" and "astonishing increase in homelessness"....which are global problems and not unique to Canada. Won't even comment on vax.... not worth the time. CBC "billions of dollars" is 1.4b to be exact...
  15. Typical Trump made for TV attention to distract from his failing so-called trade policies and affect it's having on US economy. Will give him that illegal immigration has lessened but fact is the Biden admin was deporting more last year than Trump is now....but Trump needs to media fare to give the impression he's the saviour, which his sheep buy no questions or facts required.
  16. I wasn't a respondent but am in the majority.... I don't live on stolen indigineous land. What happened in the 1600's through the 1800's is history, and that can't be changed. If the younger generation has more liberal views, then so be it. I personally think the voting age should 16 years old. If you can drive a car at 16 and have that responsibility, why can't you vote? Because you don't agree with their views is NOT a reason why the voting age should be lowered.
  17. Yes, I live "here" in Canada and well over 15 years of age. I can start with the social progress we've made - social acceptance, increased diversity and improved health care access. How about our technologial innovation (AI & Space exploration), or environmental protection in the way of climate action, conservation efforts and sustainable practices. I'm sure those mean very little to you in the politically bias and contrarian world you appear to live in. Sourpuss....seriously lol Good to see that you do something in the community with your civic participation. Hopefully you leave your effed up political views at home when you do that. And no, I don't wave vaccine pom poms but am smart enough to know that they save lives....an estimated 154 million lives in round numbers. And yes, admittedly the 0.056% of people who have had adverse affects....not on my radar or thoughts. So again, get your sorry ass out of the country if it's that's bad...
  18. Rather than constantly dumping on our country because of your partisan views, just leave if it's that bad. My guess is that you contribute very little to nothing socially to make your community and country better so rather than complaining about the country every day, just leave. Be sure to renounce your citizenship on the way out....
