  1. What's the problem... I thought you said politics were divisive by nature and just part of the game.
  2. Give your head a shake.... Hurricane winds on tinder dry land was the reason. Trips.... Is Cancun Ted in Texas with this emergency, or did he leave to avoid the rain.
  3. It's no different, but I wouldn't expect any other response from you. Only in Maga's orbit can democrats be blamed for not being able to control a fire on tinderbox dry land with hurricane force winds. I'm sure if this flooding had happened in Cali the orange *sshole and his loyal sheep would find a reason to blame democrats for.
  4. An absolute tragedy and nightmare for those affected... I can only imagine the grief that parents are dealing with right now. Truly devastating.... Your comments on liberals however is somewhat disingenuous don't you think? I seem to recall some *sshole who wears orange make-up blaming "Newscum" and democrats for the LA fires, which were also weather related. But guessing that's different.... The posts you show are from individuals. Let's see how many elected democrat officials are as crass as Trump was.
  5. Yours, and other like minded peeps ongoing quest to tell people what they think or what they said so that it fits your narrative is commendable. Foolish, but the effort is there so commendable....
  6. It's changing, but North American's are generally not serious about the climate if they have to pay for it. Doesn't matter whether it's building materials, how we heat/cool our homes, or our choice of vehicles. Like most purchasing decisions we make the perceived value of that purchase and your financial position will influence those choices. Beyond the impact to our wallets and debatable concerns of what carbon tax does to an economy, there is little argument to not try and evolve to a cleaner society. Affordability for many is the reality though and is going to dictate the support for that. And for what it's worth.... our energy grid is probably a little more robust than the US's, but an infrastructure concern for both as the electrification of the world evolves.
  7. It's been a conversation for many years. Try google, it works.....
  8. You should probably go back and try to find one comment I made "excusing' China's emissions. Look but you won't find. Stating that they lead the world in clean energy investment is not excusing anything.....It's simply fact. Are you able to understand that now?
  9. You can assume, but that's all it is....an assumption. Win a federal election then we can talk about.
  10. 'You confuse stating facts with being emotionally invested'. If you read the comment then you would be asking this question....
  11. Is this really supposed to be a question? Climate change is not based on emotions, it's based on fact.
  12. lol... that was my point of you 😂 Move on to your next conspiracy....
  13. No, you choose not to lend any credibility to the many differing opinions, and of course you have to throw in a new conspiracy of the left only profiting from. Move on....
  14. You confuse stating facts with being emotionally invested. But yes, I do care about the environment.
  15. First thing you've said that is accurate.... Why would I 'admit' our democracy is comprised when it is not. Regarding your foolish claims of bribery, let's look at it this way.... CBC is a public broadcaster that relies on government funding. Considering the only government we've had in power for 10+ years now is liberal so of course this is who provides the funding. We don't know what the conservatives would have done because they can't seem to win a federal election. Let's revisit when/if they do to see whether they choose to fund or not fund.
  16. They do, but also they're still a developing nation with 1.4B people that is diversifying it's energy mix to renewable faster than most countries. Don't believe anyone is bragging....just stating facts
  17. I've commented on what many believe it will do to the deficit, healthcare and the environment. Your choice to agree or disagree or whether you want to believe and understand the differing opinions from your elected officials, economists or public policy think tanks. https://budgetmodel.wharton.upenn.edu/issues/2025/7/1/senate-reconciliation-bill-budget-economic-and-distributional-effects
  18. All this, and still no answer. Carry on...
  19. Trump's bill could add up to ~3.4T to debt Doing that Hopefully... Always has and will be the strongest Doge got mixed results.... Trump's weekend golf trips cost $26M to end of March. Lots of waste there. What regulations? Trade stance hasn't helped so far. America first has countries looking at diversifying their trade with others. Unlikely the manufacturing Trump talk about is coming back. Okay Won't comment... Trumps' got his bill now so the rubber hits the road. Futures up so seems market likes it so far.
  20. Not the intent... America hasn't been great since the 50's. What needs to be done to make it great in the 2020's?
  21. Yes, you're just not capable of comprehending. If you didn't have TDS you'd know...
  22. I've fully explained it a number of times but you're not capable of understanding. Your Trump Deification Syndrome has you believing divisiveness is what the cool Maga crowd does.
