  1. Not the intent... America hasn't been great since the 50's. What needs to be done to make it great in the 2020's?
  2. Yes, you're just not capable of comprehending. If you didn't have TDS you'd know...
  3. I've fully explained it a number of times but you're not capable of understanding. Your Trump Deification Syndrome has you believing divisiveness is what the cool Maga crowd does.
  4. You know what the different opinions are.... Moderate Republicans, or what remain of them, also quickly quit the field. Thom Tillis, a Republican from North Carolina facing down an uncertain re-election bid, expressed concerns about the bill’s massive cuts to Medicaid, the federal low-income healthcare program on which many Americans – and many of his constituents – rely. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania - I voted to strengthen Medicaid protections, to permanently extend middle class tax cuts, for enhanced small business tax relief, and for historic investments in our border security and our military," he added/ "However, it was the Senate's amendments to Medicaid, in addition to several other Senate provisions, that altered the analysis for our PA-1 community. The original House language was written in a way that protected our community; the Senate amendments fell short of our standard." When the bill was sent to the House, a handful of Republicans threatened to withhold their votes over budget and Medicaid concerns. But no one believed them. They were always going to cave, abandon their stated principles and follow Trump’s orders, and they did. Trump, after all, had said that he wanted the bill passed in time for the Fourth of July; it passed on the third. He says jump, and the Congress asks: How high? Trump megabill gives the oil industry everything it wants and ends key support for solar and wind The president’s embrace of fossil fuels and hostility to renewable energy are reflected in his signature domestic policy law. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/energy/trump-megabill-gives-oil-industry-everything-wants-ends-key-support-so-rcna216777
  5. Another one I'm done with.... Go play with someone else.
  6. Done with you loser....
  7. Ask your congress persons who pushed back because of cuts to healthcare why their opinion is that. The environmental impact is clear....tax cuts to clean energy will curtail investment and slow progress. Opening federal land and water for fossil fuel energy will increase activity.
  8. Far from absurd... It's what real leaders do.
  9. lol... 👍 I thought unifying was overrated and not something for political parties?
  10. Make sure your helmet is done up properly before going outside....
  11. Try using a word that's in the English language.
  12. The comment was 'investments".... You're not capable of digesting anything except for what your little mind chooses. China leads the global cleantech race While many of the world’s biggest GHG emitters are among the leading markets for cleantech investment, China is by far the largest country for funding. In 2024, the world’s biggest carbon polluter invested almost 820 billion U.S. dollars in energy transition technologies, accounting for 40 percent of the global total. Additionally, China accounted for nearly 90 percent of the global investment in factories for manufacturing energy transition-related equipment between 2020 and 2024. Surging investments have seen China become the undisputed leader in the cleantech race, with the country dominating global cleantech manufacturing capacities across the majority of segments, particularly for solar PV components.
  13. Which is the WH's obviously bias view. Interesting that so many others disagree with this bill.
  14. The link of the bill simply lists its details, not impacts of. And yes, opinions of persons who are charged with delving into the bills details and likely outcomes. Cutting $930B from healthcare funding will undoubtably have an impact on many. No different than cutting clean energy tax credits is going to have a negative affect on the environment. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/07/03/opinion/domestic-policy-bill-in-charts.html
  15. No, it's the opinions from a number of different public policy institutes. Their comments are self-explanatory to the effect some of the policy changes will have.
  16. Your thinking process is improving.... putting 9 words together is an achievement for you. I should have made the comment plural.....
  17. Look at link I posted and/or use google....
  18. If you don't believe that taking health insurance away from millions, cutting rural hospital funding, disregarding the environment and adding to an already significant $36T debt can't or won't be devastating for many in the short or long term you're missing it. 'Amusing' in that I'm shaking my head at the nonsense... Also mentioned before, I don't have Trump Deification Syndrome.
  19. Think twice, type once.... Look up what the word 'investments' means
  20. Nobody except those that voted against the bill and those affected by it.... Being Canadian none make me cry, but find it amusing to think that taking away from healthcare, environmental protection and adding ~$3.5T to the national debt over the course of the bill is good for the country.
  21. You'll have bigger problems than immigration with this big stupid bill.... Cuts to medicare, funding for rural hospitals, food assistance for children, and tax credits for clean energy investments is going to bite the US a lot more than Trump's ICE show. https://www.commondreams.org/news/progressives-reaction-trump-gop-big-ugly-bill
