Trump announces 35% tariffs on Canada starting Aug. 1

Your foolishness is becoming comical.... Congrats on figuring out that private sector defined retirement benefits are not part of government pensions. Well done 👍 What is a global pension? Sounds interesting....I never paid into any global pension fund but am I still entitled to this...whatever it is? -

You've died and are buried for all intents and purposes. That's the US (2019 to boot), which has what to do with Canada? -

Absolutely ridiculous....even for you. Pensions account for 66% of the federal budget - f*ck is that a stupid comment! Maybe try around 19%. Inflation and population growth...WTF are you talking about? They are not connected whatsoever. Your trolling has lost any and all credibility. This is like talking to the grade 9 student who went to his first economics class and now thinks he's solved the national debt. Back to trolling school 101 for you 👉 -

Actually numbers do lie if used incorrectly.... First tariffs on steel went into effect Oct/24, so call it 9 months ago. A graph from 2020 to present is for....what? Secondly like all imported goods that are also produced domestically, when consumption outpaces production, you import more. That's why the US imports ~25% of their steel needed and ~50% of aluminum needed. You'll be paying for those tariffs, fyi. Lastly, it's a 50% global tariff (ex UK), not 35% Said it earlier but if you're going to troll, at least try to do it well.... -

Correct. You speak sh*t... Again this would involve reading. Try it to see how much fentanyl is coming from the Northern Border. As you're reading you'll also find that there are far more drugs (and guns) flowing into our country from the US. Please ask your drug and gun dealers to ease up... But yes, ultimately you the uneducated trolling Maga will pay any tariff that your orange wonder applies. -

If you're going to troll, at least try be a somewhat educated one.... You do understand that the importer pays the tariff, don't you? The importer will then pass the cost onto you, the consumer. Again, try to educate yourself before trolling. The 35% applies to good outside the USMCA agreement.... -

Neither stable or genius applies to Trump, in any fashion. He'd have a difficult time with checkers, let alone chess of any level. As you sip your daily orange Kool-aide, the business and investment communities would disagree this is a 'feature'. In nobody's world is instabilty good. -

That's Maga logic... Beside immigration, wasn't the core message during the election was that the cost of living is too high (all Biden's fault) and the mandate given to Trump was to address affordability? Too funny, now inflation is cool because it's going to be Trump inflation. Your manufacturing isn't coming back.... unemployment has generally been in the 4% range which says the US has moved on. -
