Not my definition, dude. It's from The Urban Dictionary, so it must be true, right? I can agree with that. -

Your posts would be 90% shorter and still 100% ridiculous if you didn't say left4rd ever second word. From the Urban dictionary: Right wingnut: Someone in the blogosphere who is identified as being politically on the right. Usually a f*cktard. "The right wingnuts at Little Green Footballs are going nuts over Bush's TANG memos." You need a better source to cite. -

I do. But if you're denying that we've had had 80 years of peace and prosperity then you're incredibly naive or willfully ignorant. -

"It has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except all those other forms..." Winston Churchill. Our form of democracy has served us well over the decades. -

Higher education? The top 8 states with people holding graduate degrees are all north eastern states. Had a short visit to NYC many years ago. Very friendly people. -
I don't need you to tell me what I think. I'm married!

Yeah, as I thought, no citations or definitions. One dumbass saying something once doesn't make it part of the English language. If it did, every mispronunciation and written mistake would be a word. Kovfefe! Merriam-Webster: "English includes other portmanteaus, such as brunch (breakfast and lunch) and dramedy (drama and comedy). Following Carroll's lead, English speakers have come to call these fairly common words by the not-so-common name for a type of traveling bag with two compartments." Fairly Common! Understand? If in a year or two, we start shearing oddfuscation being used a lot, it will be a portmanteau. But don't hold your breath. -

And you're a Dumbecile, a cross between Dumbass and an Imbecile. I knew what a portmanteau word was before you crawled out from under the rock you were hatched under. Now , want to try again with a dictionary citation of oddfuscation or use it in a sentence? I know you have problems with whole sentences, so ask your older sister to help with your homework. We can all make words up. That doesn't make them part of the English language. And stop trying to be clever. You come out looking stupid every time. -

Really? Can you give us a dictionary citation? Use it in a sentence? Wow us with your Advanced English! -
Maybe not but at least they're moving in the right direction. https://www.climatecouncil.org.au Wondering how the world’s largest carbon emitter can also be a leader in renewable energy? It may seem counter-intuitive, but China is the global renewable energy leader hosting nearly half of the world’s total operating wind and solar capacity. China is on track to double its utility-scale solar and wind power capacity, shattering the central government’s ambitious 2030 target of 1,200 GW five years ahead of schedule. They’re also the biggest investor in renewable energy worldwide, where nearly half of the world’s low-carbon spending took place in China in 2022 (US$546 billion). So are the Saudis: https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/03/business/saudi-arabia-electric-vehicles-eviq-hnk-spc It (Saudi Arabia) wants 30% of the cars in its capital Riyadh to be electric by 2030. But Saudi isn’t just adopting EVs, it’s “building an entire industrial ecosystem” around them, said Seitz. The country is embracing “eMobility as a strategic lever to decarbonize, diversify its economy, and localize manufacturing at scale.” While Trump wants to go backward.... Nobody said a carbon tax alone would mitigate climate change. Just one tool among many. And nobody said anything would happen within 10 years. That's just you straw man. Remember the ozone hole. It's still there but: unep.org The UN-backed Scientific Assessment Panel to the Montreal Protocol on Ozone Depleting Substances quadrennial assessment report, published every four years, confirms the phase out of nearly 99% of banned ozone-depleting substances. The Montreal Protocol has thus succeeded in safeguarding the ozone layer, leading to notable recovery of the ozone layer in the upper stratosphere and decreased human exposure to harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. If current policies remain in place, the ozone layer is expected to recover to 1980 values (before the appearance of the ozone hole) by around 2066 over the Antarctic, by 2045 over the Arctic and by 2040 for the rest of the world. These corrections will take decades but they can be achieved.

Yes but at the same time: https://www.climatecouncil.org.au "Wondering how the world’s largest carbon emitter can also be a leader in renewable energy? Ay least they recognize the problem and are moving in the right direction, unlike the US who are proudly marching backwards to the 1950's. We will be if we don't do something. Taxing carbon emissions is just one tool in the box. But it will take international cooperation. The problem took many decades to evolve and will take decades to solve, but it can be done. (Without you and the rest of your backward looking tribe.)

And now Trump the "Great Dealmaker' admits he can't make deals and is just going to "send letters" to countries telling them what tariffs they're going to pay. He routinely breaks his own deals anyway, so why bother with him. I'd be tempted to just sit back and let things work out as they will. Inflation, mid-terms, Trump's dropping polls... And no matter what concessions you give the guy, he's a gangster and extortionist who will just want more. It's gonna' hurt us (and others) but not much we can do other than fix our own problems and try to expand trade with other countries.
