Trump is not mentally well

if you can't see that that list indicates an unstable mind, then nothing I add to it will convince you. -
MAGA is goo-goo-ga-ga for spectacle
Radiorum replied to Radiorum's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
That just tells me he knew of the contents of Project 2025 while insisting he knew nothing about it. Trump will do anything in order to win. Whatever policy he adopts, it is not from a position of principle, but only as a means to an end. This is kind of a characteristic of the Republican party, who are known for their hypocrisy. So many of the current Trump sycophants once harshly criticized him. This is absurd. -

I never said he did the work. Of course, he didn't do the work. But a simple look at the Project 2025 Tracker website will show you how closely he is implementing it. No, they are specific objectives that have been reached. The con was insisting he had nothing to do with Project 2025 to get elected and then closely implementing the 2025 objectives once in. If you fail to realize how closely the Heritage Foundation (the creators of Project 2025) is working with and influencing the Trump Administration, you are woefully uninformed. The Heritage Foundation even presumes to speak for Trump. When Republicans in the Indiana Senate torpedoed a bill designed to eliminate the state’s two remaining Democratic districts in Indiana’s nine-seat map, it was the Heritage Foundation that issued a cryptic warning: “President Trump has made it clear to Indiana leaders: if the Indiana Senate fails to pass the map, all federal funding will be stripped from the state,” Heritage’s X account posted. “Roads will not be paved. Guard bases will close. Major projects will stop. These are the stakes and every NO vote will be to blame.” While the president had threatened recalcitrant Republicans with primary challenges, imperiling federal funding was not something the White House had publicly said was on the table. https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/indiana-lt-gov-confirms-trump-051823610.html -

Well, the fact that he rage posted 160 posts in 5 hours is kinda proof enough that he is unhinged. Here's a list of indicators of his unstable mind: Makes major statements or threats impulsively (e.g., on social media). Shifts positions abruptly. Responds to perceived slights with disproportionate anger. Repeating claims that courts, allies, and his own officials debunked. Making assertions contradicted by readily available evidence. Describing events in ways that sharply diverge from documented reality. Repeated boasts about being the “best” or “greatest” at various things. Claiming achievements disproven by facts. Persistent framing of criticism as persecution. Jumps between unrelated ideas mid-sentence. Confuses names, places, and timelines. Appears unable to complete thoughts clearly. Unpredictable Easily influenced and manipulated by flattery Prone to rage episodes Resistant to briefings or detailed information Blaming others for failures Refusing to acknowledge errors Portraying himself as the victim of conspiracies -

The fact that you don't know that I do is very telling about you. The Trump Administration claims that 1.6 million have self-deported. Where did you get your figure? There were a lot of things cut, and it was not to cut waste, fraud and abuse but to implement the ideology of the Trump administration. Trump did not end 9 wars. Please, do not believe the Trump administration. They lie. They misrepresent most things they do. How so? Can you put it into words? -

I have posted fact after fact and all I get in return is gaslighting. I have never posted a "rumour." No, I am not indifferent. I love the USA and it pains me to see this horrible path that they are on. All because of the crooked ambitions of one man. And it pains me that he has fooled so many of you. I already posted her senate ad, I encourage you to watch it. It's a message to Trump. Here's a video of her best moments in House Committee Hearings -
The world does not feel welcome in the USA, and they are staying away. Tourism to the USA is cratering. What does the rest of the world know that the US doesn’t? 20.4 million Canadians visited the U.S. in 2024. But the 2025 numbers are dismal. Nearly half of Canadians said they canceled or delayed U.S. trips specifically because of Trump’s America. According to reporting: Border car crossings: down 37% year-over-year. Flights: down 26%. Bookings: down as much as 40% earlier in the year. And now the DHS has proposed a new rule that would require all tourists visiting the US to share the past five years of their activity on social media, as well as their contacts - names and phone numbers. I will stay away, thanks.

I know it is really hard for MAGA to understand. I think it is because of projection. They operate from a place of hate, and think everyone is like them. But I can honestly say I do not hate. But I also do not hide from the truth. I don't even know what my MP has accomplished. That's not the point. The point is that she is a player in the fight. I've seen enough videos of her to know she's got it going on. -

You're describing yourself. I'll ask you one more time. How does it help the country if oversight with cryptocurrency is weakened and the office tasked with consumer protection is eliminated? With this, I have to believe that you just didn't understand what I posted. I have given you a solid argument, but I am not obliged to give you an understanding. Comprehension is your responsibility. I urge you to broaden your horizons to find out what is really going on. -

Only with MAGA could a self-absorbed, amoral, self-dealing, misogynistic, xenophobic, kleptocratic, criminal, authoritarian, egomaniacal, pathological liar who is also a sexual predator score more points than a savvy and intelligent young woman because they don't like her voice. Or is it because she is Black? Or is it because she is a woman and when she threatens Trump's masculinity, you feel yours is threatened, too? -

This is what we call blind faith - most often a characteristic of being in a cult. That is because so much of what Trump is doing cannot be justified as "in the best interests of the country." This thread is not about Obama. That post was made to make the point that Trump is a con man since just before the election he insisted he had nothing to do with Project 2025, but after inauguration Project 2025 became the guide for everything Trump as done. Are the objectives I listed not good for the country? Read them. They are self-explanatory. You can't make the argument, for example, that - "It would be good if we had no oversight with cryptocurrency and no consumer protection." -

That's not the challenge I put to you. You said the objectives were beneficial for the country. I gave you a selection of the objectives and asked you to explain how those particular objectives were beneficial to the country. Massive whataboutism. -

She says that there are more white supremacist criminals than immigrant criminals and maybe they should be deported. It's a brilliant rebuttal. -

I've never been a Trudeau supporter. So stop making stupid assumptions. In my list upthread of the selection of Project 2025 objectives that the trump admin has implemented or are working on, please for each one explain to me how they benefit the country. -

He is following it faithfully. Do you think he is really interested in governing? His only interest is self-aggrandizement. With Project 2025, he has all the work done for him, leaving him to work on his own interests. The point is that Trump is a con since he said he had nothing to do with then turns around and has everything to do with it. As for the objectives themselves - are you familiar with them? Do you know what any of those 2025 objectives are? Listed below is a random selection of Project 2025 objectives - that are either completed or are in progress. For each one, explain to me why “they had to be done.” Here they are - Repeal energy efficiency standards for appliances. Reduce regulations on cryptocurrencies. Eliminate the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. Eliminate the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman. Rescind USAID policies that address climate change and help countries transition away from fossil fuels. Dismantle USAGM's journalism "firewall" to align its reporting with the aims of the president. Eliminate the Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights. Dismiss "the entirety" of the CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee. Pursue the death penalty for all applicable crimes. Prohibit the U.S. government from combating the spread of misinformation and disinformation. Weaken regulations on baby formula. Require all schools that receive federal funding to give students the military entrance test. Let companies stop paying overtime and allow states to opt out of federal overtime and minimum wage laws. Repeal the Corporate Transparency Act. Reinstate Trump's limitations on the Endangered Species Act's definition of critical habitat. Remove all unions in the Dept. of Homeland Security. Weaken federal employee unions. Eliminate the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Ban mixed-status families (U.S. citizens and noncitizens) from living in all federally assisted housing. Abolish the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. "fully commercialize" the National Weather Service. Eliminate the GEAR-UP program (provides low-income middle and high school students with academic assistance). -

One of his biggest cons was insisting before the election he had nothing to do with Project 2025. In the video clip below, he is saying it: "I have nothing to do with Project 2025" But since his inauguration, Project 2025 has become the guiding light of his administration. Some of his executive orders use the very language of Project 2025. According to the Project 2025 Tracker, the Trump Administration has implemented 319 objectives laid out in Project 2025, affecting 34 different agencies. For example, here are the last three objectives completed: Eliminate the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. Eliminate the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy or reduce its funding. Eliminate the Office of Grid Deployment. -

This is so condescending. It reminds me of the 19th century diagnosis of "female hysteria" - a catchall phrase for women daring to express themselves in passionate terms. And so while people sound the alarm about the very grave danger that Trump is foisting upon the USA, they are termed "hysterical" - it's only their hatred and anger speaking - rather than validating their very real concerns. You sir, have something in common with the misogynists of the 19th century. -
I honestly want to understand why you won't accept the truth of what is going on? I want to understand why there is no room in your brain for anything other than "illegal immigration." There is such a great amount of evidence indicating that Trump is harming the USA in so many ways, but you blithely refute it all, as if whatever problem illegal immigration poses can only be solved by Trump's corruption. Your massive denial of what Trump is doing to the USA indicates a sort of cowardice - afraid to face the truth.
