  1. I did not try to rationalize anything. I am just taking a stab at how I think this went wrong. I literally said: "There was a failure somewhere there." "but I have no idea what their policies are... but whatever they were, clearly they need reviewed. " I also earlier clearly said: "The Secret Service is going to have to do a lot of soul searching because the entire point of their existence today, was almost a catastrophic failure by a matter of mere inches. "
  2. Oh, I agree 100%. There was a failure somewhere there. My best guess is the communications and idiocy. I imagine it went like this: -People start telling police someone climbed on the roof -Police likely don't react as if it was a deadly threat, meander over to investigate -People start yelling about a guy with a gun on the roof -Police are still going to investigate, no one bothers to communicate the possible threat over communication channels OR -Communication channels are too bureaucratic, police have no direct comms to Agents, there is some buffer somewhere or HQ where the information is relayed to and through stupidity or gross incompetence or just bad timing, no one relays the message to agents. OR -Information does make it to the agents, someone made bad decision to continue investigations, which is maybe why the counter sniper was already on target investigating, all out of an abundance of not wanting to over react and get Trump off stage... Although, if they did know someone was up there and were investigating, the agents still could have moved into a better position to flank Trump on the side of the stage while letting him continue to speak they could have formed a wall on that side facing the threat of what they were investigating... but I have no idea what their policies are... but whatever they were, clearly they need reviewed.
  3. BOOM! Just read this myself. The left is going to be full on melt down today. God Bless Clarence Thomas for pointing that out in his SCOTUS opinion on the immunity decision.
  4. I have also heard reports that some of the folks on the detail that day were not real SS. They were DHS officers filling in gaps. So, not sure on who/how many were not really SS officers that were in suits that day. I am sure we will keep learning more... but even then, being on a protective detail is often a BIG deal. Folks volunteer for that stuff, so even if DHS officers... the question is why are they not sending the best? DEI
  5. I can believe that they coordinate with local law enforcement... BUT, that does not abdicate their responsibility. They should have someone on the SS that is overseeing these things, setting standards and expectations, and following up on them. If LEO was not doing the job SS expected, someone from SS should have been overseeing them. That also doesn't explain the communications gap, that people were screaming to local police about the guy being on the roof with a gun... why were local police not able to communicate that to the SS? I have seen the video you mention. Yes, from the reports I have seen, that counter sniper likely did have the shooter in his sights, but it was likely a mix of 2 things: policy stating they can't shoot someone first and not knowing for sure what the guy was doing up there. This explains why the counter sniper was able to engage so quickly; he looked like he was surprised someone was up there and not sure until the shots were fired, then he reacted to neutralize the shooter.
  6. He sure bragged about it though. Trying to brag that they struck back at ISIS-K after they killed our men at the airport days earlier. But I guess once they figured out it was an innocent man and a bunch of innocent children... the buck no longer stops with Biden. He was good enough to brag about it, but not his fault once they figured out they messed up. Yeah right. Now keep hiding coward.
  7. The man survives an assassination attempt and you guy are so far gone from any care to be honest in this world that you turn this into a claim that he is calling people to arms... You are not serious people. You are not honest people.
  8. The BLM summer of violence. More dead. More damage. More Police harmed and killed. All "incited" by Democrats and the political left.
  9. What a cowardly person you are.
  10. Only half of Americans polled claim to have tried it.
  11. If they were not legal... how would they have succeeded? No, you didn't. I asked you to explain how this would play out to that it would have worked. You didn't offer anything other than their plan. What damage would have been done? The moment Pence tried to do anything, it would have been instantly fought over. Yet, you just presume it would have worked, until I challenged you... now you are trying to have it both ways and still have not actually explained how this would have ended our Republic. Of course there is a process. You think that just because Trump declares himself to be King, that he becomes one? You really have no intelligent thoughts here at all. None what-so-ever. You just mindlessly parrot the talking point.
  12. As I figured, you had not given this much thought at all. Perhaps you should read the memo, particularly the last section. Lots of legal presumptions there and legal theories there, they are presuming go their way. So... you didn't answer my question at all. Or, are you admitting that their legal theories outlined in the memo, their presumptions, are all 100% perfectly Constitutional and would have played out in their favor?
  13. Do you guys practice coming up with such dumb crap to say? How exactly was he a Republican beyond we know he was registered as one. Many people register for parties as a means to do little more than vote in the others primary or do so and don't really support the party at all, but use it as a means to elect someone because in some places you can't get elected as a D or an R. So the primary often ends up being more of a far left vs center left or far right vs center right kind of campaign. The question is... who did he support and what were his positions on things. You are doing nothing more than trying to score some cheap points on a political forum with this nonsense right now. Another completely BS load of crap. Sometimes, you guys come up with new ways to push me to the limit of how much stupidity I can absorb. Congratulations.
  14. Eh, there might be some politics going on with how much protection he was allocated, but that doesn't make up for the DEI crap, the communications failures with how a credible threat was reported, how with the resources they had on hand already none were covering a building like that, that the sniper who did see it seemed to be in disbelief long enough for the guy to get shots off before responding to take him out...
  15. This is, without a doubt, beyond ignorant. But hey, lets see if you have really thought this through. I don't need a huge thesis here, just spell it out in an outline format the big picture of how that would have played out exactly. Give me some bullet points.
  16. Oh, I agree with the sentiment, but experience tells me conspiracies of that magnitude are highly improbable; idiocy is almost always the right answer. We had signs around Iraq on base, they said: "Complacency Kills" Most days nothing happened. Most days were normal. Most days were boring. We don't train for most days though, we train for the days that are not normal, where we must be exceptional. Lives depend on it. No... there was no conspiracy here. It was just complacency compiled with stupidity of policies like DEI. The Secret Service is going to have to do a lot of soul searching because the entire point of their existence today, was almost a catastrophic failure by a matter of mere inches.
  17. Give us the actual quote liar. That is not what he said.
  18. Please, tell me you don't really believe this garbage? There is no way. It is just a stupid, exaggerated, fear-mongering talking point.
  19. Holy crap, you are on here OK with the assassination of Trump. You are a sick disturbed individual. I hope you get help.
  20. That is because you don't understand physics or firearms. If a bullet grazes you, most of that energy remains in the bullet as it flys by. It is perfectly possible and reasonable that a bullet can hit someone in the ear like that and not completely tear it off. A bullet from ar AR-15 is traveling at some 3,000 feet per second give or take. These rounds pierce flesh, unless they start tumbling which allows them to transfer more of their energy into flesh. Obviously not much to tumble on through an ear. There is also this photo claimed by the photographer and reported on as being the image of the bullet caught traveling past his head... But what a stupid triviality to get hung up on, as if it were glass that somehow makes all this better?
  21. OMG, are you still pushing this lie? No police officers died on January 6th (the riot at the capitol). None. Zero. Not one. This is why you have me on ignore. Because you push these lies and I repeatedly call you out for them.
  22. That is why he the others that make these dumb arguments have run away from every other thread they were made in and they just keep repeating them.
  23. Your claim is just mindless parroting of others. I am asking you. YOU, show me what Trump said about being a dictator. Quote him, show me the time he said it, then make your case for how he was literally talking about being a dictator. I asked Robo to do this, he melted down and put me on ignore. Lets see if you are any better.
  24. You did not refute anything. You proved that you are just going to move on from one claim to the next, throwing mud at the wall. The fact that some folks other than those on the left say the same crap doesn't refute that those on the left are saying the crap. I did not ignore it, I am just tired of folks like you acting like a game of whack a mole. You pop up one disingenuous BS claim, then when it is whacked, you move on to the next.
