All individuals are demonstrably greater than God.
User replied to French Patriot's topic in Religion & Politics
If you wanted my definition, you should have asked. I am not a mind reader. You still didn't explain what "god" you are talking about though. -
No, don't you see, I have a life and I am super busy... curing cancer, solving world hunger, down at the orphanage kissing babies and handing out my hand made blankets for the little kids so they are not cold at night. If any of this crap is true, and it certainly looks like it, this guy needs to go away and drop out. If it is not true, he certainly owes us a lot more of a response defending himself and explaining this. As far as to what he has said... this is all crap from years ago, no? From some porn forum? I take that as serious as half the crap all the anonymous id10ts on here post. He certainly is not acting like that anywhere in the real world for me to be overly concerned about it. If you paid half attention to anything I post on here, I have no qualms calling it like it is and have routinely criticized Trump and others. As to Matt Gaetz, that article is just a retread of what we already know... OMG, he was at a party?! *GASP* No! I think the dude is a world class id10t and a lousy politician and does more to harm GOP causes than help with his extreme antics. I would just as soon see him slink off into obscurity as well.

You are on here begging someone to respond, trying to goad them into it... but yeah, sure, now you got a big life and are too busy. Its the same dumb dishonest schtick other liberals on here play... you have all the time in the world for your typical nonsense, but once someone calls you out and corrects the nonsense you are spewing on here, then you don't have any time.

I have lost track of how many threads you have run away from now... Hodad is a coward that blocked me, Black Dog isn't much better at this point in cowardly running away... But yeah, sure, talk about not having any balls. You certainly are the expert at that and in good company here already.

You might as well go talk to yourself in notepad at this point.

You have not even defined what you are talking about, I have nothing to be an apologist for here. -
LOL, so you spend all this time pretending time only started when Republicans extended what Democrats had already done, ignoring what Democrats already did... just to turn around and say they should have done more! There is not a face palm or eye roll emoji big enough for me right now... he said screaming into the void...

What "god" are you talking about here? There are several major world religions and many more smaller ones. Some of them even believe in more than one god. -
"the fillibuster" What fillibuster? In 2017 Republicans got rid of the SCOTUS exception to what the Democrats already did in 2013 for all other non-SCOTUS judges. It is not non-sense to point out this is the escalation started by Democrats. Democrats don't get to launch the nuclear option in 2013 and then act surprised with Republicans retaliated for it.

Because you are the one on here arguing against this because they were not sure. Of course I am saying they can't be sure... because it isn't my argument that they should not have done this because of that. Refute it? I have pointed out several times now, just as I did this time, why it is a dumb comparison. Oh, you must have missed this, let me copy and paste: " Yes, you gave this horrible example... as what they did is nothing like carpet bombing a neighborhood. This was a targetted strike against members of Hezbollah. What you want and advocate for is a full scale war, that would result in actual bombing of buildings killing far more innocent civilians. Lets see... what is more precise? Lets send in jets to drop 2,000 pound bombs leveling buildings and military infrastructure resulting in thousands of civilian deaths ongoing deaths... OR Lets put very small bombs in the literal hands of the enemy combatants being targetted and blow them up... resulting in some much smaller collateral damage to civilians and even far fewer deaths of any civilians. Meanwhile, you are over here comparing that to carpet bombing. Childish doesn't even begin to sum up the level of arguments you are using. " They were not targeting civilians. They were targeting Hezbollah. What is this, some kind of voodoo logic? You are here clearly advocating that they must declare war instead of doing this targeted strike. You just did again, right now. They were not targeting civilians. They were targeting Hezbollah. You are on here balking at calling a terrorist organization a terrorist organization, trying to claim these are civilians. If you don't want to be accused of defending them... don't defend them. Well, right now, you are not proving to be much better. Is this the part where you tell me you are not advocating for war over a targeted strike again? Casualties to what extent? Barely hurting some civilians while seriously harming the terrorist thugs of Hezbollah is a clear win. You are the one saying instead of some small explosions causing some minimal harm to civilians Israel should be dropping 2,000 pound bombs all over Lebanon in a full scale war killing a lot more innocent people. My head is on straight. You want more people dead and suffering. I want less.

Nothing Bullshit about it. Democrats used the nuclear option to kill the filibuster for non-SCOTUS judges and executive cabinet picks back in 2013, and Republicans warned them they would regret it. So... guess what? They did. I lived through this. It is all well documented. Do you need me to go get the news stories covering all this?

Just as we seen with many other so-called leaders, many of them all Democrats, they forced and supported these lock down procedures on their people while they ignored them. NYC COVID adviser brags in secret recording about drug-fueled sex parties mid-pandemic: ‘Had to be sneaky’ https://nypost.com/2024/09/19/us-news/nyc-covid-adviser-brags-in-secret-recording-about-drug-fueled-sex-parties-mid-pandemic-had-to-be-sneaky/ "“I had to be kind of sneaky about it … because I was running the entire COVID response in the city,” Varma was filmed telling the unidentified woman on Aug. 1 in what appears to be a restaurant."

This is a contradiction. You are not perfect if you sin... This is a gobbledygook. Reality is reality, there is no evolving of it or a perfection of it. It just is.
-
Your constantly quoting yourself doesn't contribute anything to this discussion or your assertion about sin.
-
People sin for any number of reasons, but as I pointed out in my other response, your comment here was that it was necessary, not that humanity can't avoid it because they are not perfect. There is a huge difference between those two positions.
-
You are conflating not being perfect with your call to have to sin to survive. Stumbling on your journey doesn't mean you have to stumble to journey somewhere.
-
You have repeatedly used language saying they can't be sure... Yes, you gave this horrible example... as what they did is nothing like carpet bombing a neighborhood. Well, this is starting to make more sense now... you don't even think they are a terrorist organization and are going to argue about that. Clearly you are just upset that this was such a massively effective operation at targeting Hezbollah, who you are defending. Meanwhile, while Israel is engaged in such a strategic precision strike, the folks you are defending are lobbing rockets indiscriminately and randomly into Isreal at such frequency they had to evacuate almost a hundred thousand people and they are still blowing up kids outside playing... THAT is random and indiscriminate, the people you are defending are doing that.

No one pushed Russia to do anything.Russia chose this war all on their own.

The vote at the convention was ceremonial. The day after Biden dropped out, they changed the rules and remote voted in like a week. Any challengers had 1 week to try to secure enough delegates to even be considered. They changed the rules to rush a Harris nomination through before the convention so there wouldn't be any division or distractions by anyone being able to mount a challenge in time.

No one wanted war. Russia was the one that pushed all of this. They invaded Crimea and took advantage of the chaos in the Ukraine government. Then Russia coordinated the Donbas take over, backed a proxy war, and outright sent in Russian troops, and then Russia launched a full scale invasion. Every step of the way it has been Russia pushing this. The west would have been just fine with no war.
