Yes, the vaccines significantly mitigated risk of death. They do that alone as they strengthen the bodies immune system to combat the virus.

It’s a figure of speech relating to not just this one study but the issue in totality. Go back 5-10 years ago and this stuff was mainly under the radar quietly being done until it started to become more well known once we seen the repercussions of children being butchered, girls losing their places in sports, women having to deal with men in their spaces… Folks like you and @Michael Hardner had all the time in the world for it back then and still do when it comes to pushing this… but when this study, anything really, comes up that opposes this madness… it’s oh wow, why are you even talking about this? You are conflating government mask policy with the vaccine. You are conflating your issues with masks and mask policy with the vaccine. Regardless of if you were vaccinated or not, that was the government policy regarding masks. So… you think staying in your basement forever is better than vaccinating? That is absurd on its face, especially as you decry mask policy…

It was still much more effective at preventing death and severe illness.
