    What do you mean "legal" claim? This is not some court of law. It was a civil war that never officially ended, with one side retreating to Taiwan, where they have ruled ever since. A grand bargain can be struck between whom and under what circumstance can Taiwan be "given" to China without a fight without Taiwan choosing to do that? They have been cranking out hypersonic anti-ship missiles.

    You can choose not to import many people; those you do import should be vetted. Don't let people in with ties to ISIS or who have shown support for terrorism or those causes... stop or severely limit immigration from known hostile states with a lot of terrorism or higher risk of it... don't stop monitoring people who were initially considered a concern... The authorities had these two on their radar from 2019... and then dismissed them... then they went to the Philippines, where they likely got training with terrorists.
