America Dropped the ball with Trump
gatomontes99 replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
What? No link? Nope. The link would have shown you to be a liar. Trump never ordered Session to open an investigation. Sessions did query whether reopening what Comey closed was worth while. It was determined it wasn't. /endstory https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/24/us/politics/jeff-sessions-hillary-clinton-donald-trump.html -
When you pick people because they do a good job, their plumbing and melanin content are not relevant. Wiles is the first woman to hold the position because Trump appreciated her work on the campaign. So she's the first, so what? She was the right person for the job. Pointing out no woman has ever done it before only serves to further divide men and women. Just let be what is.

No. I've watched both sides of the arguments and I know what the facts are. They challenged the election. That happens. Gore did it on 2000. Kennedy did it in Hawaii and won. The problem they had was that they were chasing bad voters after the tally. They should have been doing what they did this year and challenging the votes before they are counted. That way the judge had a remedy. There was no remedy to ballots that have been deidentified and counted. I didn't lie about anything. You made this ridiculous argument that because Trump didn't do Hitler like things in his first term and Hitler didn't either, so Trump could still be like Hitler. The stewpidity of that argument is that every politician in the US did nothing like Hitler in their first term. Further, Trump did so many things that Hitler would never do. He appointed judges that took power away from the federal government. He reduced regulations. He cut taxes. He made it a policy to not use the military in foreign countries. So, yes, I boiled down the ridiculousness of your argument to its core statements. The fact that you call it a lie and would ignore me for pointing out the logical flaws in the argument speaks to your inability to form a coherent, consistent and cohesive argument as well as your inability to accept your own mistakes.

This has the earmarked of ANTIFA. I'd put a lot of money that ANTIFA, or some liberal organization, is trying to make the point that Trump is racist and sent these messages because that proves everything....in their mind.

It does highlight the difference between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives are about logic, where as liberals are about emotion. -

Manchin will support a justice nominated by Joe. Manchin doesn't want an imbalance of power. He wouldn't support a push to let Trump take another seat. -
How we should govern

This is what I was talking about. They will just take their pis$ poor tactics and keep applying them only louder and more crazy. You do understand that the deportation will start with those that break the law? -
How we should govern

Well, yes, it would have to be an amendment. However, you can't do post hoc law changes and apply those changes to people that followed the law. If an amendment was proposed, it would only apply to births after ratification date.
