https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2022/10/10/realclearpolitics-makes-electrifying-prediction-as-to-who-will-win-the-senate-n640743 We KNOW the Republicans are going to take that gavel from Nazi Pelosi in the House. Looks like there should be enough red Senate votes to remove Biden from office, once Speaker McCarthy leads his impeachment in the House.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/u-s-appeals-court-grants-injunction-temporary-blocking-bidens-student-loan-handout US appeals court temporarily blocks Biden's student loan handout The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with several Republican-led states For those here who do not understand this process... 1. Either private lenders or the Federal Government provides Student Loan (which personally, I would do away with in a New York minute, since all they do is make price gouging colleges rich and bid up the cost of tuition.) 2. The student has to pay that money back, maybe at graduation, certainly when the bill is due, even if the kid does not graduate. 3. Cancelling the loan means telling the lenders they will not be getting their money back. (And along those lines, the money lenders start using more aggressive underwriting techniques to limit loans to students who are honest enough to pay them back.) 4. Unelected Joe did NOT cancel those loans. He decided to use TAXPAYER MONEY (which has been borrowed so much that the taxpayers who will be funding this thing haven't been born yet) to pay those lenders back. He did this to buy votes from more idiots. 5. The 8th US Circuit Court Of Appeals has decided to block this egregious attempt to buy votes. Government paying off student loans is welfare to the rich.

It's official. If you STILL support Biden and the Democrats, you're stupid.

I still look to Ted Cruz for the whole shebang. Either that or Trump nominate Cruz to the Supreme Court. Of course, Cruz could serve two years as VP and then be appointed to the Supreme Court. Thing is, DeSantis wouldn't be able to step in to the VP spot. It would be according to succession, which would mean the Speaker Of the House.
-
DeSantis can finish out his second term by 2026. Trump will be halfway through his very successful second term and will be laying the groundwork for DeSantis to take over. In the process, MORE Democrats will lose their seats in Congress DeSantis will be taking over at a very good time and his policies can only make things a lot better. Remember, Florida's budget is in a surplus and we have no state income tax. DeSantis might be able to do this for America.
-
There's NO WAY Floridians want our amazing governor to go ANYWHERE before he serves his second term. Yes, he would be the perfect running mate for Trump and would easily slide into the presidency for eight years. And he would continue the Trump success. Frankly, I'd like to see a Trump/Cruz ticket. That combination would win in a landslide and really piss off the entitled, triggered Woke idiots.

Excuse me, a GOVERNMENT source? Are you STUPID? Humans CANNOT change the climate of a planet
reason10 replied to reason10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It is actually enviroFASCISM to imagine the lies you are spewing. America has passed the laws that gave us cleaner water and cleaner air. Of course, the DIRTIEST air in this country would be the smog over the BLUE STATE LOS ANGELES. As far as changing planetary environment, not possible. I would say read some science, but you probably didn't get far enough in the elementary grades to even learn how to SPELL science. And apparently you've never seen an actual GLOBE either. This is not a science issue. It is a political issue, and dim bulbs like you latch on to whatever whacko Facist crap that comes your way without having any idea what you're talking about. You are a sad, insane KAREN. And you need to get out of people's faces with that crap. Mind your own business. Leave law abiding citizens alone. We're not hurting you. We just have facts, and -

Go buy a globe. Study it. WATER makes up the vast majority of the surface. Probably explains why WATER VAPOR makes up 97 percent of the greenhouse gasses that prevent the EArth from becoming the surface of the moon. Most of the land surface of the earth is not only wilderness, but UNEXPLORED wilderness. The United States is not that large of a mass, when compared to Asia, Europe, etc, but this country is on the cutting edge of natural resource conservation. We make the cleanest fossil fuel energy on the planet. If you EnviroKarens want to point a finger, just head over to China, THE LARGEST COAL USER ON THE PLANT, and bitch at them about their masses of automobiles, polluted skies, etc. Oh, and if you're one of those individuals who somehow equate cattle ranching with somehow adding more CO2 to the atmosphere, (which is about as dumb as it gets) just remember that TERMITES release more CO2 into the atmosphere than all human activity combined. If you don't like commercial meat production, don't eat meat. And leave the rest of us alone. We're not polluting anything or changing any climate. We do not have that kind of power. Oh and remember, the United States is the home of the renewable timber industry. Older growth trees (which are low on the photosynthesis scale) are cut down and made into useful items, and they are replaced by young, growing trees, that process a lot of CO2 and make oxygen for humans and animals to breathe. Jungles of South America (yeah, I know, idiots call them rain forests) are NOT being clear cut by American companies. You need to go there and get into the faces of the indigenous people who are doing that and KARENIZE them. We know that Haiti's clear cutting of its jungles led to the crappy environment, mudslides, etc, that makes life a living hell on that island. Again, AMERICANS had nothing to do with that. Go bother China, South America, Haiti. Leave the American worker/taxpayer alone. -

So far, I just show the stupidity of the Luddite Chicken Little EnviroNazi crowd. As far as the climate of the earth is concerned, you entitled, triggered snowflakes are going to have to accept the fact that it is OUT of the hands of human beings. You've lost this argument. You lost it on the science and the facts, because -

Humans CANNOT change the climate of a planet
reason10 replied to reason10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Imagining human activity able to change climate is not thinking. It is just plain lunacy and stupidity. (A very dangerous combination.) Carl Sagan is a novelist. He is NOT a scientist. The climate didn't change when he said it would. His OPINION is no more valid than anyone else's. The climate MIGHT change, simply because nature is much more powerful than a handful of entitled, egotistical humans playing God. The climate HAS changed in the past, long before humans inhabited the planet. But suggesting human activity of ANY kind can cause it to snow in Key West in the summer is just plain stupidity and lunacy. -

Nope. The article is fact. The seas have not risen when Algore said they would. The earth did NOT warm when the nutcases said it would. The climate has not and will not change as a result of ANY human activity. -
I never said the Fairness Doctrine was introduced during the Reagan era. I said it was abolished by a Reagan veto. Try to keep up with the class here, lib. And wanna hear an example of the goose stepping nature of the Fairness Doctrine? During the Reagan/Carter race, Ronald Reagan's movies were taken off the air. The reason? Because Carter didn't have any movies so the Fairness Doctrine somehow thought it wasn't fair. Imagine that! A peanut farmer who was a disaster to the state of Georgia and a disaster to the United States somehow was at a disadvantage because of Bedtime For Bonzo movies. I remember when that took place. Several years after Reagan was elected in a landslide, I read (probably in the Wall Street Journal) that the idiotic Fairness Doctrine was responsible. Earth to IDIOTS. The marketplace of ideas does NOT need a fairness doctrine. It's called the FIRST AMENDMENT, and there's nothing in it about having to be fair to both sides of any issue. Today, Foxnews represents fairness and equal time to both sides of the aisle. There are other news companies moving up and ready to compete with Fox. (Newsmax, Breitbart, OneAmerica.) The competition is healthy. It forces everyone competing to up their game and be more competitive. It's obvious why fake news rags like CNN, PMSNBC, et al are losing market share.
