Are the Democrats an Actual Cult?
Hodad replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Ew, an old man kissing his grandkids? Gross! A politician kissing babies? Unheard of! If you think there's anything sexual about these photos, you should probably delete them from your hard drive and stop spamming them across the internet (as you do with all your pet grievances). But you don't actually think that. You know they are innocent encounters taken out of context. You just love lying about it. That's what's actually exploitative. That does seem to be your mantra though. You post it a lot. -
This is funny. You think you've posted 3 Biden failures, but you've actually posted the same gripe three times--and it starts with Trump. 1. The disposable income graph is ALREADY inflation adjusted, so even you can see that Americans are better off financially under Biden today than they were under Trump even before the pandemic. Glad you're helping to spread the good news. 2. Remember this is a pandemic story. The two spikes you see on the disposable income graph (1 under Trump, 1 under Biden) are the two massive direct relief cash-to-the-public programs. Some action here was necessary to prevent collapse, but the data suggests that these programs weren't targeted enough. Because... 3. The pandemic fueled massive disruption to the supply chain globally. So we suddenly have fewer goods in the market COMBINED with the disposable income from item 2, so we get inflation. Which is further exacerbated as oil production lagged the general population during the recovery. People resumed driving faster than companies could un-shutter rigs and re-staff for production. (Again, Trump negotiated for reduced oil production to protect the oil companies--which was actually a good thing, but it doesn't mean it didn't have a knock on effect later.) 4. And interest rates, which had been unnaturally low for longer than they should, were raised to fight the inflation from points 2 and 3. 3 views of the same phenomenon. And the American people came out of the other side better for it. Like most of the economy, it can't be credited entirely to Biden simply because he was in office, but fact that we were able to avoid a pandemic crash, execute a managed recovery and return to growth is a pretty impressive bit of work. Unlike Trump, who left the country far worse off than when he took office, it looks now like Biden will finish his term with a vast improvement.

I'm going to disagree here. Fox News isn't making mistakes. They are penalized because they spread misinformation and disinformation deliberately, with full knowledge, for political purposes. That is their core mission. Remember the behind the scenes emails between Carlson and his colleagues, bemoaning the fact that they felt compelled to lie to their audiences? That's just SOP there.

The primary documentation I'd like to see is your discharge paperwork from the asylum. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be out. ^^Here, you present another unhinged rant cataloging your personal grievances. Okaaaaay. I certainly don't need a link to any of it, because you're just spewing your regular copy and paste bullshit. But when I point out that you're spewing your copy and paste bullshit, as I'm likely to continue doing, don't complain that I'm not using facts or links. It's a rather stupid complaint. Meanwhile, be sure to stay tuned to Trump's media channels so that he can tell you the real weather. Even if you're watching it rain, best to get verification from your god to avoid accidental blasphemy. -
I'm not sure they can make the felony case on this (individual acts are misdemeanors) nor that a conviction would result in jail time. This one is very small potatoes compared to the attempted coup and whatnot. Yes, the presumptive nominee of the party of family values/party of law and order party definitely committed a crime when he cooked the books to hide hush money payments for his adulterous adventures with porn stars, but I don't think he'll go to prison for it

See the way forums work is that replies are sequential. You posted another of your copy and paste screeds -- with no facts or links, jackass. Then I called it out for what it was. Then you replied criticizing me for not using facts or links (but you tossed in a video of some randos on YouTube for some reason). To which I replied that you didn't use a facts or links in your screed and shouldn't point fingers. And somehow you think I've missed the youtube randos that you spam everwhere? Because apparently you can't track an exchange over 4 posts.🤣 And onto my favorite WestCanMan greatest hits-thank you for providing proof again that I am correct in calling you an incorrigible liar. You've seen videos and photos-- from the first time this issue ever came up--that show rain at Trumps inauguration, while he is speaking. Speakers on stage at the inauguration literally reference the rain at the inauguration. And you will STILL persist, even a year later that Trump was truthful when he claimed there was no rain at the inauguration. Stop and think about how farking insane that is, that an (allegedly) grown man is so invested in the MAGA cult that he can look at photo and video evidence with his own eyes, and hear the audio, and still deny that reality is reality. You're farking nuts. Certifiable. A truly shameless, pathological liar. And to my other favorite illustration of your low character, I gave you timestamped photos of CNN and FOX releasing breaking news of the robbery footage on the same day. Again, black and white time-stamped still photos, video and stories-- indisputable evidence. And still, you persist in lying about seeing it on your TV days earlier. You are a liar, and a bad joke. ^^This type of utter denial of reality is exactly why no one can take you seriously and why no one wants to spend half an hour pointing out ever lie (ever line) of your Gish gallops. To what end? You can see indisputable proof with your own eyes, and simply continue lie about it. So what is the damn point? -
I'm terrified and appalled by how many Republican voters are ignorant of these traitorous schemes and still want Trump to be president again. I'm FAR MORE terrified and appalled by how many Republican voters are aware of these traitorous schemes, and STILL want Trump to be president again. These are the people willing to end the American experiment in services of this deplorable human being.

The actual truth is that it's because liberal people have properly identified and derided FOX as a the PR wing of the Republican party. That's literally how it was conceived and founded, and how it's operated all these years. But the conservatives, who watch FOX mistake it for a news organization. So they feel the childish need to lash out at something in return, even if it's a false equivalency. So CNN is the new target. CNN is left-leaning, but it's not a mirrored equivalent of FOX. And CNN is a news organization that hires actual journalists to investigate and report the news. FOX does not hire journalists, and never has. They hire entertainers and pundits to tell stories around the prescribed talking points. FOX really appeals to people who lack all critical thinking skills, and the real shame is that they get dumber (more misinformed) for the effort. These are the people who MOST need real news, and instead they're feasting on junk.

Hey, look at your own post, dipshit. Not a fact or link in sight. Just lie after lie after lie with a dash of opinion. How could you possibly think anyone would actually engage with that crap? If you want to debate facts, try using one. Like "It didn't rain!" Or, "I saw it on my TV days before the footage was released." So we can all laugh at you again. -
This is really a pretty flimsy complaint. Willis was boning the special prosecutor. They went on vacations together. He booked the travel. (According to both parties, Willis paid him directly for her half.) So the premise of the complaint is that there was an incentive to extend the prosecution, so that the special prosecutor would be employed longer, so Willis would be able to go on more vacations. -- That's right. The claim is that Willis was prosecuting this case not because it's a history-making case against a history making crook, but because the highly-paid county DA wanted her boyfriend to be able to take her on more fabulous getaways! You never know what's going to happen in court with real people, but seems unlikely to achieve any goal beyond delay. If it turns the other way for some reason, Willis will have farked her way out of the history books.

🤣 Sure. This is the time you've managed to stop progress in its tracks. No other generation of conservatives thought that they raised children "properly." You cracked the code! lol Tell yourself whatever story you need to tell yourself. -

I can say with near total certainty that you are wildly misrepresenting Michelle Obama. because that's all you do is lie, lie, lie, but okay, so this should be as productive as it always is. How about you start with providing an actual quote? -

Lol. Literally every time we do this "one thing" exercise you tuck tail and slink away. No retraction. No rethinking. And then you just post the same objectively false information a week later. Because you're a liar and a coward. -

Don't be silly. We can persuade, but there are no illusions that we can force people to get with the times. We simply have to lay the groundwork and wait for you Archie Bunker bastards to decide that the social price is too high--or until you die off. -

Sure, sure. That's what they say every time. And then a generation grows up and realizes that a marginalized behavior is completely harmless and the bigoted protestations fall by the wayside and those once marginalized people are welcomed into society. Every time. -

Really doesn't matter what you--or they-- find appropriate today They point, again, is that these norms will continue to evolve toward a society increasingly tolerant of anger non-harm liberties and differences. A society that is actively inclusive. Progress marches on, as it has for generation after generation. Every generation of doomed conservatives has lost their battle for stagnation. The same hateful cranks who said that the progress of every generation was "woke" (or whatever stupid phrase they used at the time) claimed the country was going to hell in a handbasket. Freedom for slaves, civil rights, women's rights, gay rights and on and on into the future, all opposed by people like you. And all completely normalized today. While the opposing a-holes are just ugly footnotes in history. If you want to spend your long march to the irrelevance and the graveyard pissing into the wind, you go for it. But it puts you in the logical pickle of saying that the progressive movement that enabled your son to live a full life is the evil enemy. That progress isn't progress, and we'd be better off with the values of the past. The same culture war bullshit that you rail about as "woke" today is the exact same progressive movement that will allow someone else's child to live a full life in a tolerant society 30 years from now. -

Hey, look, another pack of lies so entirely disconnected from reality that it reads like you're posting from another universe. Oh, and the PeeWee Herman defense. Brilliant! As usual, the craziest part is your massive boner for a guy who isn't even a politician in your country. Lol It would be wildly refreshing if you could post just one true claim. Instead, we get this constant barrage of bullshit. -

Long, boring, repetitive copy and paste of your same bullshit. And pointing out what's inaccurate about your post would exhaust anyone--and has never lead your to change your mind or to even stop you from posting the same lies. Remember, you are exactly the sort of person who pretends that it's not raining when shown photos and video of rain. You are exactly the sort of person who, when shown timestamped video, lie about your (apparently very special and magical) and TV broadcasting footage days ahead of it's release. So go feed yourself, troll. -

If you don't think it's progress that your son can lead a rich, full life because of the progressive movement, and claim it's not progress, surely you'd like to undo those changes.
