They simply said if you want to participate in this aspect of society, then you have to get the vaccine. And even when it comes to exceptions, there are cases where the government would still ban participation. For example, in Canada kids can go to school without being vaccinated against a bunch of diseases if the parents object. However, in the event of a viral pandemic, then the government can ban unvaccinated students. And remember, these covid vaccine rules were applied during a viral pandemic. One of the ways you know this anti-vax bullshit was manufactured is because so many of the laws were already there for other vaccines. People were complaining that they couldn't travel without the covid vaccine, as if we don't already have that rule for diseases like polio and rubella.

1) Not necessarily. There are lots of liberal or one issue organizations who help to advance left-wing issues. Leftists and liberals generally agree on social issues. What I'm saying is that trans right is a left-wing issue, so getting society to accept trans people would be a win for the Left. It can also be called a win for the Center, since liberals also support trans rights. 2) Come on. In colloquial speak, it's a given that "all" means virtually all.

1) It is. Leftism is about dispersing power throughout society, which includes the acceptance of minorities. This is why the Left has always supported civil rights movements, while the Right always opposes them. So yeah, social acceptance of trans people is a victory for the Left. Conservatism as a whole is built on feels over reals. It's partly in the name, as conservatives want to "conserve" traditional values. But this often means disregarding evidence that shows us something traditional is harmful or objectively wrong. In order for people to be conservative, they have to be anti-reality to varying degrees. Basically, it's just not about facts. Another thing is that since conservative economic policies are so unpopular, right-wing politicians have to lie a lot, even by political standards. All politicians lie about their record and how trustworthy they are, but only conservative politicians lie about the entire foundation of their politics. After all, their politics are about using nostalgia and "tradition" to create economic policy that benefits the rich at the expense of the poor. That's not exactly easy to sell to the public. So they need to create an alternative universe based on emotion. Again, feels over reals.

The exceptions don't define the ideology. The vast majority of conservatives are anti-education and anti-reality. It varies, of course. Some conservatives want to end public education. Some conservatives want to fill the universities with right-wing lunatics posing as professors. But they all agree that children should be indoctrinated, not educated.
