    I don't know. Was it really necessary to funnel money to the Palestinians THROUGH Hamas? From what I am reading, Netanyahu's purpose was driving a wedge between Hamas and the PA, to guarantee there would never be a 2 state solution. There are, and could be more, OTHER ways to deliver aid to Palestinians. Money can be used for anything absent CONTROLS on how it's spent. Maybe it could have been controlled or at least monitored through intelligence methods. And I'm betting it WAS monitored and Israeli intelligence KNEW it was being spent on the extensive tunnel network instead of food and shelter for the citizens.

    What you missed is that criminal conviction is NOT the criteria for disqualification from the PRIVILEGE of being on a ballot. You believe a POTUS candidate needs to be convicted of being under 35 yo to be disqualified? There is NO RIGHT to be on any particular ballot. You have to be QUALIFIED according to the Constitution.
