Unlike many of the rest, our coast guard is completely unarmed and useless in any military context.

Defending themselves from being slaughtered, you mean? Damn those Jews! Of course you have. You and those like you bring up shit like this because you want everyone to feel as guilt-ridden and ashamed of themselves as you are. You want to use it as a stick to beat everyone else who's white so we give all our money to the Siberians who came here before us and built... uh... nothing. All because you cry yourself to sleep every night at us being more sophisticated and technologically advanced than then were.

Being against zionism in the 1940s is not the same as being anti-zionist in 2026. Being against zionism in 2026 is to demand the destruction of a nation of millions of people on behalf of a group of savages whose death cult religion demands they take over every square inch of land on Earth and kill anyone who gets in their way.

And what percent age of the people in Canada in 1867 were here in 1793? There were about 175k people in canada in 1793, and 3.5 million in 1867. That means the vast majority of people you insist bear terrible guilt for there having been slaves were not even here. Just like the vast majority of the blacks you insist must be given preferential hiring, promotion, grants, loans, etc., had no ancesters living here then. So how come Carny doesn't call out indigenous slavery? How come the CBC doesn't run documentaries on the vicious violence, genocide, torture and slavery of indigenous Canadians?

The Liberals are lying about fixing immigration

The Liberals are lying about fixing immigration

The problem starts with a federal government that doesn’t take immigration enforcement seriously, and therefore sees no reason to invest in it. The auditor general found that, between 2023 and 2024, IRCC identified more than 153,000 students as potentially non-compliant with their permit conditions, such as staying enrolled in school, actually attending classes, and respecting work hour limits. However, it only had funds to “investigate” 2,000 cases per year. The auditor general found that, of the 4,057 “investigations” IRCC did pursue in the 2023-2024 period, 40 per cent of cases were shut “because students did not respond to requests for more information” and “another 50 cases were identified as non‑compliant and requiring further follow‑up by the department.” https://archive.is/2QZI7 -
I'm wondering if this is allowed because in many NATO countries, like the US, the coast guard is armed. The US used to use the coast guard in miltiary areas like the Gulf (pre drones) in order to combat small boats Canada's coast guard, of course, is not armed, and unlike in the US, its sailors are all civilians.

Moving with lightning speed! This PROPOSED project has been underway for six years now! It's still only a PROPOSED project. This is the kind of bureacracy and regulatory mess that is strangling Canada's economy. https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/proj/80054 Completed three years ago. The port is already near capacity. Yes, we already know about the LNG terminal project. This is a fifty year plan. A bullshit excuse to prevent the Liberals from having to approve a pipeline either east or west and instead direct oil north to a port closed eight months of the year. And why would all of that impact Canada more than the rest of the world? If you think any of these are not under government control you probably even imagine that senators and judges are appointed through an 'independent' and unbiased system.

Was this food inflation significantly worse than all the rest of the G7 back then? By the way, it's increased 46% under Trudeau.

Harper did his best to ignore China entirely. I was around then, you see. Apparently, you hadn't yet been born and this was distant history you read in a book somewhere. But I remember the continuous criticism from the Liberals, BQ and NDP of his ignoring China, of his refusing to go over there and kiss the ring, of how our industries needed Chinese favour. He ignored them unilt the gang of three tried a putsche due to him not spending enough money as the recession hit. Then he started spending big, and agreed to meet with China and talk business. Most of them were negotiated under previous governments or were just completions of negotiations that were already underway when they took power. Not possible without greatly expanding our ports, which he is not doing.

You have to wonder just how our universities hire people, how some of these doorknobs manage to even graduate, much less become employed at a place of higher learning. The way universities have become little more than factories of the most confused, unthinking ideology does not presage a good future for us. And how do such regressive people call themselves progressive? https://archive.is/enwoI

The Juno awards are kind of a joke in that most people never listen to Canadian music, and couldn't name you any Canadian artist who hasn't busted into the American market. Most music made in Canada is like most TV, movies, theater, ballet, books and scripts made in Canada - surving only because of federal subsidies. Without that, the interest of the vast majority of Canadians is so low they'd all have to be waiting on tables to pay the bills.

Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam's study on the catastrophic social effects of diversity surprised even him. However, they remain true to this day. For a refresh, he found that the greater the diversity in a community, the fewer people vote and the less they volunteer, the less they give to charity and work on community projects. In the most diverse communities, neighbours trust one another about half as much as they do in the most homogenous settings. Less donations to food banks is a prime example of this. From X

How many people in Canada today do you imagine can trace their ancestra back to 1833 when slavery was abolished? At the time, there were less than 50 of them in British North America. The governor general had banned the importation of slaves in 1793. Even when slavery was abolished, most of the slaves were indigenous, not black, and most of those holding them were also indigenous. The only people who would feel this is some justification for us to feel guilt, much less to put in place laws that prioratized the hiring of immigrants to somehow make up for it are batshit crazy.
