Millions of Canadians would disagree with ....... anything and everything. We have become a country of complainers. We want everything for free and want it now. Every emergency room in the country does triage. Those that need immediate help, get it. More and more people go to emergency for minor issues and therefore clog them up.

Don't make it sound like "others" are getting off scott free. Yes, some will get off without being caught or paying back taxes but, that happens every year. Getting all fraud or making all recovery is an ongoing problem and the best that can with the resources available is being done. Unfortunately, it is the low man on the totem pole that normally gets caught.,

There are only so many people and only so much time and they do what they can with what they got. I have close friends that are actively working on fraud cases for this covid payouts. Yeah me too I think. LOL I do not defend him but, Trudeau has every right to ask for audits of the money he gives for healthcare. Provinces have a very bad habit of spreading money around even when designated for specific things. They should have to prove the money is being spent for what it was issued.

The provinces all have different needs and requirments so if nationalized, there still would be departments within specializing in each provinces issues. All the feds are asking is to audit and report where the money is being spent. A very reasonable requests as I see Other countries have similar problems and perhaps we should look at what they are doing it solve their similar problems instead of fighting around tables and getting nowhere.

Therein lies a part of the problem. Money is needed for healthcare and it is there except politicians of all stripes in all Provinces are giving the taxpayers cash back instead of putting it into places where the taxpayers say it is most desperately needed. One government charges carbon tax and then gives billions back.... Most governments give rebates for one thing or another. Would the taxpayers be more pissed at losing the rebates or letting health care get worse?
