  1. A whole lot of conjecture and accusations and not a shred of evidence or proof. 'A perfect example of social media disinformation that sprouts wings and takes off. Bot??? from where? What "bot"? Russia? Really? Prove it. Oh, it comes form Charlie Angus and his NDP clan...should have known LOL Jagmeet, Charlie is an embarrassment...drop him down the well LOL
  2. I was involved in amateur athletics (sports) and had to be aware of them It was so complicated it truly needs a medical professional to sort it out. https://www.wada-ama.org/en/prohibited-list https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20020372/
  3. No, but the did say he "COULD" be. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/trump-trudeau-castro-conspiracy-1.7287329 Trump is a clown and verified now by the Harris/Walz campaign. He is debunked and ridiculed at every turn and then he has Vance to help him look even stupider. LOL Conservatism at it's finest LOL
  4. They did not get "booted" for performance enhancing drugs". They got booted for using a banned substance. What many do not understand is not all banned drugs are "performance enhancing" but they are masking drugs or chemicals that can mask PED's in their system. The list of masking agents is a lot longer and intensive than the actual PED's.
  5. Because at this time the driving I do does not suit EVs. Get facts and not just your normal rectal plucks. "EV batteries are designed to power a vehicle for 10 to 20 years without repair or replacement. Battery replacements in the first 10 years are rare outside of large, publicized recalls. The likelihood that a battery needs to be replaced varies by manufacturer, battery technology, vehicle usage, and charging behavior." https://www.recurrentauto.com/questions/how-often-do-you-need-to-replace-an-ev-battery "By the time today's EVs will need a replacement battery pack, it's likely the manufacturing and material costs will be far less than they are today. We're not saying that replacing your EV's lithium-ion battery pack a decade from now will be cheap, but we wager doing so will be much more affordable than it is today." https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a31875141/electric-car-battery-life/ Just because I did not buy an EV this time certainly does not mean I won't for my next vehicle purchase. Nothing hypocritical at all, just got what I need at this time. You certainly are a narrow minded uneducated Luddite LOL
  6. Hey, Warren Buffet is the financial PT Barnum , whatever he says is for his sake and benifit.LOL I have no idea who you have been listening to but it is clearly the wrong people LOL Clearly you have been reading....I don't know what ....but whatever it is, it is wrong. I provided links to legitimate documents and papers. Ya gotta get you head out of your locality. The world has increasing EV manufacture and sales.
  7. Ha Ha Ha....the forests warren buffet Ha Ha Ha Oh, I can spend for a very long time and I will...all for me. LOL https://www.cnbc.com/2017/07/12/use-warren-buffetts-simple-psychological-trick-to-be-persuasive.html https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/finance/are-we-in-a-recession https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/is-a-recession-coming/
  8. Duhhh, we don't have the infrastructure for the forecasted increase in PHEV and EV sales in Canada, US and the world.
  9. Yeah...you are going to have to do better than throw out empty statements. Buffet is one voice in the forest. LOL As for EV's, I just bought a new vehicle and it s not an EV. I do not think we have the infrastructure to support them yet but, it is coming. More and more every day. The reality is "by 2030, the global electric vehicle stock (excluding two/three-wheelers) will reach nearly 250 million vehicles and grows to 525 million in 2035, when one in four vehicles on the road would be electric. Sales share could reach over 50% in 2035." https://www.virta.global/global-electric-vehicle-market So, your EV ignorance is clearly up there with narrow minded deniers. LOL
  10. Huh??? Deny the future all you want but....ohhhh, it is coming LOL
  11. I am assuming(?)that you think it is the wealthy that skirt the taxes when in fact it is not them but the lower income folks that pay no taxes. It is primarily low income people that pay no taxes. Yes, some very rich can reduce their taxes to almost nothing but, "more than two-thirds (68.6 per cent) of individuals with income below $30,000 didn't pay any personal income taxes—that's more than 8.8 million Canadians. Many low-income Canadians do not pay any personal income taxes because their tax credits and deductions are greater than the amount of taxes owed" Fraser Institute.
  12. No,. When they vote, it is for very different circumstances. Municipal, for local government . Provincial, for regional government. Federal, for national government. The division of authority amongst those levels of government have been been negotiated. I am very sure every Canadian is fully aware of that. We are not American where they vote for money, commissioners, sheriffs, police chiefs, district attorneys, etc etc. They truly need a civics course to teach them of all the elected officials in all the elected position within their innumerable levels of government are and what they are about. Canadians have, by comparison to the American governmental systems, have lived by the kiss principle.
  13. So, God spoke to Moses...in the old testament...and was speaking to the Jewish peoples? So, then what Israel is doing to the Palestinians with rockets, bombs, drones, rifles is what?? Killing?? Or culling? 13 minutes ago, blackbird said: "I am not getting into playing a game of comparing what is going on in the world. Just letting you know what God says in the Holy Scriptures. If a mother doesn't want a baby, she should give it up for adoption. There are lots of people who can't have children and looking to adopt a child. Adoption is very common." Where in the hoily scripts does it say that???
  14. So, does that make masturbation murder??? LOL
  15. I agree but what I do not agree with is some poster trying to differentiate between killing babies...be they fetus or 2 year old and justifying it. Saying killing a child is OK in war and then insinuating they are a victim of war is nonsensical. A child is not a combatant. In the case of backturd, he/she seems to insinuate the child is hamas and that is a consequence of war. A child has no political affiliation. Espousing the bible anti abortion and dismissing the "Thou shalt not kill" scripture in one hand and then praising one nation killing kids with the other is BS and hyper hypocritical.. As for "teenagers being too lazy too stupid or lazy to use birth control". I think that teenagers are not true. "the majority of women who had abortions (57%) were in their 20s, while about three-in-ten (31%) were in their 30s. Teens ages 13 to 19 accounted for 8% of those who had abortions, while women ages 40 to 44 accounted for about 4%." https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/03/25/what-the-data-says-about-abortion-in-the-us/
  16. Hmmm, you are OK with Israeli bombing.... My "depraved mind"??? Now that is a laugh LOL Killing babies with bombs, rockets and gunfire is OK by you.
  17. Killing is killing. EDIT: Killing babies and kids one way is better than killing them the other way??? Even your book does not differentiate LOL It is your topic...killing.
  18. Tell that to the Israelis that have been killing women and children since 7 October but hey, you defend them habitually.
  19. This debate might even be worth watching LOL The Trumpians here (conservatives) are pretty defensive LOL
  20. Just addressing the statements that EV's sales are going down because Ford is stopping.building them and that is why the battery plant is delayed. I believe Canadian economics is the real reason it is delayed an d, in my opinion, will never be built. (same goes for the one in BC) https://www.iea.org/reports/global-ev-outlook-2023/trends-in-electric-light-duty-vehicles
  21. We become narrow minded and think EV or PHEV are only a Canadian or US issue or market. EV and PHEYVsales world wide are increasing and the forecast looks like it will increase again. "In 2023, just under 60% of new electric car registrations were in the People’s Republic of China (hereafter ‘China’), just under 25% in Europe, and 10% in the United States – corresponding to nearly 95% of global electric car sales combined." https://www.iea.org/reports/global-ev-outlook-2024/trends-in-electric-cars
  22. Wrong. OEM.s of any product manipulate cost for sales. Profit may not be the reason for product sales. I guess government subsidy being a waste is very dependant on what business and where the business is. Subsidizing or giving grants to the auto industry affects The auto industry in Ontario provide work for at least 500,000 people. Same goes for the oil industry. 400,000 in the fishing industry. 400,000 + in the forestry industry. So really, grants and subsidies affect a lot more people , regions, cities and towns than you seem to realize.
  23. Profits are not the topic or point. Sales are.
  24. We are talking about climate change, not the carbon tax Michael. Seems I am not alone in having difficulty understanding you on this subject
