US Supreme Court strikes down Roe V. Wade
West replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The second ammendment guarantees your right to bare arms. Some states (and for that matter the feds) have put in laws to curtail everything from automatic weapons to magazine capacity. The validity of said laws can be challenged under s. 14 of the constitution. As for abortion, the States can make their own law and the court determines whether or not each law is constitutional provided there are real cases... -

Do you think a Jewish baker should have to make a cake with a swastika on it? -

Show me the specific line in the constitution where women can kill their unborn child in utero Article 10 protects the state's rights to pass their own law. The federal government is not a superior level of government "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." -

Oh yes it's Republicans fault because Barry couldn't pass laws and relied on the court instead. Companies can deny business to whoever they want. The free market will decide if their policy is a good thing or not. It's when government interferes in the shop owner's right to serve unmasked individuals and forces them to be mask police that there's issues -

Very strange: The rights that are enshrined in the US constitution I.e states rights to pass their own laws, the 2nd ammendment the leftists don't support Rights not enshrined in the US constitution I.e baby murder they do support. Down is up, up is down with these folks. And they claim Republicans are damaging institutions... -

Obama had close to a decade to fix it yet focused more time on who can pee in which bathroom and forcing a baker to make a cake against their will. -

This is a lie. They all said they wouldn't indicate how they'd rule on specific cases as it's improper to do so in a confirmation hearing. -

Barry had 8 (undeserved) years where he did nothing for actual issues other than force Christian bakers to bake the rainbow cake. -

Obama left key infrastructure in the US in shambles. He would rather spend the money on gender transitions in Africa. -

In one breath the democraps claim to be the champions of the poor... in the next breath they tell us poor kids shouldn't be allowed to live and then proceed to hike taxes and lower standard of living through printing of money to fund their nonsense. These people are the party of death and destruction. -

What's the difference between "legal with some exceptions" and "illegal with some exceptions"? Seems like an attempt to skew the poll for talking points. Seems like it's broken down as follows: 1. Moral or ethical issues: should a mother be able to do genetic testing ie for Down Sydrome or autism or sex then abort based on that? 2. Medical issues: should a mother be able to abort where there's a high likelihood the child will die and there's significant pregnancy risk to the mother? 3. Consensual sex: should a woman be able to terminate a pregnancy as a career move? 4. Incidences of rape These are societal issues as I don't believe we should tolerate leftist eugenics movements any longer. These lunatics like Anna Navarro should be charged with hate speech -

Law is philosophical. There's obviously more to a human being than just "science". Only those with a seared conscience could claim that children in utero are just a clump of cells. We live in a very warped society where women are willing to kill for their careers -

So the crazy activists make up absures "estimates" and we are supposed to just say nothing ??. Like this nonsensical climate change hoax shooting gas up to $2 a liter and making it near impossible to pay your bills. Their solution? Kill your children in utero
