US Supreme Court strikes down Roe V. Wade
West replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Think you are paranoid. Republicans ended slavery therefore I doubt they will impose it again. What I find from your ilk is you do not seem to understand, either through dishonesty or ignorance, the political system in the US. The constitution is set up in such a way that the basics are protected, such as your right not to be forced to forego your religion because it hurts peoples feelings, while allowing for legislation to be swayed by public opinion so long as it's not violating the Charter. As abortion is not found in the Charter, it's a matter for elections. -
Yes crimes against humanity are justified because "Trump's a bad guy"
-
Communists being communists unfortunately.
-
Only approved government views allowed eh. Otherwise you are committing a crime. Classic communist bs
-
The guy is a disgrace to humanity.
-
Evidently yes that's where we are. Just like JT breaking all sorts of covid laws by marching with BLM.. crickets because it's an approved government view
-
It's because she snapped a photo with a guy by the name of Tom Quiggen at the Justice Center event. They claim it violates her bail conditions even as the condition says she cannot have contact without a lawyer present .. her lawyer was also there. Therefore the charge is political sending a message to the upcoming protest the government is willing to trample on basic civil liberties if you dare challenge them. Just a few weeks ago trudeaus star chamber tried to imprison her for saying she's honored to accept am award. You know our country is a disgrace when that happens.
-
The prosecution is clearly political. Had she organized the same protest for Trans access to women's bathrooms she'd be a national hero
-
Context matters. They are claiming a protest broke the law and that accepting a freedom award broke her bail conditions. In what democratic society is that legitimate to throw somebody in jail over?
-
That's a load of garbage. She's being harassed by law enforcement for embarrassing drama boy.. pretty sad that you and others support it
-
Leftists.. pieces of garbage. Turning this country into a hell hole

?.. yet democaps created a fake collusion scam to try and remove a sitting president -
Our country has become no better than China. We've imprisoned people for protesting. It's a shame so many people think like you and are prepared to allow political prisoners.
-
Pathetic.. leftists are so disgusting.

If she's an addict and slips something into her kids bottle.. sure you will stand up for the mom in that case too... nobody has to take responsibility if they are a left winger. They are the "victim" -

What about a woman who puts drugs in her child's bottle? Let it slide? They have a responsibility to seek help and protect the vulnerable -

I've already answered this.. If you can prove negligence or other illegal activity causing bodily harm or death to a baby inside the womb, should be treated as if they are outside the womb with same consequences to the perpetrator. Whether that's the mother or otherwise. If it's just a woman having a miscarriage and there's no malice involved then why would she be punished? Should be treated as a natural death -

Why would she be? Is she charged now or do you have to prove negligence? -

If a man drives drunk and kills a woman and her child he should be charged x2. I believe the baby is a person from the moment of conception. I.e we already recognize that if you drug your 1 year old child to death you'll be charged. I move that same logic back to time of conception or at least until the woman knows she's pregnant then she has a duty of care. -
