The bureaucracy speaks. Downtown Ottawa. About 3 square kilometres of federal bureaucrats...and the "escorts" who service them. The truckers turned their precious little land into a terror-ridden area of lowlifes who smell like diesel fuel and don't even work at home. They are indeed...sub-human. Their non-trucker supporters? The thousands who support these filthy commoners? They are the servant class. They've forgotten their place in society and need to be re-aligned. Canadians have no "rights" except the ones our fine bureaucratic and political class allows. These "rights" are championed as a gracious gift, by our leaders. They are rescinded when our leaders have to put up with the stench of the commoners right on their doorsteps. The truckers and the commoners managed to do something unthinkable. They brought the land o' bureaucrats to its knees, in a demand for the "rights" these very bureaucratic Tweekies claim exist. To those sub-humans who thought they actually have "rights" as Canadians. The bureaucratic and leadership class hate you. They look down their noses at you and allow you to etch out a meagre living just as long as you stay quiet and serve them. Should you not cooperate and stay in your place, they'll take your money and destroy you and your families. We have witnessed the extent of our "rights". We have learned they are a facade...a soother...a lie. Yet...as with all societies, it is we who hold true power. We have learned that too. We can bring this nation to its knees and make the Tweekies shudder with the repulsive thought that they might actually have to serve themselves. The secret that these Tweenkies will never admit is, they NEED you more than you NEED them. You are the pedestal they stand on. The very foundation of this nation. Without you, these fops have nobody to reaffirm their notions of superiority. Remember always...you can protest and make yourselves heard without violence...the Tweenkies cannot. They require the aid of police. They require the cooperation of banks. They are truly cowards...like their leader...who hide behind armed police. Enshrine your "rights". Never give them up. And always remember... It is really YOU who hold true power in Canada. NOT THE TWEENKIES!

Heyyyy...I happen to like Beavertails...all of them... You and I agree on a lot of things. But this is one ride I can't go on. I love this nation and am both angered and saddened by the way its all been handled...EXCEPT for the Ottawa Police. Taking the fuel wasn't nice but in general, the Ottawa Police appear to be rather sympathetic to the cause of the protest. Having said that...this democracy is experiencing a number of new challenges, as a result of the China Virus...or The Rona, whichever one prefers...and Pixie-Dust has been too willing to act like a petulant and dictatorial li'l pussy. HE MUST GO! Other than that...Canada is a marvellous land which has something for everyone. Hell we can drink the fresh water here and not get sick. Try that one in Europe. The Trudeau government has taken a hard stance to preserve their newly found powers. They like these powers and don't really want to give them up. Go figure... But Canada...my friend...is an friggin' awesome nation. Especially when stood up next to most any other nation in comparison. All we need right now is strong leadership that works for CANADIANS and not The Power Corporation. Nor the Chinese...even though now both are the same...Nor Gawd-Damn Soros! MY NATION FIRST!!!

Perhaps...the Ottawa Police, recognize that the protesters are peaceful and maybe, the cops are even sympathetic to their cause?

Lizzy? I think you really mean "The Crown" don't you? And our fealty to The Crown is more a business arrangement now. The Commonwealth. Something I'm not sure is good for Canada. But I am no expert on that agreement. Its not settled at all. And...its not so much climate change and the various theories there-of that I am not down for, but more the proposed solutions and the hasty panic some people are in to "throw out the old shoes, before buying new ones" that bothers me. Technology needs more time to design workable and reliable solutions. We already know that many countries simply will not comply and burn anything to drive power generation. Yet we should pay for unreliable sources because...it makes idiots like AOC happy? Find a solution that makes sense...then we'll talk. I would go for that. In fact, I'd help you sell the idea. Our military is way too small and we have a lot to protect. Not only that but a little military training would only benefit our society's sense of unity.

Actually...I agree that a short term in the military should be mandatory here. But I must ask...the "Queen of Canada"? Not to the nation itself? Correct. Family values. To me that's things like respect and honour. Two things I find seriously lacking in people these days...especially in the cities. The climate is something that should be taught. I would let the kids decide their mind on it though, since its not terribly settled. Provide the primary perspectives and leave to them.
