Actually, I was taught about the residential schools. In fact, one of my HS buddies and team mates in hockey, was a native going to school in the city. He said he was doing it because he wanted a good education. The residential schools were an attempt to educate the natives. Many of them did so. Many did not. But the rumors about killing the students is nothing more than an ugly Libbie rumor. Im not a fan of this "war", and I blame Isreal for it. I understand the desire to neuter the Islamic Republic. I just dont think it was America's job to do so.
