Well then, you won’t object to Canada shipping un documented illegals that cross our southern border to the US. -

The good thing is countries no longer have a choice so they are being forced to move away from the US. You want to be the dominant super power and you blame others because you do. -

The us is forgoing its seat at the top but you are too stupid to see that. You can’t shit on people and expect them to do nothing about it. Starmer is meeting with the EU to do just that. -

No one is buying your BS anymore. The US is showing its true colours and people are looking elsewhere. -

It already is, countries are looking for ways to move away from the US. A majority of Brits now want closer ties to the EU than the US. Trump is seen as the poster boy for the ugly American. -

Countries don't dump their people on you, they leave their countries by choice. Last I looked, there is no border between Columbia and the US. They will take them back just stop acting like the effing neighbourhood bully, it will backfire on you in the end. -

They had already taken off before Columbia was informed, that's why they had to turn back. It doesn't matter if they were informed or not, it's a clear violation of a country's sovereignty. The US border is the US's problem, other countries aren't going to build Iron Curtains or Berlin Walls to keep people in. If Trump were in Reagan's position he would have been telling Gorbachev to build the wall higher. -

The US has every right to deport people who enter the country illegally but just putting them on military aircraft and shipping them unannounced is just typical American arrogance thinking it is just fine to do to another country what they wouldn't stand for another country doing to them. -

Climate change isn't BS. It's happening regardless of political policy. -

Do you think other countries should be using military aircraft to deposit people in Canada without clearing it with the Canadian government? Do you think the US would allow that? People buy tickets on commercial aircraft and fly to places. You don't have to clear it with the Canadian government to buy an airplane ticket and leave the country and Americans don't have to clear it with theirs. What evidence do you have that the Columbian government is buying people one way tickets to the US and putting them on commercial carriers and why would they only be doing it to the US and not any other country? When you deport someone, that is your decision and their country of origin is not responsible for their transportation. Never has been. -

Documented by who? When have other countries used military aircraft to fly people into the US without your permission? Ever. People who have committed crimes are easily deported by normal channels. -

No, Columbia never refused to take Columbians back but if Trump wants to do it, he can buy them a ticket on a commercial flight like any other passenger. -
Tariffs on Canadian Goods
Aristides replied to NAME REMOVED's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Energy East was supposed to use an existing gas pipeline that runs to the Ontario Quebec border to transport oil. That much is already built. A spur to Sarnia should be built so we don't have to ship crude to Ontario refineries through the US. -

Not at all, It's exactly what Trump is doing. The Columbian president said he would accept Columbians returning but will not have them treated like cattle. -

US imports a lot of oil and coffee from Columbia so I hope you like higher gas and coffee prices. BTW, the US also has a trade surplus with Columbia. Trump seems to think it works that way. -

Maybe Germany should just grab a bunch of migrants they don't like, call them Americans, put them on a couple of Luftwaffe transports and dump them unannounced at Kennedy. -
