Even after this hit, InBev stock is up almost 9% since the beginning of the year. I don't think I would be selling if I owned it.

It's a stock price. Doesn't cost a thing unless you are selling it. It has already recovered about half that loss.

NATO is a defensive alliance and Finland is quite capable of looking after itself until the cavalry arrives. Permanently basing NATO troops in Finland would be an unnecessary provocation. During the Cold War, Canada used to do exercises involving rapidly moving troops to Europe and fighters to Bodo Norway.

Per capita, Finland is arguably the most militarized country in Europe. More MBT’s than Germany, more artillery than the UK and soon to have 65 F-35’s in a country with the population of BC. Why are they so militarized? Just look at their neighbour, and it ain’t Sweden.

I'm sure it does but even with this hit, InBev is still the world's 96th most valuable company in market cap. No doubt they play a long game.

Not a Bud Lite fan but I like a lot of InBev's other beers. Pour me a Negra Modelo any time. They also own Corona, Alexander Keiths and Labatts among hundreds of other brands world wide. I doubt whether a bunch of homophobic Yanks bother them too much in the grand theme of things.

This is a disaster for both Ukraine and Russia and Putin is the cause. He has turned much of Ukraine into a waste land and has weakened Russia militarily, is responsible for 10's if not 100's of thousands of deaths and turned Russia into an international pariah. I don't know that there will be any real winners but NATO will certainly be stronger as a result and Putin has no one but himself to blame.

Russia sure isn't winning it. He is now preventing people from leaving the country because they might avoid the draft. The Iron Curtain is back.
