They Lied, Americans Died
BeaverFever replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Fake news. Heitke didn’t say anyone died or that anyone was actually confirmed to be a terrorist. Just more of your republican fake news propaganda that you gullible suckers eat up. So the only lie is from you and Kirk “They lied Americans died” is basically the story of Bush’s fraudulent Iraq invasion. Thousands of US casualties. Hundreds of thousands or Iraqi casualties. Billions of taxpayer dollars, creation of ISIS, worldwide terrorist attacks, etc. Its also the story of Reagan and Republicans funding the Taliban and Al Qaeda because they thought it was a clever way to kept the Soviets out of Afghanistan and the Middle East It s also the story of Reagan and Bush 1 creating the US crack cocaine epidemic and drug cartels in Latin and South America when they thought it would be really smurrt to flood their own country with cocaine and use the drug money to arm their favourite right wing death squads and dictators. -

After they get your guns, they take your words

Well, at least you admit “your words” are disinformation. Admitting you have a problem is always the first step. -
AFAIK the visual display doesn’t have to be via VR googles to be considered FPV, it can be a traditional screen

I think switchblade would fall into this category. Poland has something called Warmate. There are a few others, depending on how you define it. More details… So reading between the lines, maybe a quality control issue rather than a faulty design issue? DND confirms malfunction of new anti-tank missiles heading to Latvia There were problems with five out of eight of the new Canadian Forces anti-tank missiles. Get the latest from David Pugliese, Ottawa Citizen straight to your inbox Published Dec 05, 2024 • Last updated 5 hours ago • 3 minute read More than half of the new anti-tank missiles received by the Canadian military didn’t function properly during testing, the Department of National Defence has confirmed. The federal government spent U.S. $32 million ($45 million Canadian) to purchase Spike anti-tank missiles for use by Canadian Forces personnel in Latvia. But the National Post reported on Nov. 26 that there were problems with those missiles and concerns they were not performing as required. The National Post noted that DND was considering cancelling the contract. This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. DND spokesperson Nick Drescher Brown said there are no plans to cancel the Spike missile contract with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, an Israeli company. But the department did acknowledge ongoing problems with the Spike LR2 missiles. “During Initial Cadre Training conducted by the company on July 15-16, 2024, five out of eight missiles experienced functionality issues,” Drescher Brown confirmed to the Ottawa Citizen. “We continue to work closely with the equipment manufacturer to identify and address the root cause of these issues.” Drescher Brown did not go into detail about the specific problems affecting the missiles. But he noted that no one was injured nor were there any safety concerns associated with the firings. “All safety protocols built into the equipment performed exactly as expected,” he added. Rafael did not respond to a request for comment. In February 2023, the Ottawa Citizen reported that the Canadian Army was fast-tracking its purchase of the anti-tank weapons as well as air defence systems for troops stationed in Latvia. The equipment was classified as an Urgent Operational Requirement, the same process used during the Afghanistan war to quickly obtain gear without going through the slower traditional procurement procedures. This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. Drescher Brown said in the interest of getting the new missiles quickly for the Latvia mission, no live-fire tests or demonstrations were performed during the selection process. “This technical risk was assessed and deemed acceptable as all of the potential bidders had delivered thousands of units of this product to other customers by that point in time,” he said. The ongoing issues affect both the missiles and launchers. “While deliveries of these new systems for deployed Canadian Battle Group members in Latvia has been delayed slightly, until the equipment manufacturer implements the required changes to ensure that these systems function as intended, full operational capability remains on schedule for January 2026,” Drescher Brown added. No details were provided by DND on when the needed changes for the Spike systems are expected to be completed. Canadian soldiers are in Latvia as part of the Canadian-led NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group to deter Russian aggression in the region. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced in July 2023 that, as part of a major commitment to NATO, Canada would spend an additional $2.6 billion to double the number of troops it stationed in Latvia. The government’s plan would see up to 2,200 troops deployed for what is being called Operation Reassurance. This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. This is not the first time the Canadian military examined the purchase of modern anti-tank weapons. In 2005 the then-Liberal government had approved $194 million for the purchase of either the Israeli-made Spike missile or the American-build Javelin system. Companies put their bids in to provide 840 missiles and more than 100 firing systems. Test firings of both weapons were conducted. But a year later the bids were rejected as the Canadian Army determined it didn’t have enough information to figure out whether the weapons would be effective on the battlefield. The project then went by the wayside. Both Spike and Javelin missiles are in service with multiple nations. Javelin has been used extensively in Ukraine while Spike variants have been used in conflicts in Gaza, Iraq, Lebanon and during the second Nagorno-Karabakh war. https://ottawacitizen.com/news/national/defence-watch/dnd-canadian-forces-anti-tank-missiles-latvia

I believe she said Fred Trump withheld affection, from both kids and the family in general. He berated them constantly and made his temporary approval conditional on them displaying certain behaviours like dominating others and encouraged unhealthy competition and bullying, between them. Fred Jr was least favoured because daddy thought he was too “soft” and rewarded Trump’s bullying of his older brother. But Donald was not spoiled in terms of being showered with affection, he was just slightly better off than his brother. He was only spoiled in the sense that like all insanely rich people he had an army of flunkies to pave the road in front of him, clean ip messes behind him and do things like write him fake medical certificates for non-existent bone spurs so he could dodge the draft Family dysfunction Well-to-do from the small fortune Fred’s brothel-keeper father had made, this unhappy Trump family was unhappy in its own way, all five siblings warped by its oppressive frigidity, “but my uncle Donald and my father, Freddy, suffered more than the rest.” In her telling, a critical shift came one night when Donald was 2 1/2. His mother nearly died from post-partum complications, was hospitalized for months and “never completely recovered.” Finally back home, she was … weird — an insomniac “wandering around the House at all hours like a soundless wraith… In the morning her children sometimes found her unconscious in unexpected places.” “Unstable and needy,” she used “her children to comfort herself rather than comforting them.” And so, as a result of his mother’s de facto abandonment and his father’s disengaged failure to “make him feel safe or loved [or] valued,” Donald developed “powerful but primitive defenses” — a willful callousness and “an increasing hostility to others … narcissism, bullying, grandiosity.” … That’s because, according to Mary Trump PhD, Fred Trump was a “sociopath” who taught his children that his affection for them “was entirely conditional.” One of his explicit conditions for approving of any Trump son was that he be a “killer.” And so Donald’s transgressions “became an audition for his father’s favor, as if he were saying ‘See, dad, I’m the tough one. I’m the killer.’ ” As when he obeyed Fred’s apparent order to drive up to Massachusetts and whack Freddy, who’d just achieved his dream of becoming a TWA pilot. “You know,” 18-year-old Donald told him, “dad’s really sick of you wasting your life.... He says he’s embarrassed by you ... Freddy, dad‘s right about you: you’re nothing but a glorified bus driver.” Freddy promptly became an alcoholic, got canned as a pilot, returned to the family business and ruined his marriage, finally living in his indifferent parents’ attic and dying from heart disease at 42 in 1981. Meanwhile, the “reckless hyperbole and unearned confidence” of his shameless younger brother, masks for “pathological weaknesses and insecurities,” were a perfect match for the manic, money-crazed, celebrity-obsessed perception-is-reality zeitgeist. In the 1980s he turned himself into famous Manhattan developer Donald Trump. https://enewspaper.latimes.com/infinity/article_share.aspx?guid=dffe646e-a537-4a02-a158-4e5c35356dae

Meh so many toxic conservatives are motivated by mommy or daddy issues. Look at Trump and his abusive father. Or PP and his (possibly indigenous) birthmother who gave him up at birth. And the ones that don’t have longstanding issues over parental rejection often have issues over being rejected by the opposite sex.

This Opposite-of-reality reporting brought to you by the crowd that brought you the fabricated justification for the Iraq war, the financial meltdown, Obama birther lies, so many lies that the terms “fake news” “gaslighting” and “alternative facts” became some of the most common expressions in the public lexicon, Putin and Orban adulation, blatant Trump/Kushner bribery and an attempt to steal the 2020 election and end US democracy permanently.

1) as has already been pointed out the commercially available cell data that Dsouza and his con artists an obtain through legal data brokers is not that accurate for security reasons and it can be off by as much as 1000 meters This is different from what law enforcement has available 2) as was already mentioned law enforcement uses it in conjunction with other evidence not by itself. 2000 Fools is based on nothing but massively inaccurate phone data, which he now admits is not linked to the camera footage, and the rest is completely fabricated claims

And yet if you’re a dumbass MAGA J6er who live tweets that you are storming the Capitol and your dumbass MAGA buddies have ratted you out for being there, but then you try to deny it when the authorities come, the cell data is legit evidence. And that pretty much fits the profile for hundreds of J6ers taking selfies inside the Capitol like complete mor0ns

LMAO you’re the dumbass that keeps falling for fake news whether from Convicted election fraudsters like D’Souza or bloodthirsty dictators like Putin. And you still falling for this crap that been debunked countless times over the years. And you’re too stupid to realize he stands by the conclusions even though he admits that the supposed evidence the conclusions were based on is bogus

Don’t just take my word for it, here’s what ChatGPT says: Some January 6 protestors were arrested in part based on cellphone geolocation data, but this was typically combined with other evidence, such as video footage, social media posts, and witness statements. Key Differences Between J6 Investigations and Claims in 2000 Mules 1. Precision of Geolocation Data: • For J6 cases, authorities used carrier-grade data obtained via subpoenas, which is typically more accurate (down to a few meters) than commercially available geolocation data used in 2000 Mules. • This data was often corroborated with video footage, unlike the claims in 2000 Mules. 2. Legal Process and Context: • Geolocation data in J6 cases was obtained under strict legal standards, such as court-approved subpoenas or warrants, ensuring its reliability. • The analysis was targeted to specific individuals based on evidence of their involvement. 3. Corroboration: • J6 investigations did not rely solely on geolocation data but used it as one piece of a larger puzzle. In contrast, 2000 Mules heavily leaned on geolocation data without sufficient corroborating evidence. Conclusion Yes, cellphone geolocation data was used in the arrest and prosecution of January 6 protestors, but it was part of a broader investigative strategy that included other forms of evidence. The reliability and accuracy of this data in the J6 cases were higher due to its source (carrier-grade data) and corroboration with other evidence, unlike the claims made in 2000 Mules.

That has been debunked 2 MILLION times. Cellphone geolocation data is not that accurate and a ping is split second signal so their so-called data (if they even ever had any) wouldn’t be able to differentiate between a phone that is sitting on top of a dropbox, one that was in a building next door to the building with the dropbox, and one that was speeding past a dropbox at 200mph in a car 500 feet away. Given that drop boxes are placed in high traffic areas like malls and libraries and public buildings where people work and pass through of course it would pick up the same signals repeatedly (again if they have any data at all - they refused to share their raw data or methodology) 1) It didn’t show her put in “a bunch of ballots”. There is no way of telling whether she is putting in more than one in at a time. It shows her go to the box, put what is probably ONE ballot in, then go back to the car and put what is probably one more in. In other words it could just be the ballots for her and her husband and she realized she left one in the car. This is a lie that 2,000 Fools makes often: footage of someone depositing a white rectangle that looks no different than one envelope while the narrator claims without basis it’s a stack of “3 or 4” envelopes, when there’s no way anyone could tell from distant security cam footage 2) no footage of anyone making repeated trips to the Dropbox, or visiting multiple dropboxes, which is 2000 Fools’ central claim The woman mentioned above didn’t drive away then come back with another load to make multiple drops on multiple days Remember a central claim is that EACH of the 2000 “mules” visited an average of 10 drop boxes so at least 20,000 “mule drops” and the only footage you could come up with is “one lady walked back to her car”. Remember 2 years ago D’Souza said he had more footage he would release soon. But he released nothing because as he admits now it was all a lie 3) no evidence of the supposed “democrat stash houses” where the supposed fake ballots were produced and distributed to the supposed mules Remember 2 years ago D’Souza said he had more footage he would release soon. But he released nothing because as he admits now it was all a lie 4) no evidence of any actual fake or fraudulent ballots being found n any of the failed witch-hunt audits the MAGAtards launched after the election. If ballot boxes were stuffed with fake ballots then where are they? The republican lies made the 2020 election the most audited election in history and all it proved was the Biden won fair and square.

Wow Great person to put in charge of schoolchildren. Then again Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert used wrestling as a pretext to groom and sexually assault boys for decades and the GOPedoohiles elevated him to one of the most powerful jobs in the country. And of course Trump had a decades-long close friendship with Epstein and used to publicly brag about their shared taste for women “on the younger side”

MAGA Filmmaker Trump Praised Admits 2020 Election Fraud Doc Was B.S. MAGA filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza issued a statement on Sunday admitting that his most notorious project — the 2020 election conspiracy film 2,000 Mules —- was produced “on the basis of inaccurate information provided to me and my team.” The statement includes an apology to Mark Andrews, a Georgia man who sued D’Souza, Salem Media Group, and True The Vote (his partners on the film) for defamation in 2022. …2000 Mules provided no concrete evidence related to their claims of ballot harvesting, paid mules, and stash houses for fraudulent ballots, instead relying on sensationalist accusations and conjecture to stir up conservative rage — and a profit. Profit it did, politically and financially. According to Salem Media Group, the film grossed over $10 million in revenue. Trump himself heavily promoted 2,000 Mules on social media, and even held a private screening of the “documentary” for his most outspoken election deniers at his Mar-a-Lago resort. The president-elect called the film “the greatest & most impactful documentary of our time,” going so far as to cite its claims in a personal rebuttal to the Jan. 6 investigative congressional hearings held in 2022….. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/dinesh-dsouza-admits-2000-mules-documentary-false-data-1235188932/ Even though the movie’s VERY OBVIOUS bogus claims and lies were debunked and discredited on day 1, I encourage everyone here to review the Trump supporting suckers and dupes in extreme denialism and self-delusion continued to be fooled and who defended the movie all the way to the bitter end:

Sure I can, not that MAGAs are sticklers for rules or definitions but here’s one for you: . “Woman” is a gender identity rather than biological sex therefore a woman is anyone whom society generally agrees is a woman. It’s the same way with race if you think about it Female is biological sex. Trump and Bolsonaro both attempted and failed to overturn a free and fair democratic election through undemocratic means
