  1. The UN was called upon in 1974 to create a mission, known as the United Nations Disengagement Observation Force (UNDOF), to supervise the cease-fire plan and to monitor the situation afterward. The plan created a buffer zone between the forces of the two countries. This zone, called an "Area of Separation," is 80 kilometres long and from one to 10 kilometres wide. It is mostly located in the area known as the Golan Heights. Inside this special area, no military presence is allowed other than UN observers. Beyond this zone there is an "Area of Limitation" where there are restrictions upon any military presence and the activity of Israeli and Syrian forces. The Canadians' primary role in Syria is to provide transportation, supply, maintenance, communications and other logistical support services for their fellow UN forces. Without these essential services, the larger UN peace forces could not continue their patrols and other vital activities that help stabilize the area. Define what you mean by "most" please.
  2. https://www.international.gc.ca/world-monde/international_relations-relations_internationales/mena-moan/strategy-strategie.aspx?lang=eng Just a question, does it take a long time to get the sand out of your ears? Must cost you a lot in toothbrushes.
  3. Hey look it's you! Very mature response btw, selective reading ftw! I think I'll do the same with what you say from now on
  4. Je me souviens ce qui ne me profite pas
  5. No, we departed that scene to clean up the mess some moron made over in iraq. I guess they dont have enough oil for you to care about though.
  6. Yes, Canada did not defeat isis because isis still exists. Put your head back in the sand, ostrich.
  7. First off, we pushed isis back to where they are now. But not that any of that matters to you. Secondly, I have heard another version of that story: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN19W1AW
  8. Those are not RCMP. Royal guard.
  9. Canada first.....NATO last. Fight the commies on your own then.
  10. I'd be happy to. Just clear up these matters and I'll get right on it. https://m.ranker.com/list/most-unforgivable-things-the-catholic-church-has-done/lea-rose-emery https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malleus_Maleficarum All things associated with the fleur de lis.
  11. Probably not nearly as painful as a cilice.
  12. That wasn't honour killing.
  13. Wasn't jesus the original honour killing?
  14. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Multiculturalism_Act Well I guess that's just toilet paper then. Also, i might add, it's quite ironic that quebecers have cried since 1774 about how their culture is so important and yet they are seeking to destroy others rights to theirs. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quebec_Act
  15. If they are forced then yes, I do not agree with that. If they wish to wear it then I dont see why they should not be allowed to.
  16. Yeah sidestep that russia is not a threat as you said earlier and that we placed sanctions on russia at America's request. Much easier to call us deadbeats and throw us under a bus.
  17. In 2014, following Russia's military intervention in Ukraine, all NATO members pledged to meet the 2% target by 2024. At that time only three countries -- the US, Greece and the UK -- met the requirement. yeah, ostrich. Nice view.
  18. Did you know the symbol on Quebec's flag, the Fleur de Lis is a religious symbol? Think they are going to give that up anytime soon? Or how about the arms of Canada? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleur-de-lis Hypocrisy at work in the 21st century.
  19. We retain our commitment to NATO. Fighting terrorists is not what NATO is, regardless how much trump claims it is. Do you know why NATO was formed?
  20. We supported america against russia since 1946. And what do we get? Whining about how we don't contribute enough and are called deadbeats. Thrown under a bus by someone who does not even know the difference between a kurd and an Iraqi. Some allies.
  21. I would but with you in ostrich syndrome I get a rather comical view.
  22. No to mention the hyprocricy involved.
  23. As far as obstruction, the Mueller report laid out facts on both sides but did not reach a conclusion.
  24. https://www.historyextra.com/period/cold-war/did-cold-war-us-russia-relations-ever-really-end-soviet-union-america-tensions-nuclear-weapons/ When I see Putin and trump on a beach drinking pina coladas I'll buy that. Keep living in ostrich syndrome.
  25. And they use the Canadarm to repair their shuttles. So?
