Trump I see is now walking back his big old threat to close down the US Mexican border and agreeing to wait a year on that issue. I would guess people who actually understand things in the real world whispered in his ear and set him straight on that issue. I've been in a Walmart in TO where I was probably the minority, and I've been in a Hudson's Bay store in the Arctic where I certainly was the minority. In both cases I connected with the people whe were doing their shopping just as | was and the last thing it made me want to do was put up borders around neighborhoods. If anything it did the opposite.
