If you are fact checking the media, fact check all of them, and not just one isolated stories that run for a few days. For 2 years the bulk of the MSM ran with the story of Trump Collusion with Russia. It was investigated and there was no crime. The vast majority of the press got it wrong...…………….. Really wrong. I believe Daily Caller was pretty accurate on that issue over two years.

There's more evidence out now that Obama spied on Trump than there is of any Trump collusion or obstruction. The Obama Admin never had a legal predicate for Spying on Trump.

There's no hiding the Obama Spying anymore, it's coming out, that's why Washington swamp dwellers are desperate to get rid of William Barr. I'm not actually in favor of making Obama and Hillary the focus of the crimes, it will do too much harm to the country. The people that need to answer for these crimes are people like Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Comey, McCabe, Strzoks, to name a few. This isn't the first time the FBI has been found to be unable to handle their massive power without being corrupted by politicians.

For the last century at least, keeping the press in good graces has been important to all presidents. Not Trump, he goes right at them. Now that coup has failed, he has 3 years of false reporting as ammo to hit them with. Certainly different times.

Trump knew he was being spied on since a couple days after his election. He's just not advertising his knowledge or sources. Admiral Rogers, head of the NSA went to Trump Tower after the election and told him he was being spied on in Trump Tower. Over night and without explanation Trump moved his transition team to one of his private golf courses. Obama moved to fire Rogers, but didn't get it done. This all happened between November 10 and 20 of 2016.

Many Americans have joked for years that new Presidents are brought into a room day one, and played secret films of the JFK assassination. Because so many of them seem to become the Washington swamp and don't do what they ran on. Trump has done pretty well on his agenda, but there are two pieces he has not been able to accomplish, repeal of Obamacare and border security. However, the economy in America is great right now, just what Trump said he would do, and he's done it largely by reducing nonsense regulations that hamper business. The corporate press are an extension of the power brokers in Washington DC and Wall Street. See WMD in Iraq circa 2003. Well, the corporate media hates Trump and is doing everything they can to get rid of him. I take this as a good indication he is still his own man.

Generally we agree in Western culture that politicians are corrupt, why would we always go to them for leadership ?

It's not a religion either, more so it's a political movement. Islam needs to be classified as a political movement, and rightly so, because Islam demands to laws of the Koran be followed over the laws of secular states. When you understand that Islam is a political system, everything becomes clearer.

Trump has opened the door for a wide diversity of people to run for POTUS who just a few years ago would not have had a chance because they were not career politicians. I agree. There is an international push back against globalization at the core of all of it. Globalization has sacrificed the working class of the Western World, and concentrated wealth in the hands of Neo-Liberal Mercantilists. This is push back from the working class.

In reality, the Trump presidency is stronger than ever. His presidency is not dying. He has generally been effective in moving his agenda ahead.
