  1. He doesn't realize it, because he's too busy undergoing cognitive dissonance to notice reality. Instead he wants to cling to his faulty perception that his ideology and dogma are common sense and have nothing to do with America, because he is so attached to it, that it would destroy the house of cards he builds that ideology on if he acknowledged reality, so he goes full ostrich. Confirmation bias is a helluva drug.
  2. No, I mean the idea originated and was popularized in America, then Canadians ran with it, they didn't invent it, that's an American import and it's far from the only example, but you just want to pretend no examples exist, so you keep manufacturing dumb reasons to claim it isn't imported from America when it obviously is and anyone paying attention would know that.
  3. Seriously dude, you need to look into the origins of what Canadian lefties say, and stop assuming that none of it was borrowed from Americans. It is as plain as day to anyone who isn't completely blinded by left wing bias.
  4. Black Lives Matter and that is far from the only talking point Canadian Progressives took from Americans. All you have to do to know what idea I'm talking about was to read bush_cheney's post. Clearly I was responding in that context and you are just deflecting by feigning ignorance when I responded to your response, to his response.
  5. That's because you wouldn't know what the right is if it slapped you in the face. You buy into left wing strawmen of what the right is, and confuse it with the real mccoy.
  6. The idea originated in America, and only after that did Canadian Progressives pick it up and run with it. You acting like it didn't is what is retarded.
  7. The follow the tune set by Americans, even if they are unaware of it due to massive blinders.
  8. I don't project my views on the right the way you project your views on the left, you think the left shares your views and do so out of "common sense", I don't think that right shares mine.
  9. They came from progressive Americans, only after it was popularized in America did Canadian Progressives pick that talking point up and run with it. Acting like Canada didn't import that shit from America is being willfully ignorant.
  10. Pointing out that differences exist does not negate the similarities or the use of common talking points that originated in America. Your tunnel vision is very apparent, and you refuse to look beyond your blinders while indulging your confirmation bias.
  11. Eyeball's been living under a rock, he doesn't have a clue where these talking points are coming from, he thinks the Canadian Left made them all up on their own through "common sense". He's also a knee-jerk anti-American who refuses to believe the left in America and Canada are linked in any way, because then he'd have to question what he calls "common sense", instead of being able to pretend all the left wing kooks who do exist happen to be American and all the Canadian Left Wing Parties are just following "common sense".
  12. Democrats and Liberals, Democrats and New Democrats, Democrats and Greens. All on the left, all use the same talking points quite often. The fact that you think there is a meaningful difference between these groups, and that when bushcheney points out examples of them pushing the same ideological nonsense as the American Left, you just say "try harder", you are the one who has to be kidding.
  13. That is how you will dismiss any proof that the left in America and Canada very often use the same talking points. Reality be damned, if it doesn't fit your confirmation bias, you just put your head in the sand and believe what you want to believe regardless of the facts.
  14. Well when the only party offering notably lower immigration levels only wins a seat, if that, it will be obvious that it's more than just progressives who didn't vote PPC. It won't just be a smallish cadre of progressives, it will be the vast majority of Canadians. Same applies to support of a capable military, Canadians don't care, and that's why it's never going to happen. They might say they want it in polls, but when the details become clear, they won't pay for it or support it. What they consider to be a capable military, is a joke, and what they consider to be lower immigration levels, will likewise be a joke with no real difference from current policy. If you think most Canadians will agree with your immigration or military policies, that's some mighty wishful thinking not actually based on reality and won't ever be reflected in the way that Canadians actually vote, you campaign for a lost cause.
  15. Yeah, this navy thing, what is that? I've definitely never heard of that before..... Keep deflecting with non-sequiturs, lulz.
  16. Wrong. They would have to rely on Poland and Romania. Turkey ain't that important, they've become redundant, but that doesn't mean America should get in the middle of their pissing contest with the Kurds, that's still a dumb idea.
  17. Nah, you're left wing bias is just showing. /shrugs
  18. The right has plenty of good ideas, and it's the left that can't come up with any ideas to save their lives, all they have is Orange Man Bad.
  19. Just because they are less pro-war than the Democrats doesn't mean they don't steal the vast majority of their talking points, especially on domestic issues. Democrat Farm Team is obvious, if you can't find any evidence of that, you aren't looking for it, or you're deep in denial.
  20. If it's untrue, then how come people keep voting for people who want to cut the military? Riddle me that, wishful thinker.
  21. China is in worse shape the America, tunnel visioning on America's weaknesses and ignoring China's leads to terrible analysis. American influence is not waning, you're perception is the opposite of reality. China are communists, and the Nazi's were socialists. Ethnonationalists can be socialists, and inserting some token capitalism into a communists system doesn't make it not communist. China's influence has been overstated and they are nowhere close to overtaking American any time soon.
  22. That's most of the country, most are opposed to paying for a poorly-equipped military and flat out refuse to pay for a well-equipped military. Welcome to Canada.
  23. America is becoming more powerful economically, it's influence is not waning, and Communism ain't taking over the world when they can't even take over their region. When times get tough, China takes a worse beating than America, not the other way around. China is a paper tiger.
  24. The media has Trump Derangement Syndrome, don't trust world headlines written by Trump Haters trying to make him look bad when things are actually going swimmingly. America is ascendant, Manifest Destiny is manifest and accelerating as it goes.
  25. Once they conquered North America, then they set their sights on the rest of the world, no need to conquer de facto American territories and annex them. Woodrow Wilson knows, Manifest Destiny is destiny. Manifest Destiny through Flight to Quality works even better than Manifest Destiny through Ethnic Cleansing, who knew?
