Actually if you've been following the Leafs they have been doing very well in months that they haven't been doing well in for the last six years.. Leafs are currently the youngest team in the NHL player age wise so mistakes are going to be made...plus most of our team has been off and on the injured reserve list ..yet we are still 15-10-3 that is a damn good record for losing our number 1 goalie for a month and a half Future looks bright with Frattin, Colborne, Gardiner, Franson We will make the playoffs this year ... just not sure how deep we're gonna make it but I don't care! we're gonna make the playoffs!!!

Every 8 MPs out of 10 members of his government want a referendum on staying in the EU ...facing intense pressure from them and the EU ...must not be a great time to be Mr Cameron, but he's making the right choices here I believe.. London will be severely hurt should this go through...he needs to call a referendum and get the hell out of the EU Plus it always gives me great glee to know Sarkozy is pissed off http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20111208-718156.html BRUSSELS(Dow Jones)--The European Union won't pursue a treaty change aimed at improving national budget policies due to opposition from the U.K., French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Friday. Speaking after over 10 hours of meetings, Sarkozy said that instead, up to 25 nations would sign an intergovernmental agreement to tighten the bloc's budget policies. A Brussels source said that Hungary is still considering whether to participate or not. "It's a choice from our friends in the United Kingdom, and we respect that choice," Sarkozy said. The governments agreed to a number of other measures to fight the debt crisis, including providing EUR200 billion in loans to the IMF to bolster the troubled euro-zone debt market, Sarkozy said. He emphasized the European Central Bank's Thursday announcement that it would provide unlimited loans to banks of up to 36 months at low rates. The move will in fact help governments struggling to borrow money amid the current market turmoil, he said. "One doesn't have to be a great expert to understand that tomorrow, thanks to the decisions of the central bank, the Italian government could ask Italian banks to finance part of its debt at rates that are incontestably less high than the market rates today," Sarkozy said. "I ask myself whether everyone has well understood the significance of the decisions that were taken by the central bank," he added.

Mackay busted in a lie about the helicopter of doom
olp1fan replied to olp1fan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The NDP and Liberals have no choice but to go after corruption in the government if they want to prove to the Canadian population they are good for something MacKay has more to lose here than the opposition which is why MacKay was flown out of the country at the last second -
