  1. I don't believe in it, but have no problem with it. Let the muslims live how they want in their own communities amongst their own muslim kind. That is what a multicultural mosaic is all about. If you are intolerant too bad. Lots of white europeans say things I don't like, but doesn't mean I can do anything. I don't like how the Ku Klux Klan and Neo Nazi talks but what can I do about, nothing. I understand this is white culture and how most whites behave in general when there are no colored folks around. Same goes for radical muslims.

Notice its an asian mother pushing this about Alberta bad math system because he daughter doesn't perform well enough because its not tailored to her asian culture. How ironic is that, when not given route memorization clear path instructions on how to solve the answer and get to the answer, asian students perform poorly. She is a doctor so one would imagine her child would be smart, or she could help the kid or hire a tutor, but nope, asian tutor can't help you be more creative or teach you how to problem solve. You even see the same thing with China. They manufacture almost all of the world's goods, but invent nearly none of them despite being 1/6th world population and the largest economy. Their cultures allow them to memorize a large set of facts due to them not having an alphabet, so every word must be individually memorized, stroke by stroke with up to 13 stroke PER WORD. For instance, there have been 36,000 patents in ALL of China. Compared to 45,500 patents in Maryland. When you look how tiny Maryland is and how huge China is, there is no explanation for this other than Chinese culture lacks creativity. I truly believe their culture makes them great at memorizing, poor at solving problems. People want to say its the style of teaching. Well guess what, when you are conducting research, there is no guidelines, everything is open ended, you don't know where things are going to go. There is no teacher holding your hand to tell you how to memorize the experiment to find the solution to your research project. So might as well start them off young to weed out the less creative minds. I have found that Asians who work under me, need exact specific instructions and if you don't give it to them, its like they lack the common sense other canadians do. Many of my colleagues have found the same, HR gets so many complaints, we don't even hire asians any more. Its just white, black and jew and the occasional indian.

Rarely do you find some teacher who is actually fully fluent and goes into teaching. Languages and expression change and different accents and the fact that people tend to forget them over time too all of that is why board's give the schools translators. so again you are completely off the mark. If whites couldn't see in light of clear and open racial hatred apartheid style laws that we can all agree are bias, if whites couldn't detect that then, why should anyone believe whites have in the span of 50 years have developed the ability to not only detect racism which they couldn't detect in the past but far more subtle forms of racist behaviour? The likelihood of that is very very low. I don't know if you have seen it or not. It is entirely possible you never seen it. You may have worked in a 90% white town, with only whites teachers. I don't know your situation. It is also entirely possible it occured in front of your eyes and you do not have the ability to detect it. 85% of whites couldn't detect clearly open racist laws and practices in the 1960s. There is no reason to believe they have all of a sudden become experts on detecting this. And again, if I am exaggerating, why are 50% teachers of color agreeing that racism in promotion and treatment is the norm.
  10. I don't dispute this. Its not racist that the best white teacher's go to the white schools. Its racist that they dump all the underqualified white teachers into a community with hardly any white kids where they just ruin their chance of education which is suppose to be the equalizer for the poor.
  11. Well Big Guy, that is music to my ears, but all the objective research demonstrates in Canada, hiring is a closed market. 80% or so of the hiring is done through informal unadvertised networks. In fact when I graduated, I did an interview, and it went perfectly, the v.p. couldn't find a single reason to disqualify me. I knew who there 3 largest clients were, their company motto, could speak the lingo, knew what rates they charged and what they ate for breakfast too. He called me 2 weeks later and told me he'd hire me in the next opening because the spot was already predetermined before the interview for an internal candidate (another managers son) and the interview was just done due to company policy requiring interviews regardless. I later learned this person was grossly underqualified, not just in ratio to me but to other applicants as well. This is how business works in Canada, people would rather an underqualified person they know than risk having a bad relation with a qualified person. And you commentary raises a whole host of other questions, mainly what determines the "best" candidate. I had the same credentials as everyone else working in my industry, in fact often the others had more degrees or higher education than I. In fact often the teacher hired is the opposite of that. My brother is a teacher, and frequently majority principles will hire of a similar ethnic background, irregardless of the needs just to ensure they don't become a "minority". Ie. an Indian principal, will often make sure the staff is at least 50% south asian, even if it is a chinese area to makesure the chinese teachers don't gang up on him/her and complain. Principles like most business people tend to go with agenda over merit. You see it all the time. That is why you get a bunch of white teachers in areas where 95% of white torontonians wouldn't never want to live. And typically they are terrible schools. The parents constantly complain about bad white teachers, the white teachers don't get the culture, a bunch of cultural misunderstandings occur and the teachers often end up suspended and in deep trouble. The kids don't respect nor like them and think they are racist. Its an all round lose, no one wins under such a system, just the principle who gets to stay entrenched in their position for fear a minority-majority staff would stage some fantasy coup-d'etat against them, Ironically the best white teachers, like the ones teaching in the private schools and good suburban schools want nothing to do with the minority schools, so they become dumping ground for bad white teachers, only creating more hostility on all sides. Although I am way deep right now, we do have an issue of white principles meeting white quotas. I do agree the best teacher should be hired. But lets be realistic, good white teachers AVOID minority-majority areas, whites dislike being in the minority.

  13. The white british government had already recognized squatters rights. Under the white man's own law they couldn't steal land from a land owner. Most people never had any documents for land ownership back then anyways. Most people could not read or write including most whites. And its untrue, that they never formally stated they owned a piece of land, they disputed it but whites ignored or sent in the rcmp to remove them. There was no law passed that allows government to steal land from private indian citizens.

Given that non-hispanic whites are 62% of the population and have higher homeowner rates than non-whites, its actually a pretty good number. whites are probably 70%+ of homeowners, it means more non-whites were losing their homes. It means between blacks, hispanics and asians who combine to maybe 30% of the population they were losing 44% of their homes.
  16. Pleading guilty cannot minimize bad PR. You are admitting to discriminating against someone. You can't get worse PR than that. Was the company facing life in prison? A plea deal is only cheaper if you are found guilty. Because if you are not guilty you can recover your legal cost civilly. Your belief that the only way to prove discrimination is based on reading people's mind's is senseless. We judge people on their discriminatory acts not their minds. It doesn't make sense why you are giving people with the same income and credit scores different deals based on race. Your comment is illogical. You judge based on the act. If you have people with similar situations but only difference is race we can infer its racial discrimination if there is a pattern of discrimination in exact same situations. So if every time a black goes in he gets a hire rate than the white who goes in with the same income and credit score, we can determine it is indeed discrimination. Even if preferential treatment was given in lending to minorities it is still discrimination (this didn't occur here) you cannot give special rates based on races. There is no way they can be sued for giving everyone subprime loans, they are not illegal. I'm not interested in debating that water is wet with you.

Just like how many colonialized countries countinue to use white European court system types or white european systemsof government and democracy and media, they also continue to use white european racism and hatred. That is the thing, racism is a system. And if you don't understand that, you can never dismantle it. You can put 100 well meaning non-racist whites into a racist system, but the system will ensure a racist outcome. Heck you could even put 100 blacks into a racist system that was racist towards blacks, you'd still et a racist outcome. If you can't understand systemic racism, you cannot understand racism. The caste system is a good example of a racist system. Even if the president is an untouchable the dark indians are still oppresed by the system. Look at Jim crow America, even if the president is black, the blacks still get unfair shake in lending as posted in my other thread, same income, same job and credit score, higher rates of interest. Global white supremacy is indeed a white issue. When you have carribeans disenfranchising white carribeans then you can talk about non-white racism.

Although I did previously address that and you can go look back at those post which show whites have the highest per capita crime rates and 100 million whites have been arrested in the usa (more than the entire population of most black nations) and there are less whites than blacks in the world. If China has more total crime than fiji but less per capita, can I not ask why there is a chinese violence problem without you constantly saying fiji, fiji fiji fiji, look at fiji. Ok but there are 100 threads on fiji, can we talk about china and you say no fiji fiji fiji. This is what its becoming, you still haven't answered the central question of the thread, what is the cause of white violence problem. Stop beating around the bush and mentioning other groups. This thread is about whites, if you don't want to talk about white violence just leave because you aren't answering the question. Look at the title. Have you explained why there is a white racial violence problem? Nope. You have talked about everything but that. If you don't want to answer the question just leave. Why are you trying to derail the thread?
  21. Typically when you have alot of money you don't have to plead guilty, unless you are guilty. This isn't the first bank the 12th major one in 7 years. The other things is corporations are known for notoriously fighting tooth and nail against any discrimination case. They only plead guilty because the evidence is so overwhelming. Further you offer no explanation on how "If you were black or Hispanic and wanted a home loan, a number of banks put you on a separate, more expensive track regardless of your credit score and gainful employment." How do you explain this, it doesn't need an answer they plead guilty. But it does give insight into your mind. It is very hard to get convicted on a discrimination claim because typically the company can lie and say it was for some other reason, but when you have it occuring and no other reason can be identified... same credit scores, same income, same job, there is no way to explain it. In some cases you have a black and white who work side by side, same job, same pay, same credit scores and assets different rates.
  22. This is about the 12th or so lender in the last 7 years who has settled a case for discrimination against lending for blacks and hispanics. Some whites are not racist and actually have a good concept of what is going on like Tim Wise. There are black who embrace white supremacy and are ironically more racist than whites. In fact often the most effective white racism comes from using a black puppet.
