  1. Most of the people in the western world nominally belonged to one of those three religions, either Jews, nominal Christians (Romanism) or Muslims. We are talking about hundreds of millions of people in the world.
  2. History is not that simple. You can't just generalize about large segments of the population like that. Many things happened throughout history. I am sure there were a lot of people that did good things down through the ages. But there were a lot of bad things that happened even in the 20th century. Like the Third Riech, Nazis, Communist revolutions, and many genocides in parts of the world too. Man has after all a fallen, corrupt heart. The Bible tells us that when Adam and Eve rebelled against God, they and all their descendants received a fallen corrupt nature, including us.
  3. It should also be mentioned that before the Reformation, ordinary people did not have a Bible. Bibles simply were only in the hands of church clergy and were written in Latin until after the 16th or 17th century. Rome even forbade its people from owning or reading Bibles until recent times. The Reformation in the 16th century and the invention of printing presses changed that for some people in Britain the northern Europe and parts of Germany, but that was a slow process over centuries. Not everyone escape the control of Rome either. Lots of bad things happened in the 16 to 19th centuries in parts of Europe; wars and brutality. People were just not as civilized and did not recognize human rights until relatively recently in the west.
  4. I don't support any of those things that happened in history. It is all completely contrary to the Bible. People doing those kind of things were not Bible believers. That should be clear. Jesus never taught anyone to do those kind of things. As I have pointed out before, the Holy Roman Empire ruled the world for 1,500 years with an iron fist. Many of the followers of that system did rule the world brutally. One example is the Holy Roman Inquisition that lasted at least 400 years through the middle ages. Many other things happened like burning of witches. These things had nothing to do with what Jesus taught. I believe the Bible, not what those kind of people believed during the Holy Roman Empire. Lots of bad things happened in history in all kinds of places. We can't change history. I don't know of anyone in any church, including Romanist churches, today who would agree with any of those things you mentioned. That is just not the way it is in modern times. You really need to think and study a little. Digging up dirt from centuries ago and trying to link it to people today is ludicrous, especially since the Bible opposes all that. If one is truly following the Bible, they will not think anything like what you described is acceptable. It would be condemned. You may know I am very opposed to Romanism because it is contrary to the Bible to begin with. It is a man-made religion. So when you paint everyone with the same brush, you are not acting justly and should consider your thinking.
  5. Beware of those who oppose or speak against the reality of God but claim to have the answers to everything. " 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy 3:5 KJV "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" 1 Peter 5:8 KJV
  6. "7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7 KJV "6 A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth." Proverbs 14:6 KJV I notice you comment on everything, but have no knowledge about the most basic and essential thing in the universe, God. How does that work when you profess to have the answer to everything?
  7. Everything in the world has a religious connection, i.e. God. Nothing exists without God having created it. That includes man: "26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. " Genesis 1:26-28 KJV Aren't you glad God created you so you can live, breath, and talk on here?
  8. Death and taxes for certain, but God also for certain. Just look around at the creation and you have to admit it could never happen without God.
  9. There are some things that are 100% certain:- God, his written revelation, the Holy Bible, and death followed by judgment. see Hebrew 9:27 KJV Never say you were not warned.
  10. Jesus was crucified on a cross by sinful men and paid the price for our sins, was raised from the dead the third day and now sitteth on the right hand of God interceding on our behalf till he comes again.
  11. Why do you want to hug-a-criminal and let them go free? You don't make any sense as usual.
  12. Bring back capital punishment for murderers especially murderers of police officers and prison guards. Stop the soft-on-crime agenda of the liberals and NDP.
  13. Party preference is important because some parties are more hostile to God and his written revelation than others. I understand we should support the least undesirable party. The problem is the major parties are all somewhat under the influence of demonic powers and are part of the world system. This is why some religious people will have nothing to do with politics. I can understand their point of view too. The important thing is our relationship to God. We see the consequences of people who oppose God and his written revelation in our country. But we cannot separate our relationship with God from politics. Many think our religious beliefs can be kept completely separate from politics, but that is not possible because politics are a moral issue.
  14. You are disrespectful to God who created you. You need to get down on your knees Eyeball and beg for forgiveness while God still gives you the breath and ability to do that. Being arrogant or cheeky about God will not serve you well. Remember you are a mere speck in the universe and God is all powerful. He is also merciful and willing to forgive if you accept his Son and believe on Him. I would bet many of the aboriginals that live in your area would even disagree with you and think you are on the wrong track. Many of them have more common sense.
  15. Trudeau just gave a tear-jerking speech expressing his condolences to the family who lost a police officer this morning. He says the government will do everything they can to keep police officers safe. Do you believe him? Do you think he is sincere and telling the truth?
  16. Another report this morning about an OPP officer being killed and two others injured and in hospital. Party leaders issue their sympathies of course. But what have the Liberals and NDP done to actually prevent these killings from happening? In spite of police chiefs and premiers across Canada pleading for something to be done to stop the catch and release of dangerous offenders and the general soft-on-crime liberal policies, nothing has been done. They are still dragging their feet, but are quick to issue their sympathies when another one is killed. When are they going to act? Less talk and more action.
  17. No they were not doing the right thing. Just because they were cooperating with each other doesn't prove they were doing the right thing. They were completely wrong. The people of Babel were not following God and were seriously misguided. Did you read the passage I quoted from Genesis 11:6- KJV ? They thought they could be like God and build a tower to heaven. They were wrong. Do you not see the similarity with man today, many of whom think they can be like God and control the climate. This is foolishness and will do no good. But will cause a lot of harm.
  18. Many liberals, leftists, and globalists are acting just like the people of Babel in ancient times. They are fear-mongering and claiming we must control the climate, we must control the climate. They think they are like God. They are babblers and fit the description perfectly.
  19. Way back in history several thousand years ago man thought they were like God and tried to build a tower to heaven. God showed them who God is by confounding their language and dispersing them throughout the world. It was called the tower of Babel. We see where the word babble came from. Today there are many babblers. "4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. {Babel: that is, Confusion} " Genesis 11:4-9 King James Bible
  20. This might come as a surprise to you, but man cannot control the climate and never will. God is in control of the climate, movement of the planets and the radiation from the sun. We are mere specs in the universe and not gods in spite of what liberals and lefties think.
  21. The problem is the Liberal Party is mainly represented by a core group of elite liberals located in the Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto 905 triangle. They strongly believe they have the right to dictate the culture, beliefs, and history of all Canadians from coast to coast to coast. This will never be accepted because Canada is very diverse and view Canada from many different points of view and from places thousands of kilometers from the liberal triangle. Many Canadians removed from the liberal world can see the phoniness of what they are attempting to do and will not accept it. They are making a huge mistake in trying to social engineer 40 million Canadians into their world view. They were never elected to force Canadians into their mold of thinking.
  22. Everyone has a soul. The question is where is it going, heaven or hell? Only Jesus saves. In spite of all Dougie's and my warts, we believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior which means we don't have to worry what happens in this world or the next. We will not be condemned when we leave for a better place.
  23. Funny how it took someone in Arkansas, who wrote this letter, to see how Canada is being destroyed from within while many Canadians can't see what is happening around them. We are like a goose (or beaver) being slowly boiled in a pot of water without knowing it.
  24. So you don't believe in borders, immigration controls, the Canadian Forces, national security, and putting Canadians first and respecting our historical roots? That is pretty radical. Where will your welfare cheques come from when it is all gone?
  25. This is just a reminder that Trudeau Liberals are really erasing Canadian history and creating a post-national state. That is one reason Trudeau spends a lot of taxpayer money jetting around the world shaking hands with every globalist he can find and donating our money to every possible foreign cause possible. We are supposed to think of Canada as an international or globalist land with no borders.
