  1. Microsoft News (MSN) comment section refuses to post completely benign comments that should never be disallowed. They run it like Communist China would. On an article on the old growth forest dispute in B.C., I simply said "Mother Earth worshipers are worshiping a false god or something similar and they reject it. Under abortion articles, I tried to state abortion is killing or something similar and it is never permitted. Freedom of speech is being denied in Canada. They are already obeying the federal government CRTC and the spirit of bills C10 and C36 that liberals are promising to bring in. Real Marxist dictatorship.
  2. You might be able to find the detailed data via a search engine. I don't know. I am not an NDP supporter, but I have no reason for disbelieving Dr. Henry. She is not a politician; she is working for the government as Chief medical officer for the province I believe (or some such title). I think she is the most popular medical authority in Canada. She will probably receive some hero's awards and Order of Canada when this is all over.
  3. Dr. Bonnie Henry was just talking about this now on CTV news. She is still talking about it. Unvaccinated people are definitely at far greater risk of hospitalization and death.
  4. There are so many people booing Trudeau at his campaign stops it is becoming embarrassing for Trudeau and his liberal-controlled media. This has to be a bad sign for Trudeau.
  5. Just heard during this election that the Trudeau government signed a 100 million dollar deal with a Chinese company and the two Michaels are still being held. Again this proves the Liberals' love for the basic China dictatorship. They must be defeated in this election before they drag Canada further down the sewer.
  6. We will never get broad consensus on vaccination because there is a core of anti-vaxxers who do not listen to reason. I know several of them personally. I tried to talk to several and it is like beating your head against a brick wall. Some of them are Dutch immigrants and some are their children. Others are not Dutch. One boasts he proudly will not put a poison in his body. This is something the rest of us, perhaps 90% of the population, will just have to live with. I don't believe in mandatory vaccination for the general public, but I believe certain professions, occupations, and companies, medical profession, should make vaccination mandatory. So let's not waste time worrying about them or trying to convince those kind of people. It is a waste of time and energy. I believe the government that is mandating vaccination for health care workers and certain others is doing the right thing. I think if Canada achieves 85% or more they will be doing well. But we may have to live with Covid in our society indefinitely. I don't see any reason why it will disappear when we have people including unvaccinated children who will continue spreading it. That means masks, social distancing, and certain restrictions will exist indefinitely.
  7. Liberal Gender Equity Minister Maryam Monsef just referred to the Taliban as "OUR BROTHERS"! And subsequently tried to soften the impact of this comment by referring to the words as a cultural reference. Trudeau, when asked if he is going to condemn the words "our brothers", said Monsef has already clarified it. Really? Can he just brush that off so easily? Monsef reportedly in her immigration process said she was from Afghanistan but later it was found she was from Iran. She also said once she found something about Sharia Law interesting. Hmmm. I think Trudeau's backing this minister will cost him dearly in this election.
  8. The Kootenays is beautiful country. I don't go to Starbucks. Mostly younger yuppie types go to Starbucks. Tim's has everything I like and is probably less expensive than Starbucks.
  9. Canada is making a certain contribution of vaccine to give to other countries. And the U.S. is also making large contributions to help other countries. But the world is made up of many countries. We don't have the resources to vaccinate the whole world. It takes an effort by many other countries to get the job done. There are perhaps several hundred countries in the world. In the meantime, Canada has the resources to at least look after it's own citizens and that is where it's priority should be, not in trying to give what Canada needs to the rest of the world, which is impossible to do alone. We have the standard of living and the resources to at least get the job done with our own people while contributing something to some other countries, but not all. That has to be a joint effort by many countries. By the way, I don't drink and don't go to bars. I drink decaf at home and go through Tim Horton's drive thru. I take more precautions than most people and have to because of my health.
  10. It's quite simple really. The safety of the population trumps personal freedom, which is why we have countless laws and requirements for everything under the sun. Nobody has the right to endanger the health or life of other people in society.
  11. Recently the news has reported that officials of the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) strongly recommended that countries not give booster shots of the vaccine for Covid to it's citizens until the rest of the world has received their first dose. At the extremely slow rate many countries are vaccinating their citizens, it may be years before they all receive their first dose. In the meantime, the efficacy of the two doses in Canada may greatly decrease after eight or 12 months. It has also been reported by several countries that the efficacy of the vaccine may decline somewhat after several months making it slightly less effective in protecting against infection. We also know from recent reports that the Delta variant is very contagious and the number of cases in Canada is increasing at an alarming rate in a number of provinces. This raises the question whether Trudeau and Dr. Tam will continue to jump to the tune of the W.H.O. as they have from the beginning of this pandemic. Will they decline to give Canadians a booster shot in spite of the increased danger to many Canadians who are immuno-compromised and / or elderly? Even the physically fit younger Canadian is at increased risk of Covid as the largest number of new cases is now in the 20 to 40 age group. The Canadian government should be taking care of it's own citizens first and helping the rest of the world after. They should not be obeying the Marxist W.H.O. Even President Biden and the U.S. administration has announced they are offering booster shots to their citizens eight months after their second dose. Why should Canadians be treated with any less care?
  12. Believe it or not, Trudeau senior, PM PIerre E. Trudeau of Canada was one of the first western leaders to reach out to the Communist China regime of Chairman Mao, after and while millions had died in the revolution and Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution, and recognize them and establish diplomatic relations in 1970. Then in 2019, Canada's minister of Defence, Harjit Sajjin, attended a Chinese Benevolent Society dinner in Vancouver celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Communist Revolution/People's Republic of China. Another Liberal cabinet minister and a Senator even made a business trip to China while the two Michael's were being held hostage. There is a photo of them lounging around and dining in a outdoor patio in China while the two Michaels suffer in prisons with lights on 24-7. Nothing surprises me about Liberals.
  13. NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is campaigning on a wealth tax of 1% on everyone who has over ten million dollars. The first thing and most important is the age old commandment from God as clearly stated in his revelation, the King James Bible, is "thou shalt not steal". That is quite clear and simple to understand. It has no if's, and's or but's. It doesn't matter if an individual does it or the government does it. It is still stealing. He comes from non-Judeo Christian society and so seems quite comfortable with Marxist/Socialist ideology. He was obviously chosen by the masses of NDPers who think the same way as he does. Secondly, and this is important to consider. The article states this will be a tax on the "wealth" of everyone who has over ten million. Notice the subtle difference between normal taxation of income and the proposal here to confiscate 1% of a millionaire's wealth. This is not taxation he is proposing. This is outright confiscation or stealing from wealth that an individual has already paid income taxes on. Could this even be legal? Can government in Canada simply pass a law to confiscate a person's money from his bank account or investments? If so, where will this end? Could this ideology of confiscating money from Canadians be extended in the future without any limits but just the whims of left wing politicians? This sounds like dangerous territory. Much akin to Chinese or Soviet style Communism. Nobody's money, inheritance or property will be safe. Thirdly, The money that rich people have is not sitting in a box under the bed. It is invested in things like corporations or the stock market and creating thousands of jobs, some good-paying jobs. So if government grabs some of that money, they are actually reducing the amount of money which is invested to create jobs for other people. Private investors know much more than government bureaucrats or politicians how to invest money to produce something. But in the NDP Marxist Socialist mind profit is a dirty word and government knows better.
  14. You forgot already Jagmeet Singh said the Cuban (Communist) revolution lifted the people up. That shows there is a certain Marist slant to the thinking of Jagmeet Singh, and his party. How many people vote for that? The NDP sometimes receives over 15% of the federal vote. Add to that the Marxist sympathizers in the liberal party and you are up in the millions of Marxist sympathizers in Canada.
  15. Quote Consider one of George Washington’s statements: In other words, Washington’s principle of government was that it is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible! But they are trying to do just that! H. G. Wells, Winston Churchill, Jimmy Carter, Robert Kennedy, Richard Nixon, David Rockefeller, Mikhail Gorbachev, George Bush, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown – and many others – have all called for a “New World Order (NWO)” or “World Government”. All this is in line with biblical prophecy as we near the end of the present age. But what sort of world government will it be? Prophecy says that, rather than relying upon ‘God and the Bible’, these rulers will be taking a stand against the Lord and against Jesus Christ (Psalm 2:2). Unquote World Government (NWO) in Bible Prophecy | The coming World Dictator (seekingtruth.co.uk) There are a number of possible players in the present age who are working toward one world government. The number one player is probably the U.N. and it's climate change committee, the IPCC. They are using fear and climate alarmism to bring fear to nations to make them submit to their agenda. It works well with leaders like Trudeau who seem to be willing to do whatever the U.N. says.
  16. Marxists will use fear as a tool to make world government leaders like Trudeau dance to it's tune. It's all about increasing control over nations by the Marxists. Control of everyone is one the key elements of Marxism. Read Orwell's 1984.
  17. The UN's IPCC just announced they want the world to put a ban on all fossil fuels. Guess these Marxist comrades and their supporters (lil Greta) want us to go back to living in caves and mud huts and eliminate all fossil fuel products. That means no cars, trucks, ships, planes, computers, homes, highways, electric power, industry, buses, etc. etc.
  18. Even some major unions are riddled with Communist sympathizers. Quote Did you see Unifor’s latest attack ad? In the ad, Unifor makes a number of unsubstantiated claims and attacks Conservative leader Erin O’Toole. Unifor claims that the CPC leader is planning on “cutting healthcare” and “cutting public service.” Additionally, Unifor stated that O’Toole’s policies were “engineered by big corporations.” There is very little evidence to substantiate any of these claims. How do we know? Because we fact-checked Unifor’s attack ad. Why didn’t the legacy media do this? When it comes to Justin Trudeau’s political opponents, the legacy media will bend over backwards to defend the Liberal leader. They fact-checked former CPC leader Andrew Scheer repeatedly and of course, they did the same to former President Donald Trump as well. So why didn’t they fact-check this Unifor ad that was clearly misleading Canadians about O’Toole? This is why independent media is so vital in Canada. The reality is you can’t rely on the legacy media to report the truth anymore. Many of these media outlets are dependent on government handouts to exist and many of these so-called journalists are actually represented by Unifor. This is why we started an Election Coverage Fund – a budget of $75,000 specifically for coverage of the next federal election. With your support, we can reach more Canadians with factual and honest reporting. Will you help us? Thank you, True North UNQUOTE We see the slant of unions like UNIFOR, opposed to any conservatives and oppose corporations, which is a pretty clear sign of Marxism.
  19. Yes, of course I read the article. It doesn't matter if the article specifically says anything about Canada harbouring Communists or not. The point is there are many people in Canada who are willing dupes of Communist regimes and will travel there and provide financial support to their regime through tourist dollars. The conclusion I have long known is that there are many Marxist or Communist-minded people in Canada. I have learned that over the years by observation of people's opinions, and many articles, and government policies, and actions. The article on Canadians taking vacations in Cuba only proves or reinforces my opinion. If you had been paying attention to what is going on in the world and comments from countless people in this forum and many others, you would know there are countless Communist system sympathizers in Canada and the west. However, I understand there are many people who disagree with me and I respect their right to do that. Just remember in a Communist country, you do not have the right to disagree with the system and little right to express your views and no human rights. Think about that the next time you take a vacation to Cuba or China.
  20. Incidentally I also know it as a fact Canada has quite a number of schools in China, teaching the young how to speak English (and French) as well as other subjects. As long as they are taught China's basic curriculum, it is allowed. Actually China likes it because they have more people to use as agents for the CCP as time goes on. I know of a bilingual French Canadian school teacher who actually taught a class of young people in China online from his home in Canada recently. This is most beneficial to China. They were very good students but remember, they are still Chinese citizens and loyal to the Chinese Communist system, which is all they know. Canadian universities also bring over thousands of students from China to give them a university education. If you want to investigate another aspect of the influence of China in Canada, maybe do a little research on the Confucious Institutes in Canada and Canadian universities. It would be interesting to know more about that. Also how many trips Canadian politicians have taken to China in recent decades and how many were paid for by the CCP through organizations. It is worth noting our Liberal Minister of Defence, Harjit Saajan, attended a Chinese Benevolent Society dinner in Vancouver Chinatown a couple of year ago to celebrate 70 years of rule by the Chinese Communist Party in China. Defence minister ripped for attending gala honouring Chinese Communist Party anniversary | National Post We shouldn't be surprised the Liberal government would bring in legislation C10 and C36 to control free speech on social media and the internet. They seem to have no problem with associating with Communist regimes or Marxist ideology.
  21. Do I need to explain the difference between life in a Communist country and life in a western democracy? You said you were in college. Did you actually learn the difference in all that education through high school and college?
  22. It doesn't sound like you read this article. Is it just a conspiracy theory? Of Course Fidel Castro is Justin Trudeau’s Dad. Nobody Has ‘Debunked’ Anything | by Karen Leibowitcz | Medium Here is a photo of Margaret Trudeau with allegedly both arms around Fidel Castro. If you read this article you will have to admit, it does raise questions. Look at the photos of Justin beside Castro and compare that with the photo of Pierre. You will have to admit, it is not at all clear what the truth is.
  23. Nothing more to tell. I learned about the dangers of Communist thinking and Satan's devices through years of study of the Bible and other books like the one I just mentioned "Claws of the Panda". It makes it easier to see through the liberal and left ideologies and dangerous policies.
  24. That is only one aspect of Canada's failed foreign policy. It is a symptom of a serious mental sickness in many Canadian's mind when they think they can go on vacations and spend their money in a Communist dictatorship that denies it's people human rights. Undercover agent working for Cuban dictatorship has a protester in a choke hold:
  25. Incidentally, yesterday when I did a search and found this article above, a cyber hacker immediately came into my computer, violating my privacy, and started searching through every word on the screen. This leads to the question. Is Canada already under the influence and intimidation of Communist states and other adversaries through major internet news providers and social media where they can hack into individual's computers to intimidate or spy on them? Unfortunately, because of the nature of the internet, any hacker can operate from any country in the world and engage in cyber espionage and influence. I am sure hacking doesn't take a genius. All they need is the software and given some basic instruction how to do it.
