It's nice that people want to come here but no JT, I'm not jealous of them and I don't feel guilty about being born here. Just grateful.

Yeah, I thought it was a stupid comment.     Also, too bad/sad about the hate crimes that are on the rise, but I don't think telling people that they 'take Canada for granted' while immigrants don't is going to fix much.   People who deface property or scream abuse at minorities think they are protecting Canada, however misguided they might be, and that is not a sign of taking Canada for granted.

I dont think that most people who voted for him are paying attention, they were just happy to have the right sort of liberal to vote for.  He can get away with most anything.  He might actually be right, in a way, but the fact that we don't recognise daily how great a place we have is normal, it doesn't mean we dont appreciate it in our own way.This is just the usual pandering, take a day off Justin, im sure even the illegal immigrants crossing the border from the states who were arrested have heard it enough.
