Two points I agree with. I'm very suspicious of people that demand to rush something and refuse to discuss it or allow to be fully studied. -

Here are two of the greatest speeches I've ever heard The climax to the 1940 Charlie Chaplin film "The Great Dictator". Mouseland - Famous speech by Tommy Douglas about rich fat cats in government. -

Well you will never find one in the Conservative/Neo-Liberal Party. People voted for Harper because they thought he was fiscally Conservative, and they still have a hate on for the corrupt Liberals. I'm not a Liberal or an NDP supporter, I'm just Anti-CPC. The Liberals need a leader with some sort of plan, any type of plan at least. I'm all for a Liberal-NDP merger. -

You don't buy newspapers or books either. Ignorance is bliss ehhh. Just keep going to your conservative/neoliberal support group to receive your talking points and thoughts. Greed is good Money is God The Poor are Lazy God hates Fags Brown people are uncivilized godless heathens Any one that doesn't think like us is a hippy Compassion is for the weak Ayn Rand was a prophet (profit) sent from god Self interest is the answer to all things -

"Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy." -Ezekiel 16:49 “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Luke 18:25 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."-Matthew 6:24 "Jesus answered, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.'" -Matthew 19:21 Now I want to be perfectly clear here. I am not trying to insult any ones faith, and would like to keep this discussion civilized.

It's very simple to post discouraging remarks about this topic without contributing in any way as to why you believe it is wrong. This seems to be the right wing way, run in put in a few jabs then leave when questions are pointed towards you. Your either to lazy or not smart enough for an intelligent response or contribution. I'm going with the latter. Point Made. -

I'm just wondering why you and the other right winger's are opposed to these protests? It's very simple to post discouraging remarks about this topic without contributing in any way as to why you believe it is wrong. This seems to be the right wing way, run in put in a few jabs then leave when questions are pointed towards you. Your either to lazy or not smart enough for an intelligent response or contribution. I'm going with the latter. This bush_cheney2004 guy is a prime example. I have yet to see him contribute anything other than, yaa well Canada is worse. I mean is this guy retarded special needs, trying to get the most post number with the least real contribution,or as I suspect some sort of American troll working with the Republic Party? bush_cheney2004 you have 23,165 posts, why don't you just post a period mark as a response it would be just as intelligent as most of your posts. + you can get more posts faster, that's your goal right? Yaa I'm sure I'll about this from the site moderator, but hey It just had to be said. Sorry site moderator, I got it off my chest and it won't happen again. -

CitizenX replied to Shwa's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I think it's worse than that. It's not illegal just because some pin head nerd is afraid to expand his mind and or enjoy a recreational drug (Harper) and thinks he know whats best for other grown adults. It's because the US would flip their lid, and Harper (like all conservatives) wishes he was American and doesn't want to piss off his masters. I LOVE THIS CARTOON IT'S SO TRUE ( I almost pissed myself when I first saw it -
capricorn your not the only one on this forum. I was re-posting for other people. If you don't want to respond to the question then simply don't say anything. Don't respond by saying you don't want to respond.

Did this topic just go off the rails on a crazy train??

So you responded to my question by telling me you are not going to respond???? Uhhhh Thanks?

Don't bother Wilber, you would be better off discussing this matter with a squirrel

No the man was talking about unjust laws, it's right there in the quote. And what's with the derogatory remarks towards people that smoke marijuana? Are you a holier than thou beer drinker/hypocritical Christian? -
Murdering a murder is the same as murdering a woman for adultery. Murder is murder. You can call it an execution if it makes feel better but it's really just murder. Tibetan for protesting against Chinese government rule?????????
-
Yes I'm quoting myself. This was a serious question and I received no response, so I thought I would ask again. I don't fully understand the relationship between Christians and Conservatives. It seems to me a oxymoron, and on the Christian end hypocritical. I am going to make some observations here that I have of Conservatives that I know and some that I believe are that post on this site. Please correct me If I am wrong, and I will try not to generalize to much (may not be helped). Please feel free to add to my list. Conservatives values that go against the Values Jesus Taught Pro Capitalist (a system run on self interest) Pro Corporation ( a entity that values money above all else) Against Welfare State For harsh punishments against Crime Does not hold equality as a value (more for the rich than the poor ie pro business anti-union) Pro War (More than the left anyways) Pro Capital Punishment

How Similar are your views to those around you?
CitizenX replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Political Philosophy
Do you find it strange that most people are uncomfortable with discussing political issues and views? What do you think the main reason for this? Why is it not polite to talk Religion And Politics?
