  1. Here comes the climate change denier. Another poor misguided and ignorant Conservative. You want to talk about a cult, take a look at the one your in Tim. The cult of Money, Consumption, and Egoism.
  2. Actions speak louder than words. jacee stated "I wouldn't say 'evil' but misguided", This might be a better characterization. I would use the word Ignorant in the Buddhist sense.
  3. 1/4 serious, and no not really.
  4. A typical conservative response. Blame the poor people being taken advantage of. I have a new question, are Conservatives Evil?
  5. Don't you remember? The terrorists attacked America because they hated their freedom. Bush removed some of those freedoms and solved the problem.
  6. Libertarians regard all concentrations of power as sources of oppression that must be continually challenged and justified. Opposition generally first begins with large corporations for inherently being designed as private tyrannies
  7. I realized no matter how carefully I ask the question people would either misunderstand, misinterpreted, or simply not read what I said and jump to conclusions. Pliny I really think you should re-read what was written.
  8. People are suspicious of people that that lie, are sneaky, and refuse to debate their side of the issue. And rightly so. If it's such a great tax what are they afraid of. Take the word of a politician...I don't think so. Take the word of the people (big business) that will profit from the new tax, I don't think so. Take the word of right wing think tanks, I don't think so. Some people are calling BC voter's stupid, I don't think so.
  9. PLEASE NOT ANOTHER GEORGE BUSH
  10. Ron Paul owns Rick Perry in news poll
  11. A great Ron Paul documentary For Liberty: How the Ron Paul Revolution Watered the Withered Tree of Liberty
  12. It's not pathetic, it's a reality. The world is linked to what happens in America. If the states go down, which looks like it is, the whole world is effected. So lighten up.....and ohh yaa VOTE RON PAUL 2012. Check the American board that topic was for you.
  13. Dr. Ron Paul is America's only hope, maybe the world's. It's to bad he's Libertarian Right instead of left. Either way he seem better than anyone else I see down there. One of the greatest speeches I've ever seen. A politician with common sense...Amazing. On freedom Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons. Security and Liberty, April 23, 2007 On wars and interventions The tired assertion that America "supports democracy" in the Middle East is increasingly transparent. It was false 50 years ago, when we supported and funded the hated Shah of Iran to prevent nationalization of Iranian oil, and it’s false today when we back an unelected military dictator in Pakistan - just to name two examples. If honest democratic elections were held throughout the Middle East tomorrow, many countries would elect religious fundamentalist leaders hostile to the United States. Cliché or not, the Arab Street really doesn’t like America, so we should stop the charade about democracy and start pursuing a coherent foreign policy that serves America’s long-term interests. Hypocrisy in the Middle East, February 26, 2007 On economics Capitalism should not be condemned, since we haven’t had capitalism. A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank. It’s not capitalism when the system is plagued with incomprehensible rules regarding mergers, acquisitions, and stock sales, along with wage controls, price controls, protectionism, corporate subsidies, international management of trade, complex and punishing corporate taxes, privileged government contracts to the military-industrial complex, and a foreign policy controlled by corporate interests and overseas investments. Add to this centralized federal mismanagement of farming, education, medicine, insurance, banking and welfare. This is not capitalism! Has Capitalism Failed? Quotes about Ron Paul I strongly support Ron Paul, we very badly need to have more Representatives in the House who understand in a principled way the importance of property rights and religious freedom. - Milton Friedman, Nobel Prize economist This courageous and quiet Congressman has made a worldwide name for himself as the defender of liberty in this country… a persistent fighter for the reduction of the power of bureaucrats everywhere… and one politician who cannot be bought by special interests.- Maxwell Newton, New York Post Lobbyists don’t even bother going to his office. If their scheme doesn’t fall among the federal government’s enumerated powers under the Constitution, they know perfectly well that there is no chance Ron Paul will support it.- Thomas Woods, March 26, 200 There are 535 people on Capitol Hill whose job it is to write the laws that govern all of us, and he is one of them. There are 535 people on Capitol Hill whose job it is to preserve the constitution, and he is one of them. There are 535 people whose job it is to preserve our liberties, and he is one of them. But in his heart, and in his head, in his character, and in his intellect, in what he has done, and in what he will become, the Thomas Jefferson of our day, Ron Paul, is one of us.- Andrew Napolitano, Future of Freedom Foundation, June 3, 2007 What the founders knew is that you can get any decent person in there, you give them unchecked power, and they become a monster. And that's why I'm just as scared if Hillary has these powers to imprison Matt Drudge, as Giuliani have these powers... Ron Paul has always talked about these issues, and it's amazing to see, he's on the other side, but I have a lot of respect for what he's saying. And he has supporters really from both parties who are passionate about him because he's saying things like, we don't need an empire, let's just give up our oppressing nations all over the world and just have a republic.- Naomi Wolf, November 7, 2007 I'll worry about Ron Paul if he gets to the general election.- Barack Obama, November 8, 2007 He's fantastic... This guy - he's a Republican - and he says listen, when I become president, I'm taking us out of Iraq, I'm taking us out of everywhere in the world, because what good has it done us being in these fucking Middle Eastern countries? Because they hate us, I'm taking us out of all these wars, and we're done. And he goes, I'm not an isolationist, I'm not afraid to use the military where it's needed. But to sit in these extended fucking wars, draining the economy - and if we stay or we leave, the same goddamn thing happens: nothing! So let's leave. And people love this guy when he talks, he makes sense. - Howard Stern, January 7, 2008

  18. Protests demand Obama use veto power to halt proposed expansion of Keystone XL pipeline that would carry tar sands oil from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico Uploaded by TheRealNews on Aug 29, 2011 For several days now protestors have assemble outside the White House to express their opposition of the Keystone pipeline. The proposed pipeline will stretch over 1,700 miles from Canada to Texas and will transport oil into the States. Many activists are concerned with the environmental repercussions and affects it could have on the American people. Daphne Wysham, a fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies, tells us why this is a bad idea. Uploaded by RTAmerica on Aug 30, 2011
  19. Any good that comes from a corporation is a byproduct of profit making. They don't employ people because they are good social citizens, if they could get along without any employee's they would.
  20. How about Amoral ? a·mor·al     adjective 1.not involving questions of right or wrong; without moral quality; neither moral nor immoral. 2.having no moral standards, restraints, or principles; unaware of or indifferent to questions of right or wrong: a completely amoral person. 22. Other than the god part it sounds like your talking about a Buddhist. But if these are the values they hold I'm all for Christianity.
  23. This has gotten off topic, that is why I started another topic. Are Corporations Evil ?
  24. So if I understand you correctly, you are more concerned with the quality of the product that you are purchasing than how it is produced. If you truly have an interest in finding the truth there are plenty of resources out there. No one can force the truth on people they must seek it out for them selves, examine both sides of the argument and come to their own conclusions. This is the only way that you will truly believe, and change the way you behave as a consumer. And finally, allot of the evil acts that are perpetrated arise from the deflection of responsibility. You are responsible for how you act as a consumer.
