 There was a tims in a predominately Black neighborhood in Toronto, i think the manager was Albanian. He hired mostly black people from the local black community who put in applications.  He hired anyone , Jamacans, Ethiopeans, black muslims, korean, latino , white senior woman etc and all very friendly nice people too,,, in other words  who ever from the community applied and was willing to work got a job there no matter what background nationality or religion or skin color , and if they worked hard he kept them for years,, some worked there well over ten years as long as i had been going to that tims..

then just recently east Indians or punjab background people  took over that tims,  and all the blacks and other nationalities started vanishing from the staff and were replaced by punjab "only" employees... it went from being a multi cultural melt pot of employees, representative of the diversity of toronto's population and the local community,  to being a punjab only need apply, the most blatant racist hiring practices i have ever seen in this country.  I spoke with one of the remaining black workers at that tims and they told me managers are forcing them all to quit and its only a matter of time before they leave too. I gave that remaining worker the number to a good workplace law firm but i never saw them again, i guess they gave up and left that tims too.

i have seen this happening at Home depot and Walmart too ,, all the people from various ethnic backgrounds are being removed and replaced by Indian punjab workers. Only punjab workers are hired and nobody else gets in... and just recently its been happening at fresco too.. also none of these stores are in punjab communities ,, its happening accross the province in  communities of predominately Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian, Jamacan , etc... communities that are of mixed backgrounds and not in the slightest Punjab Indian. I went to the tims in collingwood ontario the whole staff were punjab, yet down the street the Mcdonalds was all mixed race, a melting pot of various people , god bless mc donalds for still having non-discriminating hiring practices..

I confronted a manager in the store at homedepot about their racially based hiring practice, and he said its because the  workers are all students and the store gets subsidized by the government if they hire students,, my immediate response to him was   " oh so your saying that university of Toronto only allows punjab students into their university and there are no Chinese , Black, Latino , European , south American students allowed in the university anymore.? is that why all the so called students you hire are only punjab "  he gave no answer shrugged his shoulders and walked away from me.

 I guess judging by tims hiring practices that only indian punjabs are the only ones smart enough to make coffee in Canada anymore.. the rest of the multicultural population including canadians of Columbian, Ethiopian, and Brazilian   background dont know how to make coffee judging by tims hiring practices.. . god if this racist hiring situation wasnt so sad it would be laughable.

in our neighborhood now everyone refers to tims coffee as the punjabi klu klux klan  kkkofffee, the most blatantly racist hiring business in the community, province , and nation.. what is scary is that other corporations like walmart, home depot, freshco are also doing this too now... the premeditated elimination of well needed minimum wage jobs for people of all ethnic backgrounds is a stain upon our multicultural Canadian nation...
