Yet no one had yet to prove that RoboCall was a Tory conspiracy to surpress democracy have they?
-
All I'm saying is how does this issue with ads today hurt their credibility? In 2015 will the Liberals use this By-election Day ad issue as a tool to defeat the CPC?
-
They still won a majority. In fact they've won two elections since In and Out was alleged to have happened.
-
So what would you say if each pilot was asked to produce a doctor's letter?
-
Only a hyper-partisan would think any Anti-Liberal CPC ads were meant to effect the Toronto-Danforth election in favour of whatever sacrificial lamb the Tories put into that riding. Unless of course the plan was to get the NDPer elected.

Most worker can't collectively bargain. Falsely calling in sick could be considered a firing offense if not a punishable offense in most jobs.
-
Just like "In and Out" did last May?
-
Andrea Horvath has come out against the OLG plans so has the big Unions, CAW and OPSEU (friends of McGuinty) If he's stubborn about his plans he'll certainly be going to the polls again soon.
-
What are you going to do to get banned this time?
-
Is this your justification for what McGuinty is doing here? Lying is just another term for pragmatism in your eyes?
-
I guess you're right. Perhaps the 2011 Election Campaign results should be reversed then.
-
Toronto-Danforth? Like anyone in that riding is voting CPC.
-
BTW anyone have irrefutable evidence that the Tories cheated en masse yet?

Don't their schools already have Libraries. When I was in High School in the mid-90's I had access to the Internet at High School.
-
Yeah it'll be October. Good to start up a show about Zombies around Halloween.

98 Libraries in Toronto are closed. (Yes you read right, they have 98 of them!) http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2012/03/19/toronto-library-strike.html Margaret Atwood must be pissed. Think of all the people that won't be able to read because of this strike. Now people who can't afford their own internet can't post on Twitter. This is a crisis!!! You'd think Management could keep a few of them open. How hard is it to re-stock bookshelves and shhh rowdy kids?

Courting the "Ethnic Vote" won them many seats in BC and the GTA.

That last episode was really good. The makers finally did introduced the Prison which takes up a great deal of the comics storyline and they introduced Michonne (The hooded woman that saves Andrea) She was, and still is, the coolest character in the comic book series. I agree the first half of the season was painfully slow. They apparently changed show-runners mid-stream. The second half has been much better and shows the characters descent into darkness very well.

Totally anecdotal but I hear many people talk about the generation of people in their early 20's currently as some of the most lazy entitled people they've ever come across.

Which is why the outcry when the Government prorogued before the 2010 Vancouver Olympics was pretty funny.

Actually the appeal of Basketball is less than it was in the Jordan years. Many NBA teams are losing boatloads of money, that's why much of the season was cutoff. A new collective agreement needed to be signed. As for March Madness. It's appealing for things like the last minute games with VCU this weekend where both games were in doubt until the buzzer. Or having an unknown school like Lehigh beat the powerhouse Duke. Also the fact that you have 48 games played in four days this weekend. Basketball can be exciting if you have a vested interest in the teams. That's why having a pool and a bracket to fill out makes the tournament exciting because even if you couldn't care less about a school like Baylor, you want them to win because you have them getting to the Elite 8. But if you really have no cheering interest in either team, watching the final two minutes of a Basketball game is all you need to see. College basketball also suffers from the fact that really good players only need to play one season in college before going to the pros. In the past it was almost expected that a player would be at a school for awhile. I believe the last great NBA player to play 4 years at their school of choice was Tim Duncan at Wake Forrest and he played in the mid 90's. A team like Kentucky is favoured in this tournament but the team is full of freshman. The coach, John Calipari recruits so well that he has to restock his team every year because they all leave for the NBA after one season.

http://www.newstalk1010.com/News/localnews/blogentry.aspx?BlogEntryID=10361084 In what line of work is fatigue and street a viable reason to call in sick for work? This is clearly a work action because of the Federal government won't allow them to strike. I wonder if there'll consequence for the actions of these pilots? 19 cancelled flights is exactly the type of thing the Feds are trying to prevent.

Saying PC, Android, Blackberry etc stuff is crap is really subjective. They can complete the same tasks as apple products and in some cases they perform much better. In all honesty most things people use are third-party. That's why the Apple App Store has made apple so successful. They have the most apps and games available for people to use and that's why more people get them. I don't own a smart phone so I won't comment. The iPhone actually looks really good. My beefs are with the iPad and Macs. People pretty much use iPads to surf the web, play games and watch videos. No way that's worth $500. The fact that people line up for what still amounts to an oversized iPod (this one with Siri) is hilarious. Regarding macs. I use a mac at work, it's very user friendly but for the most part the practicality of any PC are the programs you use. Most programs are found on PCs or Macs are cross platform. Other than the keyboard configuration I find very little difference between the iMac I use at work and the Toshiba laptop I use at home.
-
BTW I've never said that Apple produces crap. I work on Apple computers and I think their OS is better than Windows. But it's not that much better. You can get a PC that performs better than a mac for half the price. As for tablets, you can also get a tablet that does what most people use iPads for, for less than half what you pay for an iPad. If you have the money, God bless. But many people out there buy the koolaid and buy Apple thinking they are light years ahead of their competitors. MCC is right. Apple dumbs down it's technology to the lowest common denominator.
