Therefor, when they have 25x as many covid cases, that doesn't make them 25x as bad, because if covid was affecting both areas equally, California would have 8x as many cases. That means that in actual fact California was only about 3x 'as bad', but that's still not taking into account the fact that LA's metro area has 3x the population of BC. That compounds the issue of fighting covid in Cali greatly, because [take my word for this] covid travels across the street more quickly than it travels from Prince George to Spuzzum. It's really frustrating to debate with someone who's constantly saying things that are so absurd. I can't step inside of your head and know for sure that you're always intentionally lying, but it would be pretty hard to explain how someone could be smart enough to read/write English and still say the things that you say if they weren't lying. In any event, whether you're knowingly lying or unwittingly lying, you're still making declarative statements which are patently untrue, and that meets the standard definition of being a liar. Now you can see why I say that your unsubstantiated opinions are meaningless, and that you need to provide cites for the things that you want us to take seriously. You've cleaned up your act a bit since you've come back, but you don't have many posts in that span. I need to go back to before your recent 'hiatus' started (when BeaverFever suddenly started posting here. I suspect that's an alt account of yours but I'd never be able to prove it). When was your last post before you came back here? There were too many threads started in the interim. I don't have all day to look through threads that you didn't even participate in.

Actually the population of Ontario plus the population of Quebec is about the same as Florida. It's over 11 hrs from Windsor to QCity. Less than 5 from Miami to Jacksonville.

And the population of Miami is bigger than the population of all those cities combined, plus the other cities that I mentioned. Miami metro area has more people than Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Burnaby, Victoria, Langley, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Chilliwack, Kamloops, Kelowna, Prince George, Vernon, Abbotsford, Nanaimo and every other town, village, hamlet, and cabin in the woods in every square inch of BC. They have all that many people, plus one million more. What I wrote proves what you said..... is just as stupid as everything else that you say.

It proves that your comment is total bullshit. Canada's population is nothing like Florida's. People in Flin Flon (6K) are 8 hrs away from Winnipeg (778K). That's still only halfway across the province of MB. People in Calgary (1.4M) are 7 hrs away from Fort Mac (111K). That's still only halfway across the province of AB. People in Vancouver (2.4M) are 9 hrs away from Prince George (74K). That's still only halfway across the province of BC. People in Miami (6.1M) are only 5 hrs from Jacksonville (1.6M), and that's the entire north-south distance of Fla. That's 8M in those two cities, which would make them the second most populated province in Canada, and almost the entire population of Florida lives between those two cities. 13M more people. A single person with covid could go on a day trip in their economy car and infect every city in Florida. It wouldn't be hard at all. The populations of all the Canadian cities that I mentioned, combined, is less than the population of Miami, and there are 3 of Canada's 7 largest cities there. That's still a totally bullshit comment. Here's a pop density map. Compare Florida with Canada. Even with Southern Ontario. It's like comparing Saskatoons to oranges.  

Florida has more than half of our population and only 1/58th our land mass. That makes it over 29x as crowded. The fact that they have a higher death rate isn't surprising. Canada isn't doing well at all re: covid. We are 39th in the world in population, 189th in pop density, and 23rd in deaths. Japan has more than 3x our population, 85x our pop density, and just over half the number of deaths that we have.

COVID came from a BSL4 lab in China, about 6 months after Trump paraded around saying that he won a trade war China. COVID targets fat people (Americans), and it gave the Dems the 2020 election and undemocratic power over Americans. It's not like his theory is completely unfounded or unlikely. Mail-in ballots were treated with all the care of bugs on a front bumper. Random dudes were grabbing massive bags of ballots and then they were out of sight for days before they got counted. Then tens of thousands of votes would show up with no votes on the down-ballot. The people who like to pretend that there were good reasons for the Russian collusion witch hunt, even after the FBI already determined in January 2017 that it was bogus, like to pretend that there was never a single reason to question the integrity of the Dems (who are 100% known to have been caught cheating 3x on the 2016 election), or to even look into the voting irregularities in 2020.

That's not reality, it's just a Dem talking point. Do you have a single example of a proposed law that will actually disenfranchise a single legitimate voter? I have examples of laws proposed by Dems that will make it easier for voter fraud to occur, and every fraudulent vote that's counted devalues your legitimate vote.

The tax isn't such a big deal that it will affect Trudeau and his rich cronies, but as far as the tax base is concerned, it's just another straw on the camel's back. If it was really going to solve something that would be one thing, but I don't think that putting a tax on places over a million really changes much for young people who are trying to buy. If anything it will steer wealthy people who are buying towards revenue properties that are under a million, which will help drive up prices in the starter home range.
