Is Canada (or the US) becoming authoritarian?
WestCanMan replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Fixed it for ya. -
Look at herbie, our cute little village idjit, wallowing in ignorance. He knows that people are screaming, but he doesn't know why, and he's taking the words of genocidal terrorists for it. Cite. How easy do you think it is to find every tunnel entrance and destroy all of the tunnels in an area that's about 350 sq km? When you consider that an entrance is 1 sq metre (less actually), that means that there are 350,000,000 places to conceal an entrance. How many entrances, and how many tunnels does it take for Iran to slip a nuke under Israel, dummy? The Israelis aren't there right now trying to find all the terrorists, they're locating the tunnels. Do you have the balls to engage in tunnel warfare, herbie? No, you don't, so don't be so critical of the way other people carry it out. Dang, herbivore, that's your trick 😂 But TBH, a more accurate statement would be : "any criticism of herbie's beliefs is correct. He's an idjit who gets led around by the nose by anyone with an IQ over 12.

Awwww, still crying? Need your diaper changed maybe? Look back at ex-flyer's last 20 posts.... If they're just a bunch of snotty insults, without a shred of thread involvement, maybe consider putting him on ignore. Worst-case scenario, you miss 1 intelligent post per decade from that guy, and it's only because he made a typo or his words came out all wrong. -
Is Canada (or the US) becoming authoritarian?

2015 Trudeau wasn't elected to force young Canadians to take a harmful injection in 2020, or to seize people's bank accounts for donating to a peaceful protest. He wasn't elected to subvert our judicial system to keep criminals in business. He wasn't elected to send the courts after political enemies. But you support all of those things. You don't think of fascism as the gov't exercising undue political power over things the gov't shouldn't be involved in, you think of fascism as "governments doing reasonable things that you just don't like". Ironically, that makes you a classic fascist. -

I'm well aware of my own boundless hypocrisy, Spanky. I hate killing animals, but when I open a menu, I almost always choose a meal with meat in it. I'm basically helping to perpetuate an entire industry where other people have to kill thousands and thousands of animals each year. That doesn't mean that I sell out low-income Canadians. We all have our lines in the sand, and I draw the line at harming my fellow Canadians. You do not. So don't throw around the hypocrisy label, sport. -

Just FYI, you don't have to be unpopular to be a fascist, MG. You can even be a fascist and be outrageously popular. Look at al the things that mohammed did in his life: married a child, had the heads chopped off of people who refused to convert to his religion, created a legal system where marrying children was legal and sexual acts with them was legal, forced women and children into slavery... His violent religious bigotry still kills millions of people and forces hundreds of millions of people to live in fear to this day. If mohammed ran for election right now, how many countries would he win an 85% majority in? 30? FYI all the people who loved vax fascism would also love islamofascism and naziism if they were on that side. -
I'm not against you here, but TBH, this war is really about the tunnels. Hamas was dumb enough to attack, and that gave Israel the chance they needed to go in and get rid of the tunnels. Hamas actually had a "good" thing going for themselves with those tunnels. At some point, Iran will get a nuke, and when they do, their plan was going to be to attack Israel from below. I honestly think it's just a matter of time before all 10M Israelis are slaughtered. Islamic hatred has been around for 1400 years, and it just takes a couple bad days to win a military victory across a country as small as Israel. At its widest point, Israel is only about 70 miles across. Can they really have a 2,000-year-long winning streak against all the countries that want a genocide there?

A little bit of information is a dangerous thing, Boges. I commend you for saying some things that are ostensibly true, instead of just knowingly rattling off a stream of lies, but you've been duped into reaching false conclusions based on some slick/sickening propaganda, bud. Just remember that almost everything that anyone in gov't or a media outlet says during a war is propaganda, even for the side that's winning. As important as it is for media outlets to control the narrative during an election or a pandemic, that's nothing comapred to how hard they ie during a war. Remember when the Ukrainians were theoretically wiping out Russians and no Ukrainians were dying, but Ukraine lost 20% of their country? This is the middle-eastern version of the exact same thing. FYI the Egyptians aren't letting Gazans out. Hamas isn't letting Gazans out. The only people who have a vested interest in not killing Gazans is the IDF, because dead Gazans are bad for the IDF. Are dead Gazans bad for the Ayatollah, Boges? Do you honestly think that, right now, the Ayatollah is interested in preventing the deaths of women and children in Gaza? Would he actually lift a finger to do that? If 200,000 Gazans die, but that helps Iran gin up enough hatred towards Israel to get all 10M of the Israelis killed, do you think the Ayatollah will be happy or sad? Honest answer.

Is it Time To Admit that Trump Is Our Daddy?
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I was talking about "fascism", that seemed to be the topic. We had fascism here. Canadians loved it. He would still be the head of a democracy, just Canada would be a part of it. -

We already had fascism here, and a lot of Canadians couldn't get enough of it. There are probably millions of Canadians that would have been happy to see the unvaxed go to "voluntary self-isolation camps" in Siberia. I mean, Yukon. -

My posts to you are rarely related to the subject matter of the thread: you don't engage in that manner, so you aren't replied to in that manner. If you think that you have a point to make, you haven't, and just FYI, in the absence of coherent rebuttals from parties in disagreement, the original arguments presented in the thread stand as unchallenged. Sorry but "I fink yewr stinky poo-poo" doesn't carry any weight here. You're levelling up by quite a bit when you leave your circle of illiterate friends to come here. Whatever, Link. Your sandbox insults don't change the fact that Trump is currently calling the shots here in Canada, from DC. That means that a person who we didn't elect, and a gov't that we have no say in, are controlling our country. You can choose to keep our PM de jure in power, and let Trump continue to run roughshod over us, or bring some alternative ideas to the table, but it's very unlikely that the carney can suddenly change his stripes in the middle of this fight. Our dog is losing, but not like a dog in a dogfight, like a rat fighting a Jack Russell. -
Honestly, not a bad concept for a thread, but does anyone listen to PEI anyways? Who's their premier? Can you name any of the premiers of any of the maritime provinces, past or present? Sure, some of them might have familiar names that you'd instantly recognize, but I doubt that the avg Canadian citizen from west of Labrador can come up with two names when confronted with that question. The only meaningful imbalance between the maritimes and the rest of Canada, imo, stems from the fact that they have too many MP's per capita, compared to other provinces.

Because not all of my posts are solely directed at you, dimwit. When I post on this forum it's not exclusively to engage 1 person. Sometimes it is, but when I'm taking out the trash (talking to leftist clowns) it's mainly to set the record straight for others who are reading. No shit. -

WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No, not really. A democracy could take over another democracy and that wouldn't suddenly make the occupying country a dictatorship., and TBH, it doesn't seem like a lot of Americans are losing any sleep over Trump's rhetoric. -

I never said that it was a debate with you. I simply said that these opening and subsequent posts - usually by conservatives but occasionally by leftists as well - are intended to generate discussion and exchange facts and ideas. I.e., to spark fair and honest debate. It's just your own terrible level of reading comprehension that led you to believe that anyone created a thread specifically because they wanted to debate with you. This forum doesn't prevent people like you from chiming in to fling a bit of poop and muddy the waters (nor should it, because freedom of speech laws don't come with a minimum IQ requirement for you to limbo under), so we have no choice but tolerate you, but we're still waiting for your first adult contribution to the forum. Capiche? -
First Nations Summit Ends In Disaster For Carney
WestCanMan replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
CBC and CTV: "Carney's Summit was a Disaster" CDN: "CBC and CTV said that Carney's Summit was a Disaster, here's the link..." Leftards: "You're a stinky poo-poo liar, Cdn. A few people thought it wasn't bad!" *rinse, repeat for 5 pages. Ironically on this discussion forum, a Link is about the most useless thing there is. -
Is it Time To Admit that Trump Is Our Daddy?
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
FYI when one is dealing with all the pertinent facts and stats that's not considered 'partisan complaining', it's just called 'trying to have a factual debate'. And you know it's just that because you can't even chime into these arguments with any intelligent counter-points. You constantly find yourself completely outgunned in the supporting facts and stats category so you keep on resorting to sandbox squabbling, like you are doing right now, and TBH you truly look pathetic. Any reasonable person understands that the carney's penchant for lying and the number of enemies the LPOC has made for themselves in western Canada makes this a divided and leaderless country. The premier of Alberta went and negotiated directly with the POTUS - because we are a divided and leaderless country. To top it all off the carney regularly makes ridiculous statements and makes threats that he has to walk back, and we just look like a bunch of clowns day after day after day. To be 100% honest, I thought that Chrystia Freeland would be publicly ridiculed for saying "Canada should align itself more closely with nuclear-armed countries like Britain and France so that they could protect us from the United States", but the LPOC went forward with that as a real adult-level plan, and actually announced a "Canada-Europe Defence Alliance" or some stupid shit like that. Becaus ethey think that somehow those countries could protect us from the USA, from a continent away 😂 We're being run by children, Link, and you're loving it for reasons which are self-explanatory. -
The Americans might be a bit more divided than us, but we're pretty bad. It's like it has become our national pastime. The LPOC's whole "We committed genocide against the FN people!" shtick was unique to the world of national disunity. I don't know of another country that used that slogan, or why they would. There's a lot to criticize, that' true 😂

Is it Time To Admit that Trump Is Our Daddy?
WestCanMan replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's all you do here, Link. Until you show another side of you, all that we know about you is that you're a potty-mouthed cultist liar. -
You're not 'wrong'. This is probably 85% Trump's fault, but TBH our country is so divided and weak that we are low-hanging fruit: We are divided provincially, our provinces are further divided into FN's territories which have their own levels of sovereignty, we are divided racially, we are divided by the level of our ancestral ties to the land, we are divided religiously, we are at each other's throats politically, we are divided by class, and we are even divided by gender. And it doesn't seem like anyone in the US is upset by Trump's 51st state comments, so this might be something that the GOP and Dems jointly had on the backburner for a while. Maybe even a holdover from the old 54-40 or fight days. Think about it... CNN and MSNBC usually call everything that Trump says "racist", or say that it harms America's relationships with their allies, or that it is misogynist, or reactionary, etc, etc, etc, but "Canada as the 51st state" doesn't bother them at all. In fact, it doesn't seem to bother anyone in the US. Honestly, of all the Trump comments, this seems like a pretty easy one for the MSM to tar and feather him for, but they just ignore it. Saying "Let's take over Canada", right into the live TV cameras, has to be much worse than saying "I just grab floozies by the pu55y" in private, but tat's not th ecase judging by the media repsonse,
