No, the person who said he is willing to die for his cause was white but the one who threatened civil war looked middle eastern and another one who nearly threatened terrorism (he said if they crack down on us they will create a terrorist like himself) appeared of African decent. In all, though there are white supremacist elements in the protest crowd but the majority are not, but for sure there are a large number of radical elements in the protest crowd who wish to change the democratically elected government by force or mob dictatorship and the presence of these radical groups who so openly and publicly call for civil war or terrorism fully justifies the emergency act.

This is ridiculous. End the occupation and let the elected government work in a democratic manner. 3 - The fact that someone coming on national TV threatening the government, the county and the nation with civil war and terrorism unless their way is granted (mob's dictatorship) is very unfortunate and the fact that they get away with such public threats in fact proves that we do have a democracy. I dare these people to say the same things in China, Russia, Iran. They will be shot the next day.

I watched the Conservative MPs speaking in the Parliament and I was disgusted by them. They wanted to have it both ways. On one hand they accuse Trudeau of inaction and on the other hand they attack him for state of emergency. They play Canada for political gains only. Even the House leader called on them to watch their own benches before clapping or cheering for him asking not to use inflammatory words in the House. Down with the Conservative party of Canada,

A moderate number of immigrant around 150,000 per year would be better so that new immigrants can be gradually absorbed. Anything above that is extreme. Also selectivity is important. We don't want to see in Canada what we see in parts of Europe where culturally different immigrants from North Africa and Middle East causing social issues. So adoptability must be given more weight in selecting future immigrants.

Some are there because they want a mob rule not an elected government and some are there because they feel they are privileged and some are there because they are fed up with restrictions like all of us.

In case you don't know political asylum is granted when a citizen can prove he or she can be executed or life in serious danger because of ideological difference with government if he or she is returned (usually crossed border in another country)

Wow really. And compare that to a tyrannical leader who summons the heads of the revolutionary guards and orders them to machine gun the crowds of uprisings in the towns and cities or if they fail to totally root out the uprisings then they will be all executed for failing to do their duties. Yeah Canada has its share of major violation of human rights for wanting to safeguard its citizens based on scientific advice and wanting to peacefully remove protesters (no one has been shot or killed) whose goal is to overthrow a democratically elected government by a mob of protesters.

Seriously get a hold of yourself. It is not like citizens of a dictatorship in a middle eastern country who are being gunned down by government sponsored thugs for even taking part in anti-government demonstrations or being tortured in jails for having a different ideology even without acting on them. You have to live in one of those dictatorships to value the privileges you have been granted by birth.

If I could remember correctly I have had about a dozen flu shot. Annual ones since I came down with a severe flu in 2008. I never had a severe flu again just mild ones every 2 or 3 years since Likely same number with Covid. I believe in science ruling my life not a mob.

When you start a thread with a clear misinformation and a big lie then the rest of your post or thread becomes useless and invalid. You discredit yourself in the first line. The protests have not been peaceful. They blocked critical infrastructure causing billions of dollars of damage to Canadians. Harassed Canadians in the Capital and occupied and blocked streets illegally, illegal weapons and firearms confiscated by RCMP in Alberta. And the protest attended by a few thousand or a few ten thousand at most is hardly by citizens but a fringe minority of citizens. Long live our beloved land of democracy and freedom, Canada. I hope those intend to destroying our values and our land of freedom to be destroyed themselves.

While many protesters in Ottawa are there to voice their opposition to vaccine mandates, others have said their goal is to force the dissolution of the elected federal government, or to create a logistical nightmare that forces the federal government to repeal all mandates. This is illegal and the second group should be put on trial for insurgency, undemocratic act against national security.
