Families like parents and children are sponsored by the citizen which means they won't go on welfare in case they can't find jobs and will be supported by the family member who sponsored them (as they have to sign a guarantee form of some kind). As for the others coming by point system I would have guessed that the system in place is more solid than what you described. For example I would have expected that the university where a degree is acquired also will be taken into consideration when receiving points. On your other point I don't think anyone not speaking one of the two official languages can be admitted as immigrant (unless they come as family class or refugee). I remember that speaking the official language has an independent point of its own (like education or skill having 10 points).

Because the whites didn't go to Congo to make it an industrial country for whatever reason. Likely because it had a central government and could defend itself against white invaders. The truth is the evolution. Europe went through the industrial revolution much sooner than others. Hence they built ships and engines to travel and guns to colonize. Why Europe first and before others? because it was white race? I don't think so. Yes the climate and resources were much richer in those two countries than rest of Africa, That was likely why the white exploiters chose those two countries over Sudan or Somalia. I know where you are coming from and i tell you a secret that I used to have that kind of thinking myself when I was in my teens and 20's but I matured up as I mixed up with many people of white race I realized that they are as much faulty in many aspects as any other race. What I am saying is that the picture (and yes I get the picture you presenting) you and Argus are presenting is not the true picture of immigrants. The majority are educated or have skills (again I am referring to immigrants not refugees) who had to pass the exiting point system which is based on education and skills. So it can't be true that Chinese peasants and illiterate middle eastern can pass the system and settle in Canada and stay on welfare forever. Explain this please.

Sorry to disappoint you but that is a fiction rather than a fact. I would like to see more good immigrants from Russia and Eastern Europe too than China and Syria but the fact remains that neither the right wing conservatives (even under the very right wing Harper) nor the liberals and certainly not the NDP would change the immigration policy and take white only or majority whites. Unless an extreme right party (one of those white supremacists in Alberta or BC come to power Federally but that is as fictitious as aliens in human form take over our planet. Canadians in great majority have and will reject extremism. They hate to be called racist or show even slightest racism (even though some may be but they don't show it publically and they know voting for one will make them look bad internationally). So the current trend will continue and I anticipate that most future Canadians will be of various races and will get along very well and inter-racial marriages will increase a lot and we will see a beautiful mixed race Canada. No one (white or non-white) will be a majority but it will be the land of love rather than hate though we must keep those hateful trash who are a minority even in their own homeland out of Canada (cultural selectivity not racial selectivity).

I think Argus was referring to immigrants not refugees. I think that more than two-third of the 300,000 newcomers per year are immigrants who have PASSED the point system currently in place for immigration (unlike Europe, Canada and Australia have a point system in place in order to select immigrants based on skills and education). So I ask again as it has been claimed again and again and this is my question again: HOW those immigrants who have passed the point system based on education and skills are poor uneducated Chinese peasants or low income middle eastern or as it has been claimed are those who will stay om the welfare system forever?????

I think that Canada immigration is based on a point system. Education for example takes 10 points, certain skills (like car mechanics or tradesmen which there is a shortage in Canada then another 10 points. Prospective immigrants have to to score a certain points in order for their application to be even considered (say 40 out of maximum 60 for example). Then HOW could uneducated, unskilled workers get in as you appear to say????

I can assure you I am neither Zionist (cannot be any farther than that) trying to take over Canada or alien in human form trying to take over this planet. but the latter is more likely than former. Rather than making it a Zionist conspiracy as you said in one of your post (or aliens from other planets among us in human form trying to take over our planet) I think the reality is that Canada wants to be fair in immigration and take the proportionate percentage rather than selection based on skin color. You said that about 8 to 9% of planets population is Caucasian. Does Canada take less than 8 to 9% Caucasian? I don't think so.

What the hell is that supposed to mean. How uninformed and ignorant you can be I am here in Canada where wearing hejab is not mandatory so those who wear it are doing it by choice. So whoever I spark a conversion who wears hejab is likely doing it by choice and hejab here likely in most cases does not indicate a symbol of oppression but even here in Canada it can happen though not widespread since the law protects them. Remember the Afghani honor killings when the fucking father and brother killed the daughter and step mother in Ottawa a few years ago? Because the daughter adopted western life? It is a symbol of oppression for sure. Suppression of women's right and freedom of choice How can you or anyone deny this fact is beyond me. If wearing of hejab was a choice then one could argue you may be right BUT we know that in many regions of the world many women (millions likely hundreds of millions) are forced to wear hejab either forced by their oppressive government or family (father, brother, uncle.....). Europe and North America altogether totally about one billion. This is much more than 8-9% unless you have a more specific definition of Caucasian (like those with blonde hair and blue eyes only). Regardless as why we don't care whether while people are minority or majority is because we don't see any difference between whites and non-whites. As I said we don't judge people based on skin color but the size of heart and minds and this is the right and human way of seeing people. Under the skin we are all the same. White people don't have extra brain or more brain cells, extra heart or more blood. And yes contrary to what you may believe white morals and values too are no better or worse than non-whites. They both have their goods and bads. Some may say drunkenness, drugs, lack of family attachments, immorality like pre-marital sex and incest, hatred for mankind, bigotry (yeah Hitler and fascist movements were/are all whites) are more widespread among whites while non-whites have faults of their own. But there are plenty of good associated with both as well. No difference overall.

I enjoy diversity more than the food factor. I enjoy to see oriental faces, the east indians, the middle eastern, the eastern European, the latins, africans as well as Caucasians. I am happy to live in a country where a small portion of my tax dollars mat be going to support people in need (economic immigrants, refugees, foreign aid). I do NOT stand for what you stand for. I do not discriminate, like or dislike based on color of skin or race. It is the size of the hearts and minds that matters to me not skin color. White skin does not make a person better or superior but big hearts and intelligent minds do. I believe immigrant proportion should be based on regional distribution on the planet. The Caucasian race is about 25 to 30% of planet's population and I think this is also the portion of our immigrants too or should be.

I agree that neither of the parties you mentioned nor those which you did not mention (like green party) would do the right thing and adopt the SMART immigration policy which is cutting the number in half and SELECTIVITY of those who admit in based on financial situation and cultural compatibility. However I am not going to vote for an extreme right wing party who may be willing to select based on race and religion and skin color or stop immigration altogether as I enjoy cultural diversity in Canada and I see it as one reason why this country is the best in the world.

The report concentrates on numbers only and does not criticize the lack of selectivity in the system. The target set in my view at 25000 per year is just too low. It might as well be zero. And where did they come up with this figure was never answered. I do believe that 250,000 for a population of only 35 million is too high and I believe a BALANCED approach would be to reduce the number to between 100,000 to 150,000. And if we SELECT all those based ob financial prospects (either with proven records of ability to establish a business and creating jobs or possessing skills that Canadians do not have and is needed in Canada) then none of the issues that the report has cited would not arise (again it did not cite the danger of culturally incompatible intakes mostly from ME). So you asked me how I think about it and I told you what I think about the report.

Again if you had bothered to read my previous posts you would have realized that I also said that our existing immigration policy is not that great and needs improvements. I did say we need to change t SMART immigration. Take those who have a good chance of becoming long term significant tax payers. I also said immigration numbers should be cut in half. I also cited SELECTIVELY as very important factor we need to have not only based on future prospects but also cultural compatibility with Canadians in order to keep out undesirables from entering Canada in order to avoid social disturbances we witness in Europe by Muslim extremists. If you had bothered to READ my post in the previous page before posting you would have realized that I did the deductions and concluded that a single tax payer with income of $32500 pays about $5000 in annual income tax. This is NOT 25% of entire income.

It does NOT track them after a few years or worse after many years to see that this newcomers have climbed up the ladder and have much higher incomes and hence paying much higher taxes, In full life most are net contributors big time. My first income was considerably lower than now or even a few subsequent years. This is ridiculous!!!!! In fact on second thought the report is not flawed you are. Because the report did say it is for newcomers and it is you who falsely expanded it to immigration and all immigrants. I said immigration is like an investment in the LONG term. You are attaching document that shows recent immigrants from certain regions earn more (or less) than other regions. How is that related to your arguments that immigrants are burden to Canadians or a drag on economy!!!!!!. When I say average income (I meant those in highest income category plus those in lowest income category divided by 2) I was not talking about regional income distribution but average income regardless of where they come from(But I can guess why some tiny minority people are obsessed with regions, color and race!!!! rather than figures). Even with outdated 2005 statistics, the average income for recent immigrants (that is regions and age included) is about $32500 (that is (15000 + 50000)/2, which about a quarter of $20000 (income after personal exemption) goes to direct income tax. So if you multiply 300.000 (your own figure) by that average direct income tax (300,000 X 5000) = 1.5000,000,000 direct income tax contributions in a SINGLE tax year. Multiply that by 35 year usual working period and it is over 50 billion dollars in Direct Income tax contributions alone for EACH year of admission. And that is for recent immigrants (long time citizens earn a lot more) so the actual figure (adjusted for increasing income over years) would be a lot higher in reality.
