  1. Anyone who considers him/herself a patriot should be ecstatic at the fate of the Bloq. Over the next five years I hope the LPC can cleanse itself of the corrupt Chretien elements and return a new, squeeky-clean party ready to replace the NDP as the Official Opposition. Canada needs contributors and not parasites. We have a quasi two-party system for the next five years. A great night for all Canadians.
  2. Yeah, you're just about as dumb as a person can get.
  3. This Free Dominioon stuff is ancient history; by no means anything new. Free Dominion is dominated and tightly controlled by a teeny weeny group of fundamentalists who, since he was first elected PM, have been pissed off at Harper for not adopting their extremely backward social agenda. They thought - irrationally - that Harper and the CPC in general believed what they do. Unfortunately for them, the CPC is just as secular as all the other parties. I'd bet there are more NDPers who believe in UFOs than Conservatives who buy FD's social narrow-mindedness. BTW, I was booted out of FD for daring to point out how they were violating Christ's teaching. I am not a member of any religion or religious sect - I'm an agnostic.
  4. I guess we'll just have to take your (intensely biased) word on it.
  5. Behind the times by at least five years. The Conservatives I know are as far from being religious zealots as the NDP are from being self-sufficient, productive members of society.
  6. I think you already are. Based on your posts, I'd wager when you make your daily trip down to Skonk Holler to have your jug refilled with Mule Kick, Clem doesn't have to bother with a cork.
  7. Here is an educated guess: Cons - 167 NDP - 70 LPC - 54 BQ - 16 Green - 1
  8. I don't think the Liberals will be paying much attention to Parliament after the 2nd. They have serious leadership issues and they need to get back to number 2 in the polls before the next election. Even with a minority, Harper will have a lot more freedom than he's had for the last two years. If PMSH uses this freedom wisely and productively, if he licks the deficit as he has predicted, and if Canada continues to be the financial model for the Western World, he will strengthen his position and prestige in Canada. The LPC is in a huge pile of doo-doo.
  9. And, don't take your wallet with you. If it's raided tell the cop your name is "John Layton" - something believable.
  10. The "we" being all those who agree with you, yes? The sentiment doesn't apply to the non-politically correct and other conservatives, right?
  11. SO you're calling me a liar? You wouldn't get away with it face-to-face. The only folks I know who make things up are Liberals. AND, if you were half as bright and knowledgeable as you think you are, you'd investigate. Alberta's health care system is a disaster.
  12. What the hell are you talking about? I asked my doctor last week and that's what he told me. A client whose wife almost died from colon cancer was told he had to wait also. So, he went to a clinic outside the country and paid for it. Sure, he might have gone to a private clinic in Canada, BUT he is wealthy and decided to go to a more state-of-the-art facility. Other Canadians who can't afford it, DIE!
  13. The hypocracy of the Laytons of the country is killing people every day. Our health care system is a frigging mess and needs drastic reforms. We need to look to the more successful system of Europe - those with intelligent and working combinations of public/private care and improve upon them. If they can do it so can we. Or maybe we just aren't smart enough. If I can get a colonoscopy in two days in a small city in California, why do I have to wait three years in Calgary?
  14. Indeed! Besides, Harper has given Canadians the truth; the Liberals, NDP and fellow-travellers are strangers to the truth and can't recognize it.
  15. When some men have "certain needs" sometimes they need a "therapist". I've never heard it called "therapeutic massage" before today.
  16. Scary socialists with a hidden agenda
  17. Sounds like being an NDPer is really stressful.
  18. That's about the best one can say about it. On the other hand maybe he's so stupid he didn't know any better OR he really was there for a rub and tug. In any event, he should have known the establishment's reputation (it wasn't a secret). Doesn't say much about his decision making or his good taste.
  19. That Jack Layton is a prince....har har har!
  20. Home is Calgary and clients are conservative. I know of very few who would deny a women the right to a medically necessary abortion.
  21. After watching politics for over 50 years, I'd say this revelation came from the LIBERAL party. It is the party that has been replaced by the NDP (Layton) and is desperate to claw its way back to number two. It's also typical of Liberal ethics and morality.
  22. Yes, I have. Only those areas of the body that were supposed to be naked were naked. I was allowed to, and encouraged, to keep my shorts on and my hands to myself.
  23. I would sooner see Cretch's head on a pike!
  24. Now, that's a statement with which I agree 1000%
