  1. The two are separate things! You are not reading the link (sorry my comment I mean), and then extrapolating a question from only the parts that you read to fabricate another position which I do not take. WWWTT
  2. Seeing a lot of stuff about chemtrails. Found a thread here about it two pages long with 3 banned members on it. Any worth in re opening the discussion? Or is this topic taboo!

I've already discussed it in some of the climate change threads.

Thanks GH! I think I'm going to stay away from this topic for the moment. Some of these topics bring out some nastiness!

True enough, I suppose, but anything that smells of "discredited conspiracy theory" is going to get a lot of grief...everywhere, not just here.

  3. Yes Count count would like that! LOL! WWWTT
  4. Lets make something perfectly clear hear. This trolling or act of trolling appears to have a very lose definition. I have started over the last few months moving away from labelling posters or their comments into the "troll(ing)" category. What gets me is that when the moderators say that you shouldn't respond to trolling or trolls?!?!?!? In my opinion this is absolutely ridiculous. Or more like absolutely impossible! I'm the type of person that always try to find something positive (sometimes anyways), not looking for negativity. So I can't see this attitude/style/approach ever working for me. Not responding to personally insulting comments and only reporting them is something that I am grudgingly starting to do. This isn't my forum so I have to at least obey some of the rules. WWWTT
  5. No that's not a troll comment! BC is making a clear factual statement! You're not even being specific about the words/phrases in that comment you think defines it as "trolling". And calling someone else a troll as far as I'm concerned IS AGAINST forum rules. From what I see, BC is the senior member hear on this forum (according to his comment count), and as far as I'm concerned, that counts for something GH! You are blaming the moderation for something that I disagree with! WWWTT
  6. No sorry, you still have it backwards. Back in 2008/2009, the liberals, bloq and the NDP had the majority of MP's sitting. Not the conservatives. Increasing stimulus spending that saved our economy (not to be confused with increased military spending, increase conservative government staff and deeper corporate tax cuts) was something that the MAJORITY MP's sitting wanted, not the conservative MP's. It was until the MAJORITY sitting MP's told the GG that the gig was up if the conservative MP's don't play ball. WWWTT
  7. Does it really matter? The job of our government is to run the country that serves the people, not run a company! If anybody does not see the difference. I hope to God you never become a politician! The government is not a run for profit organization. The conservatives are playing to their base here, sounds like they are worried. And that's a good thing my friends! WWWTT
  8. No sorry, you actually have it backwards. Because the majority of the MP"s sitting in the house of commons knew that to lesson the impact of the recession there was a needed a surge in stimulus spending. This was what saved our economy from collapse. And in the end, the conservatives took credit for the debt by posting a sign at every single project, see link http://ri.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LEVjtPx11TCioAJFoXFwx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByMG04Z2o2BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--/RV=2/RE=1398683600/RO=10/RU=http%3a%2f%2fwww.conservative.ca%2f%3fp%3d363/RK=0/RS=AflkuaBOXik99GuNIbFA_ABQDTI- WWWTT
  9. No that's not right. What cybercoma is saying is that he believes that this surplus will be the main focus of the conservative re election campaign. That's what I get anyways. WWWTT
  10. ???? I never suggested any different. WWWTT
  11. And what about other people who committed other crimes, do you have the same sympathy for them. According to the conservatives tough on crime approach, the conservative government doesn't WWWTT
  12. As far as I can tell, this thread is about moderating MLW's moderation. And some of the recent comments seem to be in line with the topic suggested from the title.( true maybe some of the comments drifted, but nothing way out there) Beware, the rules are open to interpretation of the moderators! I think someone here hit a sensitive nerve. WWWTT
  13. So you believe the forum was dropped because of a political decision to dissolve parliament for an election? Are do I have that wrong? WWWTT
  14. Sorry I wasn't clear. TVO I believe was trying to use the forum to research new/old topics to use in their programing and in support. After all, why have paid employees spending time and money in keeping up a forum if it only served the purpose of entertaining a few posters? What's in it for the administration of the forum???? WWWTT
  15. No I just thought it was funny that Squid thought you did bring that forum down. I give you no such credit at all my friend, lets be absolutely clear about that. I am also starting to find it amusing that you are confirming your position that the CBC forum collapsed because of the moderators/moderation policy itself! Please elaborate further! WWWTT
  16. Hey buddy take my advise, don't go to China OK! I'm going to bed now so have the last word. Good night TimG. WWWTT
  17. I doubt there was any money being made from the CBC forum, therefore they cut the waste when hit with government cutbacks or during a re evaluation. And why I added your comment here Squid is because you give these guys some kind of credit for apparently taking down a forum! I find that freekin hilarious! BC and JBG taking down a forum! It could be true I guess? I remember talking with Steven Paikin from TVO at the NDP leadership convention. I asked him about their online forum, if they were bringing it back and he told me that there was too much bickering on it and not enough constructive dialogue. I equated that as they weren't getting enough revenue from it because the participants weren't co operating. WWWTT
  18. Well I guess if you're happy about it, then you'll vote conservative. WWWTT
  19. And what's your point then? You're constantly trying to prove that Taiwan is an independent country, so freekin what buddy? That does not in any way prove that Taiwan is NOT part of China, as recognized by the US and a total of 157 countries! But somehow you think that if you convince me, than the US is going to change it's political relationship with Beijing????? That's just freekin spun buddy? Let me ask you something TimG, have you ever thought you were Napoleon at one time in your life? WWWTT
  20. Dan Heap, Former NDP MP and activisit dead at 88. Rest in Peace Dan.

  21. No sorry Autonomous. WWWTT
  22. Because 5 years later there is a few months of surplus? The middle class sacrificed their educations, health care, retirements, infrastructures for years so that the elite can pack their Caymen island accounts and buy the blue, red AND lime green Ferraris for their vacation homes for this?!?!?!?!? Trickle economics don't work! Doesn't matter how you dress it up or how many show girls you use to sell it, they don't work! WWWTT
  23. Oh no I saw it, I just didn't give your comment the credit you thought it deserved because the death penalty and other laws change from state to state. So in other words, your cross analogy doesn't hold water. You are trying to impose/overlay that the same political structure and culture from the west onto China. And that's not the way to go. Observe and learn their perspective and see if there is anything there that we could use. WWWTT
  24. The cheque is in the mail. WWWTT
  25. Trickle down economics, doesn't work! Trickle down economics, doesn't work! WWWTT
